Ben and family, What an amazing place you have photos do not do it justice. Me and the missus had the most amazing time, I have been fortunate to have been to many places around the world. Novia Scotia is now in my top 3 destinations. We will be coming back. As soon as we arrived, we just started to relax. Even took a couple of dips in the water, although freezing it had to be done, then back in the steaming jacuzzi to warm up : ). Although we only stayed for 6 days it felt longer, anyone looking to come to Novia Scotia needs to stay at this place, get a car or a 4x4 truck as I did makes it easier for driving around, this is an excellent base and away from the hustle and bustle of Halifax. Great little pub up the road with good food and locals are really welcoming. Thanks again for an amazing stay Phil & Sam

We chose this place because it was close by and it is Winter. We had a big snow storm the day of our arrival. Fortunately we only had a 20 min drive and yet it felt like we were in the woods. Robert greeted us and showed us around his lovely home. It was a place where the whole family could spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. All eight of us declared it was the best family Christmas we had in a long time. The beauty could be seen from every window. We were provided with everything we needed to have meals together and to play games and the young adults loved the hot tub. Robert had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and there was lots of little cozy spots to have one on one chats with each other. We realized after meeting Robert that he would be so cool to hang out with but he had other family plans. We are seriously considering making it a new Christmas Tradition.

Beautiful place, quiet, nice, it has everything you need. Perfect for a weekend getaway. Would 10/10 recommend and would love to come back in the future.

Great stay for a mother daughter girls night. The cabin 7 looked just like the photos. The hot tub and sauna were fun to use. It rained during our stay so we are looking to plan a summer visit to really enjoy the ocean and surroundings. Will be back!

Heather went above and beyond to ensure our stay was top notch! The fresh baked cookies were are warm welcome. She even provided cozy blankets to sit outside with and take in the most incredible sunrises! Highly recommend!

Our family had a fantastic Christmas at Deanna’s. It looks exactly as advertised, and is just really comfortable. Deanna was very helpful and timely in responding to questions, prior to, and during our stay. She was very flexible and accommodating to meet our timing needs. Awesome location and view. The accommodation is great, well taken care of and great for a family stay. Will definitely stay here again if back in the area.
