It's the most beautiful and special AirBnB I've ever been to. As soon as you step inside, you'll feel right at home, with quirky touches, family pictures and books on every topic you can think of. The vinyl collection is pretty impressive too – the host clearly knows their stuff. We only stayed for one night, but it felt like we were staying with our favourite relatives and not in an Airbnb. Every room is super cosy and the garden is really amazing! And when you wake up in the morning and the first rays of sunlight are shining through the blinds, the birds are singing outside and you have just had a restful night in that comfortable bed, you do just like the hosts predicted – regret that you didn't book for a longer stay.

Nice house, which is located in a large garden. One of the major advantages: the house is located in between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. It is the ideal place from where to reach interesting destinations. The sundown shown in the image is real. In the garden on top of the hill, Liebrecht set up a wooden "sundown"-terrace with deckchairs.

Beautiful location and great hospitality. This place comes as advertised if you are looking for a relaxing stay in an area where there is plenty to do. While we didn't need much during our stay, Carin was available to help with anything needed and her place is gorgeous! Would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place just outside Franschoek!

We had a lovely stay at Hanepoot Cottage. Franschhoek is one of the most beautiful destinations in South Africa. Communication was easy and clear. The cottage is really great, situated in a colourful garden with exceptional views. Beds were very comfortable. Wish we could spent more time on the farm. I can recommend Rina’s place very highly!

Had a lovely weekend at Boskloof. The house is well equipped and functional, and matched perfectly with description and expectations. Beautiful countryside and great for stargazing.

Karin and Frikkie were welcoming hosts, and the cottage is on a beautiful working farm with views across the fields. Good for anyone wanting an uncomplicated and peaceful farm-style break.

Such a wonderful, peaceful weekend. Right by the river with a lovely deck to hang out on. Spacious lawn for the young adult to play games. Very private and restful. Thank you David, we will definitely make use of Marshall Farm again.

Total schönes Grundstück mit Antilopen vorm Haus und einem Garten. Waren nur eine Nacht da, hat sich aber gelohnt! Kleine Kritik es waren ein paar Insekten im Bad. Jedoch wahrscheinlich nicht zu vermeiden bei einem Bauernhof. Würde ich trotzdem nochmal buchen :) Die Gastgeberin wohnt neben an und ist total nett! Danke!

Beautiful house in a peaceful location looking over the vineyards and the mountains. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The wine tasting was really fun, as was hanging out by the pool with the dogs.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt und haben von hier aus das Kap wunderbar erkunden können. Im Biergarten hatten wir ein köstliches Abendessen und unsere Tochter war mit Spielplatz und Pferden vor dem Haus ebenfalls begeistert.

Absolutely outstanding stay - thank you Rene, and family, for being so hospitable and welcoming. Your farm is gorgeous - our kids loved seeing the animals and playing in the beautiful surroundings! The cottage is very stylish yet cosy and comfortable, and equipped with everything one might need. The farm feels wonderfully rural but is close to amenities and restaurants and not far off the N2 if anyone is looing for an overnight stay. Can't recommend it more!

Great for short stay while travelling through the Cederburg area. Not much to do apart from admiring the scenery around Citrusdal but Abre was helpful in advising where to stop for refreshment/shopping before check-in. Easy to find with instructions supplied for self-check in. Pleasant owners briefly met with my husband and were available to call upon if necessary. Good size apartment in stunning setting. Thoughtful fynbos arrangement and bowl of lemons on coffee table made us feel very welcome! Able to use braii as the sun set and relax in sitting room afterwards.

Our stay at Zelma's cute cottage in Calitzdorp was just what we needed to decompress and enjoy the nature that surrounded us. We had our kids with us - and they had a blast adventuring around, and we even got to meet their resident tortoise. We felt rejuvenated after our long weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the R62 drive home - which was spectacular. Be sure to stop off in Barrydale and Montague on the way home. Zelma, our host, was an absolute joy, and her adorable labrador, Fifi, made sure to come say hello daily. A wonderful stay! Thank you Zelma!

We stayed in the Kingfisher Cabin at Vrolikheid Landgoed in Tulbagh. Our host Ané was organized and kept us well-informed about everything we needed to know before arrival. Our cabin was super clean and comfortable and beautifully designed and decorated, to enjoy a peaceful, quiet and relaxing stay. We had everything we needed. When we arrived, there was already firewood in the braai and fireplace and hot tub, with a firelighter blitz already in place, making it very easy for us. Waking up for the beautiful sunrise with a coffee and sitting on the wooden deck, enjoying the views and trees, mountains and stunning landscape was unforgettable. Being summer, the weather at midday got quite warm, but we were so grateful for the cabin air-conditioning, which made our stay very pleasant and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the night sky light up with shining stars! Something out of a storybook! The hot tub was wonderful. We had a very peaceful, relaxing and restful experience. Amazing!!!

We were traveling with two young kids - the cottage was perfect, we had lots of space and privacy, horses and pigs provided endless entertainment, and lots of fun kids books and puzzles. Good proximity to beach, common, farm village and more. Host was very proactive and responsive.

We really enjoyed staying at Carol’s place! She was a warm and generous host - a very well equipped home and everything was comfortable and spotless. It was also very child friendly for our two boys! Easy access to beautiful beaches and lots of activities in the area. We hope to visit again soon!

Lucia’s cottage is a dream! Such an idyllic setting within the vineyard and the cottage itself is really spacious, comfortable and well-designed. We spent a week here and felt right at home! Lucia was a gracious host who let us check in early and check out late, and was super helpful and responsive in anything we needed throughout the week. Highly recommend, would absolutely love to come back and stay again!

We had the most relaxing stay at the Hatchery, we were constantly caught up between going out to explore the area and just wanting to rather stay at the farm and just enjoy the views of the Overberg Mountains. We enjoyed taking long walks around the farm, having a lekke braai, and even managed to build one of the puzzles provided in the home. It was a perfect week that flew by way too fast!

Fabulous place. An absolute gem at such a reasonable price too. Lovely touches as well. Definitely worth another visit.

Highly recommended for any group be it families with or without kids! We were a group of 4 adults and three kids (1,4,6) and had an amazing team in the house. I'd even say the pictures dont to justice to it, as the view which ranges from Capetown over the ocean and then to vinyards and the mountains is absolutely stunning. The pool was a nice refreshments and it nicely heats up throughout the day (water is heated via tubes on the roof). The kitchen has literally everything in terms of utensils etc. Bedrooms: 2/3 bedrooms can be darkened, one will always be bright in the morning. The Masterbedroom with large bathroom and walk-in dressing room/wardrobe was absolutely amazing Host: super flexible, Blaise even organised a baby chair and bed for the little one (didnt have one before but reacted quickly to our ask); Willie as the "on-site-host" is always super helpful and flexible. We had an aircon-issue one day and he instantly took care of it; always reachable on w-app/call

Een prachtig verblijf met een geweldig uitzicht. Heerlijke tuin en zwembad waar we van hebben genoten. Het huisje was nog mooier dan op de foto’s en een hele fijne uitvalbasis voor het wijngebied!

This has to be the best AirBnB we have ever stayed at. The architecture, the interior, the views and the contents of the home were remarkable. This is not just a 'stay', this is an experience not to be missed. Thank you for opening up your home to us Penny - we will most certainly be back! P.s we're already missing the delicious Syrah that is grown on the farm.

Place was charming, with a warm welcome from Teri. Extra touches in the house - homemade cottage cheese, olives and crackers were delicious. Great local restaurant recommendations, included booking one for us on a busy long weekend. Very grateful. Super stay.
