Amazing place, beautiful views peaceful mornings! Lots of space to walk around and admire the Roos and birds. House was fully self contained and very homely. Would definitely stay again here.

We visited the area for a local open garden event and the Stoneleigh Miners Cottage was the perfect weekend accommodation. We felt so warmly welcomed, with thoughtful touches throughout the home to make our stay not just comfortable but special. Our highlights were sipping port by the fireplace and a peaceful breakfast on the verandah! Tim was a friendly and responsive host and the local recommendations were great. We would very happily stay here again!

Beautiful little cottage next to Wombat Botanical Gardens. Spotless comfortable and cosy with lovely garden. Perfect for a weekend to explore Daylesford and region. Catherine was so helpful recommending local restaurants.

I had the pleasure of staying at Lady Marmalade a beautiful home, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we walked in, I was struck by the stunning decor, thoughtfully curated and stylist, yet warm and inviting. Every room was well-appointed with attention to detail, make the space feel like a true home away from home. One of the standout features was the thoughtful little touches like the high-quality toiletries and homemade marmalade and other food goodies left out for guest, a lovely surprise. Overall, this home is a true gem, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway with a personal touch.

We had a wonderful two nights in the Garden Loft at Poets Lodge. A beautiful and comfortable space that was ideal for a weekend getaway. Angeline and Richard were responsive and gracious hosts.

Neal was a great host from check in to check out! All the thoughtful extras were appreciated. The cottage felt very welcoming and homely on arrival and throughout our stay. A beautiful base to travel within the Central Goldfields region. Neal's knowledge of the area and recommendations were appreciated as we were able to visit some of these places which we enjoyed.

We had a great stay at Daylesford Country Retreats. The accommodation was just as described and as per the photos. The beautiful scenery around the property made our stay so peaceful. We will definitely be coming back again. Thank you for having us!

Kim’s place was lovely. We took our two golden retrievers who really appreciated all the little touches that make it ideal for pups - things like snacks for them on arrival and pup friendly bed linen. The area is ideal if you’re looking to step away from the city hustle and bustle, and just vanish into the countryside. Whilst Vaughan is very quiet and peaceful, Daylesford was about a 20-30 mins drive away which of course has plenty to do. An ideal balance of both worlds. Kim’s responses were super quick which was hugely appreciated and a great welcome pack was available too. Highly recommend to anyone who just wants to step away from the world for a little hush time. If you are looking for peace and tranquility and a chance to gaze up at the stars and explore the beautiful region with family or friends, the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage is the perfect spot. You can sit outside on the veranda and watch kangaroos and birds or sit under the gazebo and enjoy a picnic. Stephanie is the most lovely host you will ever meet!

Piccolo was the perfect spot for our anniversary weekend. Private with just the right amount of luxury thrown in. I loved that the bedroom area was separate from the main living area. It was also nice to have a drink and a meal on the outside table overlooking the Hepburn Hills. Only minor downside was that nothing was in walking distance, but we had our car so that wasn't a problem. I'd highly recommend for a couples' getaway.

Wombat Cottage is the ideal place to stay if you have your furry friend with you. The cottage is secure and well equipped for dogs and the walks with them in the parks, to the shops and around lakes are limitless. For us humans, Wombat Cottage was clean, warm, cosy and had everything we needed for a 4 day holiday. I would highly recommend it and we are already planning to return next year.

Ellen and Kevin are attentive and welcoming hosts. Astley Cottage is clean and cozy with beautiful views of the surrounding native forest. Daylesford is a beautiful town with so much to see and experience, wish we'd booked a longer stay!

A great historical setting fully equipped. Excellent internet connection. A good shower and a really comfortable bed. Ballarat has a good selection of eating establishments within a few minutes drive. The brilliant Sovereign Hill historic gold mining village is also near by. We would certainly stay here again.

We had the most wonderful time at the Maggie May cottage! Selena was such a great host, giving us awesome local recommendations and being available to answer any questions we had. The cottage was impeccably clean and organised, with everything being easy to find. Our stay felt very comfortable and luxurious, our children enjoyed all of the toys & games available too! The Cottage was very well presented, spacious and had top quality bedding and bed furniture. The kitchen had an extensive range of crockery, cutlery and tools. It is an ideal location for the rail trail cycle path. We would stay again if we revisited the area.

A beautifully furnished, lovely cottage. Amber’s local restaurant and cafe recommendations were phenomenal - we jam packed a long weekend trying to get to as many of them as possible! A fraction noisy with the train line nearby but we knew that going in and all still slept well.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It’s very cosy and clean. There’s everything you need in the kitchen. There were even games and colouring books for the kids. There are farms around you so it’s perfect if you want to escape the hustle of the city. Just a quick drive to all the sights in the area. Kylie is a very friendly and helpful host, always responded quickly. We would definitely come back.

I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. Every detail is well thought out. I would move in tomorrow if I could, only problem it's a bit far from Ireland. Love, Loved it. Thanks Jane. From the Richmonds.
