Karin and her Airbnb were amazing! Karin greeted us and was so welcoming and kind. She left some local fruit, granola bars, and coffee for us. She even got a lime tart dessert made for my partners birthday! The Airbnb itself is so cute and cozy, the perfect spot for a couple or solo traveler. The location itself is also great! It was surrounded by beautiful trees and the town of Trinidad itself is very cute, close to the parks, and close to both Arcata and Eureka. I definitely recommend staying here, it was cute, clean, and Karin was so great!

The location was perfect and within walking distance from everything. The beach, the stores or the restaurants. I loved being so close to the coffee shop and being able to stop in for a quick breakfast before starting our day. I felt like the pictures didn’t do justice to the place and was pleasantly surprised when we checked in. The private alley made us feel secluded even though we were centrally located. All the local art inside was a nice added touch. We definitely recommend and will be back.

Very impressed, extremely clean, all amenities had been thought of. Beds, so comfortable. Cut my finger and there were bandages. Towels were so nice. We were very impressed overall. Not one thing to complain about. If we owned an Air B&B we would only hope it was this nice. Truly a great place. Plan on staying again.

The location was perfect, close to the giants redwoods which is the reason for our vacation. The house was quiet, clean and peaceful. We enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend (host's Phillip Patricia ) and their property highly enough.

We enjoyed this spot, a relaxing getaway for my family. Hot tub was a hit and beach walk was lovely. The beds were very cozy and comfortable too!

Lovely home in a great location! We enjoyed our stay at Mona & Jeff's place. Check in was a breeze and great communication from the hosts. Perfect location! The home was close to so many restaurants and things to do. We were able to walk to everything. Our main focus of our trip was to visit the Redwood National Park and the house was the perfect place to do so. The house was clean and cozy! Large kitchen with everything needed. Coffees and teas provided was a very nice touch. Soft towels and bedding was a major plus. Very friendly neighbors as well. Mona & Jeff responded to messages quickly and even offered to come by to show us how a few things work; much appreciated! We highly recommend staying!

My family and I enjoyed our Christmas vacation. It was a home away from home. I was raised in the same neighborhood, so there was no need for recommendations. We will definitely be back in 2025. Thank you for your hospitality.

Staying at this home was great for our family of six. House was as described and comfortable. I was a little nervous with an older home that all six of us showering in the evening would result in cold showers but we never ran out of hot water!

Pilot Rock Cottage was a perfect destination and Steve was a wonderful host! The cottage was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Very comfortable. Terrific view of Trinidad Bay from the front windows and porch! Walking distance to restaurants and hiking trails. Easy launching point to visit other attractions in the area. We would love to stay there again!

Erin was a great communicator so I had no trouble finding the house or where to park. The private gated yard was fantastic for my dog. It was raining my whole stay so I appreciated the wood chips in the yard so that my dog's feet didn't get too muddy each time she went in and out and also I loved the covered porch from which I could watch the dog in the yard without getting soaked. The fencing around the yard was strong enough and high enough even for my big escape artist dog. Inside was very cute and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of open space to set my dog's crate up. The shower had a strong stream of hot water. I loved the convenience of the washing machine and dryer. There was a full size refrigerator and stove to make meal preparation easy. There is a trail along Jane's Creek at the end of the road that is a beautiful place to walk! Great place!
