Kyle was a wonderful host and the home itself is absolutely magical. We spent 2 nights here as a family and had the time of our lives. Well worth the 1.5 hour drive from DCA airport!

We stayed at David's wonderful home for a few days around the New Year's. The kitchen was well appointed, the beds comfortable and the gas fireplace was really comforting when it was cold and stormy outside. wonderful location close to the national wildlife refuge, State Parks and the great little towns of Davis and Thomas West Virginia. highly recommended!

This cabin is lovely. It is in a neighborhood, but it feels so private with beautiful views all around. There was plenty of space for our family. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the fireplace, and playing games in the basement. It was a quick drive into Berkeley Springs where there are plenty of restaurants and cute shops to wander around in. Sarah was a delightful host that kept in touch with us throughout our visit if we needed anything. I highly recommend a visit!

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin as the scenery was beautiful, the cabin was cozy and well suited for the number of guests we had, and overall it was a great experience! If you're planning to stay at Snowshoe, this is the house to be at! The heating throughout the house was uneven but it wasn't a huge issue. The shuttle system was great and was easy to use from the cabin and the wifi system had no issues. The common space was a great area for people to gather for fellowship!

Almost Heaven! Perfect home, perfect location for a family get-together. Bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and all needs will be met. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. Just bring food! The lake is crystal clear and beautiful, and tall trees cover the landscape. The deer, chipmunks, squirrels and birds are right outside the door. The firepit was our evening spot to gather and chat. And toast marshmallows. And even though the kids are in their 40's, they made s'mores! This is a place to revive your soul. I could stay here forever.

We arrived a bit early, expecting to have to wait to get in. We met Phil who is very helpful and accommodating. The new washer and dryer are high level machines. The rooms, location and view could not be better. This worked very well for a couple and 3 other adults. Highly recommended.

We all had an amazing time, perfect location for beginner and intermediate skiers. I would definitely repeat and recommend this place.

Great place to stay, had lots of fun and there was games provided. Wonderful that firewood was provided. Easiest and simplest checkout procedure.

The place is much more spacious than I expected! Perfect for a large group. Amazing views of the mountains and only a 5 minute walk to the mountain shuttle. We’ll definitely stay here again.

Top notch host! Very accommodative, very fast responses and very friendly. House has amazing views and is in a quiet, peaceful area. The house worked very well for 6 adults and 8 children. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at the Cookie Chalet! The mountain is gorgeous, and the view is exceptional. We loved enjoying the view from the hot tub! The cabin itself was very clean and very well-appointed. It had everything we needed and more. In particular, the kitchen was well stocked; we had everything we needed to cook at home. We experienced a power outage during our stay, but in less than a minute, the whole-house generator kicked on. Our hosts were easy to communicate with, and we thought it was a great value. Our poodle Coco also enjoyed having a cozy spot to snuggle up!

This house was perfect for our group that was in the area for an intimate wedding at Dolly Sods. Everyone was able to get comfy in the sunken living room and the views of the mountains are beautiful. Not just a place to visit during the snowy season! GPS takes you a little past the property, but we checked the map we were provided at check-in and got right there.
