We really enjoyed our stay, both for the excellent surroundings of the cottage but also itsloxat3 being central to the whole region. The cottage is a good size for a family and has everything you need. We will definitely be checking to see if it available the next time we are visiting the area

Lakeside Garden Retreat is one of the most memorable accommodation experiences we've had. The stunning garden is a true highlight, offering a peaceful and picturesque setting that made our three-night getaway unforgettable. We loved our walks around the lake and property. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Charles and Sally. We enjoyed being out on the deck, watching and listening to the abundant birdlife. Feeding the wrens from our hand was such a delight. Hudson, the resident golden retriever was friendly and we appreciated his daily visits to the deck. Every detail was thoughtfully attended to. The hosts’ personal touch created a warm and welcoming experience. Sally and Charles were friendly and their thoughtfulness in leaving milk, a bowl of fruit, home-baked biscuits, fresh eggs from their chicken and chocolates, was appreciated Thank you Sally and Charles for creating such a beautiful garden getaway and for being so welcoming to us. Will definitely be back.

My family and I stayed at Gerards for a week. absolutely beautiful furnishings and the most spaceous bedrooms with ultra comfy beds. fabulous location near Marg main street and serene, peaceful bush walks nearby. Highly recommended and amazing value for a home of its size. Audrey

Very cosy and comfortable chalet, loved looking into the trees on waking! Our 8yr old was stoked with the swings out front and our pup slept through both nights with the heat of the fireplace. Even had a visit from a cute little blue fairywren Great location for tiki touring Boranup Forrest and the 4wd tracks through Leeuwin National Park. Great stay thanks David!

We loved being nestled in the bush and having the feeling of being all alonewith nature. There is plenty to see and do in the area. The house was very quiet and the bush so pretty to look out on. Highly recommend for a relaxing get away.

Thank you Roger and Luda for being able to fit us in on short notice, the place was lovely. The kids loved waking up and going and saying good morning to the Chickens/Ducks and Geese. Very presentable and worth the trip.

Vielen Dank für diese tolle Zeit. Wir waren sehr gerne dort. Die Gegend ist mit Stränden und der Möglichkeit Kängurus und Rochen in der Nähe in freier Natur zu sehen ganz toll. Sehr schöne und geräumige Unterkunft, die Küche hat alles was man braucht. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen!

This is Julian’s wife. I am so happy with Karen’s place that I needed to use my husband’s account to express my appreciation for Karen and this chalet. It was clean, bed was comfy, location was just perfect to de-stress, and Karen was a wonderful host. Thoughtful touches such as providing us with sourdough, eggs, candle and bath salt are much appreciated. We will come back with our 2 daughters the next time we visit Margaret River.

What a lovely place! Extremely serene with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were greeted by firetails and robins and the frogs singing at night were beautiful! Would recommend a stay here for sure! Very comfy bed 😊

AMAZING!!!! I’m not even sure where to start. There were so many wonderful things about Ruse Estate.. i’m not even sure where to start.I could only describe it as Australian Tuscany. Surrounded by beautiful rolling vineyards. So quiet, you could hear a pin drop except for the kookaburra’s and various species of parrots singing in the background!!! if you’re looking for a quiet, unique stay, a little off the beaten path… This is the place for you!! We arrived with an early check-in that helped us out tremendously as we got there a little early. We had a wrench thrown into our weekend with some car trouble, Karen went above and beyond her host duties, and even called a personal friend to help us out, which we were able to fix and go on with our weekend! The Airbnb itself was modern and very clean, Big beautiful TV.. very comfortable bed, and we were delighted by the welcoming of freshly made sourdough bread made by Karen herself and a local bottle of wine!! Highly recommend!!! 100/10!💕

we had a lovely stay, the chalet remained cool on hot days and we enjoyed watching out onto the lake and all the birds. just a short drive to Pemberton centre with lots of food options, the tram and we enjoyed a walk around big brook dam. We had everything we needed

We stayed in Syrah Cottage and it was absolutely gorgeous. From the moment you walked in everything was so well organised with quality furnishings and finishes. Absolutely stunning. Loved the loaf of soughdough bread the farm fresh eggs and a bottle of wine. Karen and Lawrie are lovely hosts that are so proud and passionate of their property. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.

The chalet was exactly like the photos with beautiful views of the forest and dam nearby. Lia, Shane & the boys were very welcoming and we even picked up some knowledge about avocado farming and chicken caravans! Our 2.5yr old especially liked saying hello to the sheep and goat each morning and exploring the surrounding area.

Carmel was a great host, place was absolutely amazing, close to the beach and beautiful sights, I highly recommend this place.

Stayed only for one night. They have clean room and beautiful surrounding. Its easy to checkin and check out. Host has clear instruction and responsive.

Fantastic place to stay. The chalet was very clean and well kept. Everything worked well, the bbq was spotless and the few times I chatted to the staff they were all very down to earth and friendly. Would happily book there again.

Great place to stay if you want to take your dog with you on holidays.

What a gem of a place. The view was spectacular. The cabin was so clean compared to other places we have stayed. And the staff cleaning the cabin (one lady in particular should have gotten her name) were so lovely. Kids had a ball. We have booked again for next year already. The only very slight hiccup was our particular cabin couldn’t connect to wifi. Wasn’t necessarily a bad thing in my opinion to keep the kids off You Tube. Can’t wait to stay again!

we absolutely loved this little hidden gem . your off the beaten track away from the rat race but not to far of you need to pop into dongara for few essentials. Carmel was wonderful very friendly and welcoming. we spent the evening on the beach fishing watching the sunset . while the kids played in the sand . thanks for letting us stay in this wonderful place . we look forward to comeback
