A rustic cabin in the woods for some R and R was what we had hoped for…and we got it! Beautiful wood beams. So nice to have a private bathroom, as well as a window unit for heat and A/C. The shared kitchen was less than 50 feet away and had all the cooking vessels, utensils and cookware to make a meal. But we loved going to cafe! Barbara and her team served up delicious meals.

Beautiful place! Was a great small size even with a small toddler; her pack and play fit with plenty of space for two dog beds also in the bedroom!

Perfect place to get away from the city for few days and enjoy peace and quiet. The hot tub was a tremendous joy during the cold winter days we spent here and we sometimes jumped in a few times per day. Kitchen was great for preparing simple meals, although we did pop in to Gettysburg (15 min away) for a night out. I was also remote working for part of the time and the wifi was completely up to handling video conference calls. We look forward to coming back soon!

We loved our visit at Sarah’s, hadn’t stayed in a rustic cabin for a few decades, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our goal was Harper’s Ferry, and the drive was easy. Her restaurant recommendations were perfect

Gerry’s place is just what I needed to disconnect. Close to some good hiking and outdoor activities. The place itself has everything you need for a short peaceful stay. Gerry himself was very welcoming and hospitable. I loved this place. I will definitely favorite to go back sometime.

Great host and very clean home. Luray is a cute town. Ate out at Rancho Viejo, which was yummy.

If you're looking for a place to unwind and disconnect, this is it! It's perfect to be in nature and relax while spending time next to the river. The yurt was so cozy and comfortable, that is, make sure you have food with you since there isn't a kitchen, definitely a great glamping spot!

I had a wonderful weekend at Al's place. The cabin was perfect for my peaceful time in Frostburg and surrounding areas. The hosts were informative and provided areas to see the sunset and sunrises. It was too cold to use the pool but the offer was there. I will be back.

The cabin was just what we were looking for. Great space to get away if you want to explore northern Virginia and the Shenandoah area. Eugene was helpful and very responsive, and the cabin was super clean with very nice amenities. The view from the deck alone was worth the price!

Beautiful, clean, and cozy place that put us right in the headspace we needed. House was impeccably stocked (brought more than we needed for a weekend stay) and spotlessly clean. Responsive host, lovely property, and plenty to do around the area. Thank you for the hospitality!

The dome experience was perfect. It was peaceful and offered just the right amount of glamping mixed with a gorgeous view. We enjoyed cooking on the Blackstone, relaxing in the hot tub after hiking, lounging in the comfy chairs, and sitting by the fire. Dome offered a wonderful view and maintained the perfect temperature. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thanks for the perfect getaway.

We had a wonderful stay! The place was peaceful and cozy. We enjoyed exploring the nearby breweries and wineries. It was the perfect place to stay for a wedding in the area.

This was a perfect overnight getaway: Bryon was a very responsive and attentive host. The only bedroom was in a loft and was very cozy. We didn’t get a chance to use it but the sauna was a nice addition.

Perfect compliment to an evening at the Three Blacksmiths! This is the second time we have stayed here while dining at the Three Blacksmiths, which is only about a 2 min walk. And in the morning, the coffee shop next door is outstanding. The cottage is very cute and well appointed. The only issue we had is that when it is extremely windy, the roof rattles but that is to be expected with such an old building. It is a perfect little night away from northern Virginia!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! Everything was exactly as described and pictured. The space is beautifully designed and the hosts, Jeff and Sam have thought of every tiny detail to make sure that their guests are comfortable. All was simply top notch! Thank you so much! We stayed in the Hob over the weekend. It was rustic, but clean and cozy. It was close enough to restaurants, and there is plenty to do in the area. They recommended Pine Lodge for steak and it was delicious! Very kind hosts and enjoyable to talk too, as well😊

The place was awesome, clean, and beautiful. We went on a few hikes around the property, and one to a lookout spot nearby. So much to see and do around there. Levi even took the kids up to checkout the fish farm and they loved it. We'll definitely be staying again.

My friends and I stayed President’s day weekend. The cabin is relatively remote but the kitchen was fully stocked for when we cooked, the rooms were comfy and the fireplace was super nice. Berkeley springs is near by and I can’t recommend the hot springs enough - appointments are usually needed. Sean was a great host and was always fast to answer any questions. Overall, we had an amazing time.

We enjoyed staying at Sandi’s place! She was very communicative and friendly. The place conveniently located near town and the countryside. We were quite cozy!

My wife and I had an amazing time relaxing and visiting the local wineries and restaurants. Sarah was an amazing, responsive, and accommodating host who made sure any and all needs we had were taken care of. We are looking forward to returning.
