We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean, cozy and welcoming. The grounds are spectacular and the creekside sauna was delightful. We didn't see a single car on the road which was a pleasant surprise. A wonderful spot to relax and catch up with dear friends.

The Upstate Place was just what my boyfriend and I wanted and needed out of our short stay. The house was extremely clean and provided all of your essential needs. The location is private and peaceful. The hot tub was definitely a plus and was one of the highlights of our trip. We did experience a 6-7 hour power outage but we didn’t allow that to ruin the trip. The fire pit helped us get through the night and keep our spirits up. Anna, the host was extremely responsive and I truly appreciate the super quick responses. All in all, we had a great time and we recommend The Upstate Place to anyone reading this review!

Stacy's cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for some time with family & friends! The place was very cozy with tons of things to do. The kitchen was perfect for cooking/grilling, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the basement was the perfect hang-out spot to play pool and/or use the home gym. The main street in town had a few nice stores and a couple of restaurants with live music/events, and the cabin is not a far drive from other cute NY towns if you're into antiquing/thrift stores. Would love to stay again in warmer weather to take advantage of the deck and outdoor space!

We had a great relaxing time. The only thing was that we had to get into the circuit breaker a couple of times because the hot tub tripped something. That was not easy as you had to find a screwdriver to remove a mirror that covered the box. But it was a simple enough fix, and did not affect our time.

This place was amazing!! I’m so glad we got to spend my birthday celebration here! The creek was so fun to explore. It was very fun just being outside all day long enjoying nature. We’ll be back most definitely :)

What a peaceful, cozy place to unwind and recharge. Kristin was very prompt, courteous, and informative from check-in to check-out. We really appreciated how the place was lit up (including the fireplace) with soothing background music playing as we entered the cabin, it was a warm welcome after a long drive in the freezing rain. The cabin was very private with a great view, and if you wanted to check out the surrounding area there are many places to visit, including Kristin's recommendations. All the amenities were as advertised. We especially enjoyed cooking our meals together utilizing their long and linear kitchen setup from the sink to the oven. Bedroom was very snug and both interior and exterior lighting felt very relaxing and, last but not least, beautiful sunrise and sunset. Overall a great vibe, was a great winter wonderland experience. We'd love to visit again in spring and autumn.

Quiet, peaceful and private. Exactly what we want for our getaways! The space is cozy and perfect for couples. Enjoying the jacuzzi under the stars was heavenly. A bald eagle flew by each day, and we saw lots of animal tracks in the snow on the property. With fun reading material, games, and the gorgeous view, we didn't even miss a TV! Definitely want to book again in another season. :)

Julie's place was the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna warmed us and the very well-equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare great meals. The house was beautiful, with two living rooms for different activities and energy levels, a game room downstairs, a dining room with a large table and chairs, and comfortable furniture and beds throughout. Julie texted me to make sure that our every need was met. We had a snow and ice storm, and she had the driveway and walkways plowed, shoveled and sanded twice, and kept plenty of salt on-hand. We hope to return sometime in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pond, too.

If your looking for a peaceful trip to the mountains, this place is perfect. It was private but 15-20 mins from a good restaurant and town. The Cabin feels spacious with a nicely designed floor plan. Loft, projector/music room was a good touch! Lots of great hikes in the area, bring crampons during winter months!! We would totally come back here in the future. The host(s) were responsive and helpful with tips from GPS use to pre downloading movies to play from your phone/projector. All cables and adapters were there already. Just bring good vibes, the rest is taken care of!

We had a wonderful stay here. It was exactly like the photos and it was magical with the snow outside. We loved snuggling down and watching a movie with the fireplace. The kitchen has all the essentials you need. The bedroom is spacious and comfy and waking up in the morning to the view outside is amazing. We will definitely come again.

This place was absolutely amazing and we had a wonderful time! The interior design is beautiful, the backyard with the pond enchanting, and everything was spotless. I highly recommend!

We had an amazing valentines weekend and my dog couldn’t have had more fun ! This private cabin in the neck of the woods can truly be described as a real getaway ! It has a beautiful landscape and is strapped with everything we needed and more. After a full day of hikes in the local area, we found ourselves snowed in and enjoyed some card games. We had an outdoor fire in the stone pit and made some smores. Colleen and Julian were also super accommodating for us due to the weather conditions as well. They are beyond helpful ! Thank you guys ! Will definitely be back !

Excellent stay for a small group - we only stayed for a weekend, but would be a perfect spot for a weeklong trip as well.

Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. Had the most wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The interior is beautifully decorated with such a warm, inviting atmosphere—it felt like a home away from home. The couches were super comfy, perfect for lounging after a day of exploring. One of my favorite things was the babbling creek right outside; it added the perfect calming touch to the experience. Our puppy had an absolute blast running around the property and playing in the snow—it was a perfect winter weekend getaway for all of us. Also situated close to quaint town and vineyard that had indoor wine tastings and live music.

Clinton's amazing cabin was exactly what our family was looking for. Peaceful, scenic surroundings, while still being close to civilization. Excellently appointed interior with cozy bedrooms.

We had the best time at Amanda s cabin in the woods. So cozy, so comfortable. It was impeccably clean. I wish I could live there. Amanda responded right away, the fact that it is pet friendly is a plus!!! I want to come back as soon as possible. If you want a little getaway, THIS is your spot. My husband, myself and our furry baby had the best cozy time ( FYI: I m all about cozy!) Thank you for everything. For those who are like me, you have found the perfect place! Enjoy 😉

We had a fantastic stay! The place was really beautiful and large! Close proximity to some great sights, and it was very very clean! Rhona was very helpful and responsive and told us we could check in at any time, which made traveling much less stressful! The only thing was that the shower caused a leak above the dining table - it didn’t bother us, Rhona said that it sometimes happens if the shower deism so clogged. Also, good to be aware that you can hear everything through the walls - which was actually helpful for us because we could hear the baby that slept in the room right above us. Didn’t even need the monitor. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come again!

We were absolutely thrilled with our stay at the Forest Nook in Wurtsboro, NY! She’s by far the most hospitable host we’ve ever encountered! She made us feel like family from the moment we arrived & even baked us a fresh blueberry loaf which was a perfect treat after a long flight! Throughout our stay, she went above and beyond her duties as a host. It honestly felt like we had known her for years. Her cabin is breathtaking, with a million-dollar lake view that we will never forget. From sunrise to sunset, you won't find a more peaceful, quiet, or beautiful spot. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to get away from a big city & want a peaceful, relaxing stay. Everything you need is just a short 15-minute drive away in Middletown, and the drive is an experience in itself, winding through a gorgeous green landscape, as if you're cruising through a lush green forest. Vanessa made our stay incredibly comfortable & unforgettable! We will definitely be returning!

Loved it here! It was peaceful & the stars were stunning — definitely follow Kathy’s advice and stock up on groceries / extra water before checking in, as it is fairly remote.
