Great for a stay while visiting our daughter at Purdue. We loved being able to walk to all kinds of shops and restaurants. Super clean. It is on the 2nd floor with no elevator, so you do need to climb a flight of stairs. Bed was super comfortable. You can definitely hear traffic because you’re downtown. We already have 2 more visits booked with Burt!

LOVELY! Burt's place is ideally located, walkable to so many coffee shops, boutiques etc. Traveled with two small kids so we needed room for cribs, and this space is actually much larger than photos reflect. Burt is also very responsive. We plan to come back to Lafayette and would absolutely select Burt's place again.

Super cute space centrally located in Lafayette. It’s close enough to campus but also far enough away to be uncrowded. Lives everything about it.

Beautiful apartment and great location!

Our second visit! See the first review - nothing has changed. Felt very safe. Will be back again! Only real con is street parking. Parking is close by and plentiful, but the city only gives 2 hours (3 hr on adjacent corner) free per side. Once you park on one side, you can’t return to the same side of the street till 5 pm (free from 5 pm to 7 am weekday nights, holidays, and weekend). So for weekday parking, you will have to move the car by 9 am to a different spot hopefully across the street then move it every 2 hrs to a different BLOCK - since you can’t go back to the side you started on till 5 pm. Despite the chaotic parking issues, we really enjoy this place and the host is ultra responsive.

I was torn between a 4 or 5 star review, but I felt like it was accurately described so it deserved the 5. It was great for the cost! The location was PERFECT for being in downtown Lafayette and we walked to food easily (highly recommend The Lobby for breakfast, lunch, or a light dinner) and 2 miles from the Purdue Union. The condo was very clean, but just had a bit of a musty smell that led us to leaving the window open for a while. This is true for every old apartment/condo I’ve ever been inside in the area, so I didn’t feel that it deserved a change in star and likely there’s nothing that the host can do to change it. Easy to find, but the key pad took a couple tries to get the numbers to all light up. The parking spot was great and very close, but I’d advise backing in because overnight people parked against the building across from the spot and it was difficult to get out. The pillows were a little thin, but the bed was comfortable. The walls were a little thin, but pretty typical
