This might be my favorite home that I’ve stayed in using Airbnb! Hanna Hospitality was super communicative, proactive, and kind. The home itself felt extremely clean and like a family home. I spent most of my time out in downtown Clarkston, but pretty much stayed on the deck or in the water when I was there. All of the furniture in this home was clean and comfortable, making it easy to lounge indoors and outdoors. The bed was almost more comfortable than my bed at home. The home is as described, and even cleaner than expected. The only challenge and my reason for the four stars: it was a bit frustrating to get into the front door. Hanna Hospitality provided clear directions for the keypad, but it’s weird that you had to “wake it up.” I hope I get to stay here again each time I visit Clarkson! Thank you for this wonderful stay!

Monica is an exceptional host – she left very thorough instructions, followed up with us consistently, and had a magical space that made us feel right at home. The bathroom and bath tub were incredible! The neighborhood is unique with lots of DIY parks and urban agriculture – lots of friendly neighbors who were open and welcoming to sharing the history of the area and their dedication to maintaining it. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again! Detroit is an awesome city, and this is a great location to experience the best it has to offer!

What a great stay! The apartment is cozy, and it looks much better than in the pictures. We felt right at home. It is private and secured. Has everything you need. Also, having an in suite washer and dryer is a big plus for a place in an apartment building. You can see the water and the bridge from the balcony. The area seems very quiet and safe. We honestly did not wanna leave 🤣 The host is very nice and responsive. If you are still considering, look no further. Highly recommended!

I was raised much of my younger years in New Baltimore. It's a great location near my family, high school friends, several restaurants, & the park on the bay. Many interesting area sites & museums are within an hour drive. Everything needed to be comfortable is within the unit. Gina, Thanks for being a good host.

Alexander is super friendly, willing to help whenever he can. Location is quite close to downtown and in a safe location. Highly recommended.

Joseph appartement checked all the dots I expected for a great airbnb experience. It was cute, cosy, clean, functional, easy to enter / exit, ideally situated for Detroit (it's midtown, but let's be real, you're 5 min away from downtown AND you're one block away from the Q-Line). I really enjoyed my stay. Joseph was easy to communicate with and left some treats! I strongly recommend this place!

Great place and host made sure the time spent in his place felt like home. Host was super friendly and provided free top-notch wifi, microwave and a coffee maker.

Joseph’s place was just as described. Very clean. The fireplace was nice after a day of hunting. We stayed for 4 nights and it was very nice. Plenty of room for 7 adults and one child, with extra room left over. The extra fridge/freezer in the garage was nice for the surplus food and drinks. All in all a great place to stay.

Very comfortable stay, super clean & neat. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for simple hot meals. Relaxing hot tub just right for two, and oodles of clean towels. Really want to say I appreciate hosts like Jamieson who politely request a few reasonable housekeeping tasks of his guests, instead of long lists of required chores and exorbitant cleaning fees. Would definitely stay there again.

I have the best experience of my life at the lake house. It was my birthday and it’s always the coldest month of the year but this made it the best birthday Ive ever had. Beautiful inside and we spend to much time in the hot tub that was my highlight because I’m anemic and never felt warm and the beauty of the lake and lights at night was perfect.

The location with a view of Lake Erie was perfect. We could walk down to the beach, to a nearby park, some very good restaurants or uptown. The home was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space for the two of us.

Such a beautiful, comfortable home! We loved it so much. We want to try to book it when we return to Michigan because it is so perfect.
