Went for a child free trip away from the hustle of city life for the weekend. The cottage was a very relaxing, quiet, and overall enjoyable experience! Went geocaching, met some wonderful townspeople. My dogs loved the walks along the quiet road. Emily was fantastic to deal with in every aspect 😊

Had an amazing stay despite the weather! Woke up to a beautiful morning and they wanted us to enjoy it so told us no rush to leave stay as late as we wanted! Very friendly, easy to talk too! Would recommend very highly! Will be back for sure!

The property was exactly as advertised , the pictures online made the living room look small and I was quite surprised how big it was inside. Very well laid out . This is a new venture for there family and they nailed it out of the gate … I did not know them prior to our stay and my wife and I run a 22 bed bnb .. we loved it as we ran away to get a break from our customers … Will def recommend and be bck . Enjoyed our stay very much. The house easily accommodated our group of 12. We traveled there for a weekend of ice fishing , and weren’t disappointed. Quick access to the lake, beautiful area. Would definitely return.

We stayed at Jean's place for a family Christmas gathering. The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our family. Jean is an exceptional host and ensured all the details were perfect including plenty of chopped wood, a Christmas tree and decorated home. The kitchen was well equipped for everything we needed to make a turkey dinner. We will definitely be coming back again.

Amazing place, we even extended for another day! Our family love staying in cabin and the photos don’t do justice for what we had in Meli’s place. My almost 2 yrs old daughter enjoyed it very much. She provided extra stuff for her as well! The place is very cozy too. We spend a lot of time outdoor, at night we gather in the living/dining area. When we went there, that week was very hot, but the provided fans helped a lot. At night, it can be breezy so not a problem for sleeping too. We set up an inflatable pool and tent for our daughter to experience. It was so much fun! The place is huge to be able to do a lot of things. One hop and it’s the park which is not busy at all. It leads to the lake for boat launching only. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience, we are keeping this on our list of places to go back to. Thanks Meli and to your husband as well! I did about ex extended stay of about three weeks, and during my time there it felt like I was at home. I was even able to add on a few days as my possession date was pushed. Taylor was understanding, compassionate, and practical with her solutions. Location itself was beautiful, on a pristine, quiet lake way in the country which is just what I needed during my stressful move to Alberta.
