We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again. We even looked to book at Xmas but all properties are fully booked so I will have to quick next.

We love this area & visit quite a lot & this house was one of the very best we have stayed in! Quirky layout on different levels, well equipped, lovely decor & within walking distance of local restaurants & takeaways should you need them! We had a meal at the Queen's Arms which was gorgeous & good value for money! The property is well situated to visit all our fave places - Saltburn, Sandsend & Whitby. One day we walked along the Cleveland Way from Skinningrove (gorgeous beach!) to Saltburn then on the beach to Redcar & back the next day from Sandsend to Whitby and back. There is loads to do in the area & this house is great base - we will definitely be back!!

Just got back from a wonderful ‘mini break ‘ at Little Fox Cottage . Great location , perfectly situated for exploring the delights of North Yorkshire . The cottage is very easy to find, and we received a warm welcome from our host Adrian , who made everything seamless from start to finish. He clearly cares that his guests enjoy their stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy, and has everything you need. We fell in love with nearby Thornton Le Dale , which is well worth a visit and after a longer than planned walk with our dog , (due to missing the local bus back😩 ), the cottage was the perfect place to unwind , chill and relax in . Not forgetting the added bonus of a decent pub right next door which served good food and great service. In fact everywhere we went in the area , people were very friendly and kind. We will definitely be back in the future ! X

Beautiful house in the upper part of Runswick Bay with easy access to the beach and Cleveland Way. It was perfect for our family reunion (six adults and 4 children). it’s a large dormer bungalow, maybe a little dated but with modern bathrooms and well equipped kitchen which were spotlessly clean. Despite it being the coldest weekend in Britain for 10 years we were cosy with central heating, extra oil filled radiators and wood burners. Susan was the perfect host with good communication and many thanks for leaving us plenty logs. The toys which are mentioned in lots of reviews were great for the children. They even ventured to the bottom of the garden to the play area which was fantastic but too cold to stay long. We would love to stay in this house again maybe in the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful garden, eating al fresco and taking in the views of the bay and Kettleness in the distance.

A tranquil and homely retreat away from the hustle and bustle, with wonderful hosts and a special guest appearance each morning from Penny the gorgeous dog! A great spot to stay for a weekend away, and Judith is a lovely host.

This is the kind of place that makes you wish you could give 6 stars. Alex was superb as a host and her cottage was lovely, cozy and within walking distance of all you could want

Stylish cottage in a quiet location and only a few mins walk from the high st. Only thing I would suggest to improve is providing more toilet roll (no spare rolls) and some tea/coffee/sugar would have been nice to arrive to. There is a Morrison’s less than 5 mins walk away so it was fine though, it didn’t spoil our stay and would stay again.

Wow, what a great place Olivia has. It's so central, has parking, huge living space and everything you need for a getaway in a gorgeous town. The house was cosy but also had loads of space, the beds were comfy and everything was clean. There's plenty of stuff for young ones too, including high chair, travel cot and cutlery etc. Couldn't have wished for a better stay.

A lovely place with a lot of room, exactly as described in the listing! Everything was clean and the host was very communicative, ensuring that we had checked in ok. Great place for our stay as we were working in the local area.

We had a lovely weekend break at Marks place. There were 4 adults, 3 teenagers & one dog & the flat was big enough to accommodate us all. We found it comfortable, clean & well equipped with all you would need for a short break or longer. It was in a great position near Peasholm Park/North Bay & within walking distance of the town centre. There was also plenty of parking availability right outside & permits were provided. Mark was also a great host - very responsive & friendly. We would definitely return to stay again!

Really nice couple of days staying in York at Paul & Rachel's apartment. Comms were friendly and speedy from our hosts. Lovely building, really easy to find and free parking a bonus. Lovely space, just like the pics in a lovely building just a stones throw from going through Monk Bar to get into the city so perfect location. Very quiet and no issues with noise. Accommodation was clean and comfy. Slept well in a cosy bed - didn't really use the kitchen but had all we needed. Would certainly use again and recommend for other couples.

Our stay was perfect. The location is amazing, right in the heart of York and a short walk to York Minster, which we did every day to “check on her”! Eating places and pubs all close by and in the same street too. Just a wonderful experience in this beautiful medieval city. Highly recommend. And on a clear day you can see York Minster through the roof windows which was delightful.

Lovely apartment; exactly as pictured and described. Nice location. Hidden from main streets but very convenient to beaches and other areas. Perfect for a weekend getaway

Beautiful apartment, very spacious and quite. Enjoyed staying in a different area of York and there were lots of cafes, pubs and independent shops to stop and browse while walking into town.

We had a great stay in this awesome historic building. Was very comfortable. And being right in the middle of all the areas we wanted to explore. Great central location and easy walk to the parking garage. Definitely would boom again!

A real little gem not far from the the centre of York. Took less than 5 minutes to get to the heart of the city on foot, and you also have the added bonus of a parking space! The apartment was really lovely and very peaceful at night. The beds are super comfy!! I will definitely book this again...thank you Dave!
