We had a lovely stay at the Dairy, Haslemere, situated in amazing grounds. Our host Louise was extremely welcoming and helpful. The cottage itself was cute and perfect for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, and generously supplied with breakfast fare (the homemade granola was very tasty). We had a great time, thank you.

This is an outstanding, peaceful retreat with top of the line fixtures and fittings. Melanie is very welcoming and friendly and the type of host who thinks of all the small details to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. The bedding and mattress were truly comfortable. The barn is such a beautiful, light space. We were after a quiet retreat in nature, and this was it! Horses, sheep, nesting birds on the doorstep and within very close proximity (5 minute drive) to Haslemere. We spent one day exploring in Winchester, as I'd never been - a great place! Good restaurants, cafés etc and a rich history. We will definitely come back!

We had a very comfortable stay at Joe's hut. The kitchen area was well equipped, breakfast provisions very generous and set us up for all the great walks accessible right out the back gate! As it states in the listing, you can hear the road noise outside the hut but inside it was well shut out and didn't disturb us. We would recommend and return :)

Quiet, bucolic setting for a beautifully appointed cottage at the end of a long lane. It’s situated next to a working but not intrusive farm with chickens, a cat, dog and horses. Eggs were given generously. Parking is very close by. Footpaths and bridle ways start on the farm. The cottage is furnished with high quality furniture, furnishings and equipment. There is a log burner and washing machine. We had a memorable five days there in great comfort.

We loved staying at the Turkey House this autumn. Straight out of the house you can walk through the beautiful woods up the Ashford Hangers and to the Poet’s stone. It is cosy with the Aga - never used one before but so easy and efficient to use. There is an electric stove but that wasn’t needed. The house has a ‘lived in’ feel. The well-stocked spice cupboard was very useful.

We enjoyed our stay with Steve and Sue. Everything was as described and it felt very clean and homely. Only thing worth mentioning is that Steve / Sue live in the house which is next to it as mentioned, but we didn’t realise there were wooden doors leading to their part of the house from where we were staying, as it is one building. So we tried our best to keep quiet for them! The surrounding and views from the house are stunning and the house was lovely. Thank you both.

We descended on Niall’s property for a book club weekend, after reading Northanger Abbey and wanting to visit Jane Austen’s house (approx 20min drive away). The house was so remote and peaceful, an expansive garden with beautiful views. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and the living room was perfect for a comfy chat. We did have a few issues which were all speedily resolved by a friendly, proactive host. All in all, a fabulous weekend.

Very quiet and comfortable house. Plenty of room and everything we needed. It suits us to be away from shops and busy roads but everything was still only a short drive away. If you like tramping across fields and visiting Sussex pubs, this is the spot. Thank you Pam for your homemade jam and the Christmas tree was much appreciated.

We had a fantastic stay at the Windmill Cabin. As mentioned before the photos really do not do this place justice. The attention to detail, time and quality that has gone into the renovation and decoration of the cabin is commendable. I’m not sure where to start but little things like good quality crockery, a fantastic bathroom and the wooden theme throughout really stood out. Sitting on the terrace, which really is a sun trap from the early afternoon, was just wonderful and of the course the fish fantastic as well. We can’t wait to come back!

A charming bijou rustic house. Well equipped with modern interior and wood burner style fire. Philip’s instructions for finding the place are accurate however, my car sat nav only got me nearish. Google maps worked.

The Stables was in my view perfect. The building was comfortable and warm, the kitchen area had everything you need and the bathroom and shower were just right. The location was peaceful with great sunsets. We will be back when we visit the area again. It was perfect for our needs. Joanne was very friendly and available when needed. An excellent host

The cottage was really warm and cosy and we felt at home straight away. Jane's instructions were very helpful, and there were many extras in the cottage. It was convenient for visiting Chichester and Arundel. Goodwood House was nearby, and the Aylesbury Arms serves good food, just a five minute walk along the road. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at the granary – the perfect spot for a quiet escape from the busyness of everyday life. The space is simple but comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was great to unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. There are some beautiful walks very close by, as well as plenty of restaurants to choose from. The host was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a no-fuss, cozy retreat in a lovely setting, this is a great choice. Would definitely recommend!

Ik verbleef een week bij Elizabeth om de omgeving te bekijken en vrienden te bezoeken uit de tijd dat ik au pair was in de regio. Bij Elizabeth was alles netjes en alles was aanwezig om hier een week te kunnen wonen, een huis van thuis. Fijn waren de melk in de koelkast, een voorraadje chocola en ontbijtgranen, koffie etc. en lekkers bij aankomst, heel attent. Wifi en Neflix waren uitstekend. Het enige nadeel was dat je 's avonds niet even een ommetje kon wandelen. Daar leent de omgeving zich niet echt voor, qua donkerte, en de wegen en straten in Lower Beeding.

Absolutely perfect for a short getaway. Perfect location and the views into the farm next door are beautiful. Inside is super cosy and cute, has everything you need. Elaine even provided a fresh loaf of bread and lots of breakfast essentials! We had such a lovely stay and would really recommend this place to anyone looking for a local getaway in Chichester area. Lovely spacious flat, very cosy. Kitchen was well equipped. The views are amazing and miles from busy villages. Nice touch with the breakfast hamper basket with bacon, eggs, homemade fresh loafs and milk. Will return in the future for a walking weekend.

Beautiful spacious house surrounded by beautiful views of nature, in which we enjoyed walking and exploring the woodland. Lynda was kind, helpful and also provided some delicious hand made treats - thank you Lynda, the cake was yummy. The whole family loved the place, beautiful energy and we felt right at home. We would definitely go back.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this charming comfortable cottage. We appreciated the clear directions and photographs. The host was always quick to respond to any queries. The cottage was extremely well equipped and beautifully presented. We were grateful for the extras. For example teas, coffees etc plus lovely bathroom soaps, shampoo etc. Although the weather did not allow, the pretty garden areas looked delightful. It is in a quiet location but an easy walk to the village amenities.

Wow! We absolutely loved this 3-day break. The pool exclusivity was amazing; all the facilities are brilliant and the accommodation is extremely comfy and cosy. Our sunday roast at The Gribble Inn was a real highlight. The kids loved the loft room (the stairs as advertised are steep!) and the beds were so comfortable. We are already planning our return for 2025. So impressive.

We had a wonderful stay at Elderflower Lodge! It is good value for money for the space and facilities in the lodge - well equipped kitchen, and everything you need. The hot tub is lovely and in a secluded area. The large lawn is good for any garden games and we took advantage of the boules set. The welcome hamper is a nice touch and saves you needing to go shopping straightaway. There's plenty of seating outside for when the weather is warm enough. Overall it's very quiet, peaceful and private. A lovely lodge for family stays or with friends.

Had a brilliant stay. Place is right next to Beak Brewery which is why we picked it. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed.
