lovely cozy beach place, almost directly at Scarborough's beautiful beach. we enjoyed it very much!

After week's of travel in Botswana with our 10 year old girls, Chris's bungalow and space was a mini oasis for our visit to Cape Town. The glorious setting, fabulous antiques, art, excellent kitchen, outdoor showers, wood-fired hot tub and having a million places to perch and just relax was near perfection. We were also so grateful to Chris for stocking the place with fresh fruit and other fabulous supplies that we didn't even really need to go out for food for a few days. We would recommend any of Chris's spaces to anyone who wants a home away from home with extra care, beauty and elegance.

Firstly, the pictures do not do this darling of a house justice! It is immaculate. We came for the weekend for my boyfriend’s 30th birthday and what a lovely time it is. Close enough to the beach and vibey places, but secluded enough that you can enjoy the peace serenity of the place. Karen was an amazing host! Very communicative, quick to respond and friendly.

We had a brilliant stay at this gorgeous property. It had beautiful views and is very convenient for the beach and city. We would definitely stay again. Host was super!

The view is something else. The place is neat and clean. Very little stairs. Enter in the small kitchen and two bedrooms on either side. Lovely little seating area with great size tv between the two bedrooms. Comfy sitting area with couch and two chairs and lovely dining room. Sun streams in. We actually wore sunglasses in the house in the mornings. We had a fantastic and comfortable time. Highly recommend for a small family. You can watch the kids on the beach from the porch. We saw dolphins and seals from the little house.

Wow such a special place! Spent the long weekend with some friends at Jane's place in Smits. Truly a wonderful experience. The house is really well equipped and well positioned within Smits. We spent our days cooking, walking and swimming. We will be back for sure.

Had a great stay with my family at Beata’s beach cottage! Peaceful and Friendly. A few steps and we were at the beach! My daughter was thrilled! Beata is a great host and her place was perfect for a family escape. Beata is always there when you need her but also gives you space to enjoy the space in peace. We truly appreciated her approach to hosting. Kommetjie is a hidden gem!

Had a great stay at Paddy's place. It had everything we needed. I'll definitely look to come back next time I'm in CT.

Fantastic beach side location with glorious sunset views in private cul desac. Walkable to the restaurants of Camps Bay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Beautiful, peaceful surroundings with plenty short trails to keep you and the dogs happy! The views from the hikes near Suikerbos cabin are breathtaking! The sink shack was well equipped with everything we needed and the hot tub came very handy for a dip after hiking in the heat. We have definitely added Kritplaas to our favorite spots. We will be back!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the area with ease. The hosts were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would love to come back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

What a wonderful experience! The cottage was so homely and peaceful, beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. You can definitely see the artist’s touch in Zelda’s work. It was an idyllic stay: house and garden beautiful, with easy walking access to beach, mountain walks and charming town and coffee shops. If we had a problem, hosts were friendly and immediately responsive. I’d come back in a heart-beat. It was likely the last vacation I’ll have with my 90 year old mother, and we’ll treasure the memory of this lovely welcoming place forever.
