The Cray is well situated with a several food options nearby. Mick and Prue are both very helpful, had provided clear and detailed instructions, along with recommendations for food and possible activities. The apartment is clean, spacious, comfortable and has a private undercover parking right at the doorstep.

What a place to stay! Cheryl is the best host and she is such a lovely person! It felt like our own home and Cheryl made every effort with all her thoughtful touches to make us feel very welcome. I loved the set up inside and out. The photos are completely accurate so you’ll find it exactly the way you expect it to be. Cheryl’s recommendations were super helpful and on point. We enjoyed everything about it and I didn’t want to leave! I’d definitely want to go back again.

The location is absolutely fantastic, making it easy to explore the area. Sue and her hubby are incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. And the breakfast? Absolutely wonderful—thoughtfully prepared and a perfect start to the day. If you’re looking for a stay that’s charming, comfortable, and full of personality, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to visit again!

It was an absolute pleasure to stay for 2 weeks in this cosy home away from home. The attention to detail that has been applied to the creation of this space is commendable, everything from the double glazing to ensure a cosy atmosphere to the most incredible sheets I’ve ever slept on - seriously, where did you get those sheets?!? The space was both highly functional and aesthetically pleasing, with Jan going to great lengths to add extra little touches throughout my stay. I highly recommend a stay at James on Coles, and will be back again! An added bonus was being able to sit outside of an evening and watch the very well fed wallabies wander through for their evening meal, such a delight! Thank you for having me, I’ll be back again!

We loved our stay, exploring Strahan with everything nearby. Very comfortable home perfect for our family. Everything within waking distance & the cafe just across the road. Stunning sunsets, Heritage Cruise a highlight, train trip, dinner at Risby’s & the local pub. Staying at the lovingly restored station masters house just added to the experience. Highly recommend

This house was good value, homely and comfortable and warm ( if heaters needed / also effective aircon in living room). Well appointed kitchen and separate toilet useful with a larger group. Comfortable beds. Very quiet location.

I had a sensation stay at Kelly's beautiful seaside cottage. The location is perfect for anyone loving the beach, water and sunshine. The cottage itself is super cosy and has everything you could ever need. The afternoon sunsets at the Western side of the cottage are just fabulous. A morning swim at the excellent East Beach a short walk away is highly recommended. As is taking the cycle path into George Town for groceries. I tried the nearby wineries and also cycling the North East Rail Trail from Scottsdale during my visit, all fun. I really enjoyed my stay and can't wait to return. The 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing 2 night stay. The Coachouse was terrific and generously stocked. We picked Blueberries, Blackberries and Tomatoes very generously encouraged by Stephanie. The walk around Westbury was interesting and a platypus was seen down in the Common wetlands.

Great spot to enjoy the quiet, birds, nature and easy access to local walks. Many thanks, we enjoyed sitting out in the back garden and watching the Fairy Wrens and the pademelons at night were a fascination for our Yorky, Jamieboy.

We had a lovely time at the cottage, fantastic place and family friendly location with beautiful surroundings, the kids loved the Beach and watching the little penguins. Very relaxing, Thanks Deb and Mike for making this possible, we would love to return back someday. Kind Regards Deshan

Each year we do a family weekend away somewhere in Tasmania staying in a different location from the previous year. We would certainly consider revisiting this home again.
