Arriving at Tieedi we were immediately welcomed like old friends by Roy and the team and made to feel at home. This is an amazing oasis of calm in the beautiful forest where the aim is to protect the environment and work with the community towards eco-conservation and permaculture, which is a great initiative. The food was all organic and delicious and varied. Many stories were shared over meals where we found new friends. Roy was really helpful organising transport for us and suggesting places to visit. Beautiful views of the leafy forest from the room and birdsong in the morning, very relaxing. We would love to visit again in the future! Thank you Roy and Utsow for a wonderful stay.

Great place in Shantiniketan. We had a very nice time there with the family. Great staff who were nice and easy to deal with as well. Also recommend the home style food that they freshly cook and serve there.

Positives 1. The property is very well maintained, serene and peaceful, a perfect weekend getaway 2. I loved the individual choices of a few items in the room, specially the first floor of Villa 1 3. Accessibility is brilliant with ample car parking facility and very spacious 4. My family and my pet enjoyed thoroughly walking on the grass lawn 5. Generator and power back up was quite nice Possible things to improve 1. While I understand the rationale of employing natives it is pertinent they understand Bengali quite clearly. 2. There was no TV in either of the rooms in Villa 1 3. Flexibility ( may be due to seasonality ) was quite low on the food menu 4. An Intercom facility would be great to have considering the charges.

We are sad that it was just a night stay but each moment we stayed there was fun. The staff entertained us with music and dance; they even sang a song in my mother tongue, malayalam. The eco-friendly hut had heated bed, colorful curtains, & clean bathrooms. The food was yummy; I even got to taste the local liquids Thongba. What I loved most was they are dog-friendly 💚. The Lab loved us so much so that she chose us to stay with 💜 I will definitely come again with family to stay for long.

Our stay at DIYA was magical! The property is gorgeous! We savoured every moment on our two porches! The gardens are so peaceful and lovingly maintained. Everything about our time was perfect, but is is the kindness of the beautiful staff that touched our hearts and will be cherished forever. Preparing delicious meals, delivering coffee to our porch in the morning, organizing bicycles for us, finding our sandals washed after the storm, waiting up for us when we were late returning and greeting us with warm smiles every day made us feel so cared for in this serene oasis! what an amazing place and location.ultimate peace of mind. the food is worth paying thousand dollars.the host and the staff are great. they are so well behaved and spoken. they are very hospitable....must visit place to stay at shantiniketan...will come again

Outstanding location beside river ajoy. Go for cycling through breathtaking views. Sit back and relax with bon fires places at all the right places. Kithen and staff quaters and whole property is clean and beautiful. Outstanding gardening within the property and you can see fresh grown veggies which you can have.

We planned a trip to Bolpur to experience "poush mela" and stumbled upon Arunima's listing. It's a beautiful place! better than the pictures! so serene and peaceful. Will definitely come back whenever we are visiting Bolpur. Thank you for hosting us.
