Il castello è il posto giusto se si vuole fare un salto nel passato e nel relax assoluto. La camera come da foto era ampia e confortevole, e la presenza del camino ha reso tutto più magico. Gisella è stata sempre presente e super precisa in ogni informazione. Purtroppo non è stato possibile incontrarci di persona. Anna ci ha accolti e ci ha fatto conoscere la bellezza del Castello, facendoci da Cicerone. Super consigliato

Wir haben die tolle Lage und die beeindruckende Aussicht sehr genossen. Der Pool und die vielen Extras haben unseren Aufenthalt wunderbar abgerundet. Kate und Nick waren sehr freundlich und entspannt, so dass wir uns sofort wohl fühlten. Alles in allem: Sehr empfehlenswert!

Fantastic location and a welcoming host. The kids loved staying in a castle. Cosy and had everything we needed for a short stay. A great base for lots of activities in the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Thirlestane Castle. The apartments are beautiful, antique furniture and paintings and everything very much top of the range. So much thought has been put into making your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible and everything is to hand. The standard of cleanliness is exceptional. The bed in the Sculleries apartment is so comfortable so we slept extremely well. We ordered a breakfast box which contained excellent produce from a local butcher . We were able to book a tour of the castle with guide Michael and this was very interesting and informative and highly recommended. The castle grounds are lovely and had the weather been better we would have followed one of the trails around the estate, which are clearly marked. We walked into Lauder, ( about 15 -20 mins ) which is a charming little town and has several options for food. Everybody we came into contact with from the initial booking onward were friendly and helpful . We can’t wait to return !

François nous a parfaitement accueilli dans son château. Le lieu est la fois beau et chaleureux. La cuisine est entièrement équipée, les salles de bain sont entièrement rénovés. En plein hiver, nous n’avons pas ressenti le froid grâce au chauffage général et aux cheminées. Je recommande vivement de venir y passer un week-end entre amis !

Cat's Castle was an absolute magical stay for myself and my family. The house and grounds were immaculate and so peaceful, & Paul and Gemma were so easy to communicate with. Everything about it was wonderful and we really enjoyed exploring the nearby towns!

Didn’t want to leave! My daughter was celebrating a special birthday with a Disney princess theme this year and asked if there was any way to stay at an Airbnb in the castle category. I didn’t know if I would be able to make her wish come true, but then I found Williamswood Castle. What an extraordinary experience! She didn’t know I had found a castle, and we surprised her. It was the best surprise ever! The castle is incredible. You would think you had gone back in time 1000 years. When you enter through the big wooden double doors, you enter another world. The huge medieval master bedroom is something to behold with the canopy bed and upstairs library. The appointments throughout the castle are in keeping with the medieval theme. We enjoyed breakfasts on the veranda overlooking the river and dinners at the big wooden dining table in the main room. Can’t say enough about this stay that will undoubtedly be one of our favorite family getaways.

Beautiful apartment. Very clean, comfy beds & quality linen. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you need. Just a 5 minute walk through the woods to Peebles. Supermarkets, bars & restaurants all nearby.

The property was exactly as described and surpassed our expectations. It was easy to find, the directions are spot on and Rose was very easy to communicate with. Early access was granted which was amazing. Every amenity listed was available and there was a lovely welcome tray with tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us. We would love to book again, we loved the place. Thank you!

Great location to family in Clarksburg. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 2 children. Beautiful land and great historic house. Would definitely recommend! Jim was always responsive and answered questions promptly.

Nous avons eu ce que nous cherchions, et plus. Le "loft" proposé par Jeff est une ancienne grange superbement rénovée, appartenant au domaine du château. Le logis est sur 2 niveaux et la pièce de séjour conserve toute la hauteur de plafond, avec des murs en pierres blanches au style traditionnel de la région, et une cheminée plus contemporaine et sobre. Tout est fait et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, si bien que de quelque côté que l'on se tourne, ou dans le champ de vision, des livres, de belles assiettes au mur, des lumières chaleureuses, le sol dallé, buffets et tables, tout donne une impression esthétique très satisfaisante. C'est très important pour nous chez un Airbnb ou autre, et c'est rare, surtout si on y passe beaucoup de temps comme en hiver. Le logement est bien chauffé, ce qui est très appréciable dans une ancienne bâtisse. A l'étage, l'ensemble chambre, salle de bain et petit coin "nid de pigeon" sont très agréables. Cuisine simple et fonctionnelle. Super rando à côté.

Lovely flat in one of the wing of a beautiful castle. The flat is very spacious , with beautiful views in a very quiet place. lovley to start some nice walks. The Isle of Mull has a lot on offer: standing stones, cafes, distillery, a munro to climb and beautiful beaches. so no time to get bored! I'd thoroughly recommend this accommodation. Thank you!

Such a lovely little castle. Super cosy place with everything you need for a weekend of peace and relaxation. The hot tub was fantastic and really private. Would recommend this place to everyone and I hope to get the opportunity to go back! Julie and Toby really went the extra mile with a breakfast basket and selection of snacks, along with some lovely personal touches to make the stay feel all that more special!

It was and incredibly beautiful experience and so special for us! The place is not only super Beautiful but also calm and peaceful with an amazing atmosphere. Joris was so nice and helped us with everything! The pool is stunning!!! Also the bedrooms and the bathroom inside is so special. The villa is the best getaway to relax and be in nature and also to feel special & royal ;) I’ll definitely come back!!!

Great place to stay. Host was making a fire ready for us when we arrived. Absolutely quirky castle and a great place to stay. Cold at first but warmed up lovely. Beds comfy and enjoyed the break. Will definitely look to stay again when we visit our friends in Abergele. Thank you

This was our second stay at Frogg Cottage, and we felt completely at home from the moment we arrived. Everything is anticipated by the hosts, it's the most perfect place for peace and quiet, and we're already looking forward to a third visit. Thanks again, Sarah and Andy.

We wanted something peaceful and in the countryside and this was perfect. A little town nearby for a wander round and a good pub for a nice meal at The Raven. The log burner was a great feature for us too to be able to sit and chat and relax in the evening. If you want to get away from your everyday routine modern life this will be as perfect for you as it was for us. Also the hosts responded quickly and were really friendly and helpful.

Adnan's place met our needs very well and we enjoyed our stay! In particular, we felt the kitchen was very well stocked and easy to use. We ran into one issue with a door becoming locked, and the host was quick to come and resolve the problem -- however, it seemed like it could have been prevented by having a small sign explaining old house quirks and how to avoid such situations. The pictures represent the house well, would recommend!

Love the place! Great for families! We did our family gathering and was spacious for all. Loved that all the rooms had their own full bathroom. The rooftop was great to chill. The only thing was that the oven didn’t work while we were there, HOWEVER Claribel DID provide for enough tanks of propane for the grill, so that worked for us. Otherwise, it was just great. Will love to stay there again.
