We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

A really ideal place to stay with simple but great facilities and careful thoughts to the details. Check in was easy and there is plenty of on street parking. The place was spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.

Paul was an absolutely fantastic host, this place is perfect for family gatherings and weekends away from the city. Paul even was lovely enough to show us round his farm, the baby cows were a brilliant sight to see. Be sure to book through his website rather than AIR BNB for cheaper prices. Me and my group of friends had a fabulous weekend away, amazing escape from London. and there’s more rooms available than shown if you need more space for a larger gathering!

Great place to stay. Lovely surroundings, friendly working farm, my kids loved seeing the piglets and feeding them. A walk into Lincoln in just over an hour, through the fields, brilliant. Super helpful and friendly host. Great hot tub with privacy, accommodation had everything needed for a great stay. Would highly recommend and happily stay again. Thanks Fen Farm

We had a lovely couple of days away in Lincolnshire, the house was well equipped with everything needed. Stewart met us on arrival and ran through some information on the property. We enjoyed exploring the area and very much enjoyed some relaxation in the hot tub!

Byron Lodge exceeded our expectations. Everything was easy. Excellent communication from Mark. We were impressed that the wood burner was on and had warmed the lodge beautifully. Several mobile radiators were available too. Three sizes of really good quality towels, plenty of extras in the shower rooms. Beds really comfortable with throws and plenty of pillows. The easy access to Sherwood Forest from the top of the property was a wonderful bonus for walking the dog and we loved the horses. An absolutely delightful stopover on our trip north.

Wow! What a fantastic place to stay! This place is a little gem and when word gets out it will be constantly booked. The photos really don’t do it justice. Everything is to a very high spec, the sofa is mega comfy, the bed is superb, the mattress is clearly very expensive and don’t get me started on the shower!! It’s a waterfall with plenty of pressure and has the extra shower you can take down and rinse with. Plenty of hot water. Everything is supplied, including top quality bath sheets, hand towels AND dressing gowns. Lots of handwash in the kitchen and bathroom, plenty of loo rolls and a shower mat in the shower as well as another to step out onto. The kitchen is really high quality and again fully equipped with an induction hob, fan assisted oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker and microwave. Tablets for the washing machine and dishwasher included. The TV in the lounge is a smart TV with airplay and larger than in the photos. Simon is so helpful with everything!!

The Old Parlour was the best place we have ever stayed on air bnb, we had an amazing experience for my partners 30th. It is a real stand out location and is full of thoughtful touches from Ella and Sam. Extremely clean and fresh, garden was perfect for our toddler and dogs. Stunning walks and views straight from the front door and such a relaxing stay. Cannot wait to return!

We had the best time at this beautiful cottage with absolutely stunning view. Everything we needed was there. Kevin was very quick to reply, welcomed us in but then left us to enjoy. We stayed with 4 children and there was plenty of space. The log burner was just wonderful. Kitchen appliances all great. The photos don’t do it justice, it’s far more beautiful. So happy and we will be back thank you 😊

Had an amazing stay here for a few nights over New Year's, clean throughout the property and looked exactly like the pictures, would highly recommend if your looking to stay in this area

Lucinda was a fantastic host and the property was beautiful! Even down to the finest details, we had everything to hand and couldn’t have possibly needed anything else, the surrounding area was so peaceful and beautiful, we will definitely be returning here! The host even helped us when we had car trouble, going above and beyond to support us!

Thank you Rachel for a wonderful stay in your beautiful barn. It was even better than the photos and we both felt at home,it was in a peaceful setting in a lovely village. I would highly recommend staying here and include a visit to the plough inn booking is recommended and Belton House NT which is 10 minutes down the road.

We had a great stay here exploring the surrounding countryside and seeing some family. Very lovely village you could walk around with a great play park if you have kids. Lovely pubs in the local area and lots of suggestions found in the welcome pack. Very grateful for the extras supplied like some croissants and milk. All the amenities plus extra (shampoo and conditioner in the shower if needed). They were very responsive when we had an issue with the heating on the first night and it was perfect for what we needed. Thanks!

Our stay at the Barn exceeded our expectations. The Barn is beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. All creature comforts have been thought of. The linens and pillows were sumptuous. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were so grateful for the impeccably clean kitchen - everything looked new. So considerate to leave a dog bowl and other items. We thoroughly enjoyed nights in by the fire after long country walks. Cozy is an understatement. Just across the road is the most beautiful 25 min walk to a country pub where we had a lovely dinner (The Kings Head) . Our hosts were gracious and responsive. We are grateful as well for the late checkout. It was a super stay start to finish and I highly recommend.

We had a lovely , relaxing stay, and we especially enjoyed watching the cows moving around the field! The cottage was both cosy and spacious, well-equipped and comfortable for our family of six. There is lots to do in the area, as well as accessible for days out further afield. Laura was very quick to respond to any queries we had. We would definitely recommend for a real getaway!

Loved the stay in Victoria's annexe, the annexe was clean tidy and very comfortable. Very kind and informative hosts who left a generous offering at the start of the stay including fresh bread and a small flask of home made wine. Absolutely loved Lincoln cathedral and its environs, I thought we had the best cathedral in Canterbury...not so sure any more!

Absolutely loved our stay myself and 11 members of our family celebrating a 60th birthday and nye . Lots of space very comfortable and had everything you could want in the house . Also lots of great board games . Our 5 dogs Absolutely loved the freedom in the area . Lovely cosy stay sorry to leave but will return

Thank you for a great stay, this place is idyllic. Beautiful countryside all around, luxurious and perfect.

Booked a couple of nights away for my wife’s birthday we wanted somewhere to just relax and get away from it all. Pleased to say that is exactly what we did. The hayloft has been restored beautifully and we wished we could have stayed in it for longer! We had our 2 miniature dachshunds with us and it’s perfect for dog owners too. We went on a couple of nice long walks in the beautiful surroundings. Quite a cold time of year but once back inside and the wood burning stove heats up along with the spa bath (which steals the show) you heat up in no time. There are a couple of pubs nearby one of which is the penny farthing, we had lunch at one of the days which was also very good with friendly staff. All in all a great trip hosted by the lovely Sherry who made us feel at home straight away and she has done a lovely job of restoring the building with so much thought and little details.

Stayed here for 2 nights & it is an amazing place. The accommodation is cosy & homely & so clean. Probably the cleanest Airbnb accommodation I've ever had. The bed was so comfortable & it's just such a cosy place. There was milk & orange juice, eggs, bread, pastries & cereals, etc there on arrival which was much appreciated. A fenced little garden which my dog loved. Was so peaceful & relaxing sitting in the garden in the afternoon. We went for a relaxing weekend break & that is exactly what we got, with the added bonus of horses there too. Roxanne clearly cares about the welfare of her guests, as it is clear to see how much thought is put into the arrival of guests, & all the added little extras that are put in to make it so lovely there. Thank you Roxanne & family. We shall definitely be booking to stay with you again soon.

Absolutely excellent cottage, idyllically quiet, not a sound but birdsong! Saw a deer in the garden, ducks, blackbirds, pigeons, cats, squirrels, doves and magpies. Whole cottage was very homely, warm, spotlessly clean, great shower and wet room, wonderful conservatory; nothing was missing for our great 4 day stay. Only 15 minutes from Woodhall where we saw the Andre Rieu show at the Kinema, and we love Woodhall Spa anyway. Ideal in every way. Thanks also for the lovely welcome pack.

We loved our stay, while we didn't meet Maureen she did keep us informed with things to do by messaging through the app. We did however meet Drew and had a good chat in the garden on what was a nice sunny day. The photos and description of the property do not do it justice, my wife said she would happily move in permanently. We would definitely recommend the property and the village.
