Gorgeous views, great location, the hot water was actually hot (unlike other Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in), the hot tub was ready to go, the host left us snacks. It was just such a wonderful experience. We will be coming back. If I had to pick ANY cons, I’d be really reaching. You are one of four yurts (we didn’t realize we would have “neighbors” but it’s set up in such a way that you still have privacy.). Also, you are close to the road so occasionally you will hear cars, but the sound of the river much overpowers that. Plan for no reception; we were fine with that. We plan to come back again with 2 more couples. I will definitely miss falling asleep to the sound of the river Now, what I wish I would have known as a car geek - we accidentally went through Tail of the Dragon on the way there. Had no idea it was here. Was sad to have a big ole SUV riding that instead of my sports car! Plan accordingly. :)

Absolutely loved this unique place! So peaceful and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces just as much as the inside. It was quiet and clean and just a great place to unwind. Rosa was super helpful. We definitely plan to be back!

Communication was great and the folks at Seven Springs were wonderful to interact with. We appreciated a quiet refuge to escape to and their great local recommendations for hiking and beverages.

This was my third (of many more to come) stay at the Heart Center - and specifically in one of the Mongolian yurts. It is just what you're hoping for and more. Liz is an amazing host and makes sure your stay is comfortable and peaceful. Evenings by the main fire pit on the shared level are a great way to recount the events of the day and make plans for the next -- all under the gorgeous, starry skies of western NC!

Loved this cozy cabin! Easy walk to the ski resort, & coffee shop. Perfect size for our family of 3 adults and our fur baby. Cabin was super close to the ski resort and centrally located to every restaurant, coffee shop & store we had on our bucket list to visit in Beech Mountain. . The view & sound of the creek was an added bonus . The gated wrap around deck / porch was my fav part of the cabin. Check in was a breeze and hosts were super detailed with directions & instructions . Hosts had super clear communication and gave fantastic local recommendations. 10 out of 10 recommend & hoping to book again for next year’s trip!

Enjoyed our visit overall. It was a tad noisy with the road but the yurt itself was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay.

Anne’s yurt provided a beautiful setting for some relaxing glamping. Would highly recommend, and would love to return again!

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The home looks exactly like the pictures—clean, cozy, and full of fun for kids. Our three (ages 10, 5, and 2) loved the indoor slide, arcade room, and board games in the loft. The bunkbed room was a bit cold and near the back door, so our little ones felt uneasy sleeping there. It’s probably better suited for older kids or adults. The kitchen had everything we needed—just don’t forget to stop for groceries ahead of time! The hot tub was a favorite. It felt a little spooky at night, but once the sun came up, we could clearly see it’s fully fenced and secure. Showers had decent pressure; I recommend bringing your own toiletries. Check-in/out was super easy with clear instructions. I messaged a couple of questions during our stay but didn’t get a reply—nothing urgent, and I found the answers online. For reference, (according to Google) the tap water is safe to drink and the community center pool closes at 8. Overall, a great stay for families. :D

We really enjoyed our stay here and kept talking about how perfect the space was for two people. Everything was designed and decorated well. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, hot tub, and grill. It’s an easy 15-minute drive into Asheville. Also, I left my laptop when we checked out and they were super responsive, found it, and sent it back to me overnight. I’m very grateful for that effort. Definitely recommend booking this place.

Dana & Kristen’s place is an absolute gem. The yurt and surrounding farm are lovely. And they are the most amazing, thoughtful hosts. We can’t wait to visit again.

When I read the description on the website, I doubted that it was that great. It was that GREAT! It rained every day, but the place was so peaceful, we didn't care. We cooked on the grill and ate most of our meals on the deck. We look forward to another visit.

A cute and unique place to stay close to downtown AVL and lots of charming shops and restaurants in West Asheville.

this was our third year in a row staying at the Bluebird Yurt and we plan to return next year! Paola is always so kind, helpful and responsive and the space is just what we need for a fun and relaxing birthday celebration

We enjoyed our stay in the Yurt. The bed was good, with plenty of blankets for a chilly night. You need to go outside the Yurt to get to the bathroom, but it is close, on the platform, and private.

This is by far my favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in. It is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and exceeded our expectations. It’s easy to find as long as you follow their directions! Would love to visit again!

This place is truly spectacular. Stunning views and extremely peaceful. We only had time to stay for one night, but wish we could've stayed longer. This was our first time staying in a yurt and it exceeded our expectations. The place was exceptionally clean and cozy. Arson was an excellent host and was very responsive and provided clear instructions on how to get to the yurt. Would highly recommend this place to any of our friends or family!

A must experience Airbnb! The yurt was cozy and had all the comforts of home. Glamping at it's finest. Full bathroom, outdoor kitchen (grill, sink, tables) and AC! The property is so cute. A creek and garden and plenty of trees for your hammock. I loved it here and will definitely be back. Also really loved that staying here supports a nonprofit organization to help children with cancer. Lots of hiking near by and the Folk School is 3 minutes down the road, also close to all the lakes and rivers. If you are thinking of booking, do it!

We love Roamstead! We'll be back again when hiking in the area. The location is ideal for hiking in the Smoky Mtns. or if you just want to relax on site. They have everything you need in one place.

The yurt was very peaceful and put together well. A little chilly, but that’s all part of the experience! There were crystals everywhere which was a cool touch- also the hammock was very comfortable it was an envoy. Maybe just add one more heater! It was still cozy and they had an electric blanket and one heater which was nice. The gas grill was great too.

We stayed here the night before heading out on the AT. Great location close to the NOC. We checked in late after dark. The place was amazing. Wonderful experience and so relaxing. We woke up the next morning to a beautiful view out the front door. We will be back.

Yurt life is an experience. Surprisingly comfortable and cosy in the colder months. Our dogs enjoyed the open spaces around the yurt. Highly recommend!

Very nice and unique place. My niece and I had fun sitting outside and watching the deer on the hammock chairs they have. I go to Beech Mountain twice a year but this time it was just me and my niece and not the entire family so it was nice to stay in a smaller place it was nice and cozy. Host was very responsive For a question I had And I appreciate that.
