This place is adorable! And it's right on the water! The space is well appointed and well designed with high-end touches. The bed was comfy, too. I'd highly recommend this apartment for couples who are looking for a quiet getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s. It was the perfect space to relax to after a long day of fossil hunting. We especially loved the big comfy couch! We made use of the kitchen and it was perfectly stocked with everything we needed to prep our light dinner. While the sunrise did not line up with the cove on our visit, we were delighted to see a deer walking on the sandbar as well as geese swimming across the cove. Like others have stated, the cookies were a perfect sweet treat for our stay in this lovely little retreat!

Megan's place was right near the harbor in St. Leonard and we had a beautiful night to explore it and enjoy sitting out on the deck. My whole family all slept like a rock in the comfortable beds!

This is a review for Darrell's other attached property, the one bedroom. I got upgraded to it after Darrell notified me before my stay that there was going to be maintenance in the studio. The one bedroom fit the vibe of a couple's weekend getaway. But as solo traveler I still enjoyed the apartment. The Amtrak and freight trains did not bother me on Saturday and Sunday. But on Monday morning when the VRE operated, its horn work me up early in the morning. However, being close to the train station was very convenient. I took the Amtrak to town and then did not have far to walk after a long travel day. The "convenient" aspect of the apartment was very true when I was able to walk to anywhere I wanted to eat. Thanks for a great stay!

We love staying at Lori's! This is our 3rd stay with her. she's a wonderful host. Everything is exactly as described. We love watching the eagles and the deer right from the back yard. Highly recommend this bnb!

Beautiful place, makes you feel right at home. The property is beautiful. Really enjoyed the night outside. The kitchen and bathroom had everything you need. Definitely a place I would love to return to. Melanie was a great host. Gave us all the privacy, couldn't even tell she was there. Clear instructions coming in and a warmth goodbye when we were leaving.

We've stayed in this area several times and David and Johanna's property was the most secluded with the additional of a large yard, tidal pond, small private beach area and new dock. The beds and linens were great and the heating system top notch since we were there when a cold front came through. The kitchen was the best stocked we've seen and we had everything we needed for a Thanksgiving meal. It is clear that the home still has a few renovations in the works but nothing that prevented us from enjoying our stay.

This place is wonderful! Awesome views and wildlife! So quiet you can hear the birds wings flap in the air. Host was very responsive and we Definitely will return.

Kimberley was a great host and her place was SUPER clean and very comfortable. Everything is new and updated and nicely decorated. I was there alone and felt safe. The weekend I stayed it was pouring rain and parking was tricky if you had a guest over. Kim explained parking but I was not aware that my visitor parked in wrong spot and my guest left a divot which upset neighbor. (Understandable) just need to be more aware of parking situation. Especially in the rain! I would definitely stay at the Villa again. I am returning in a month a am sad I can’t stay at the villa since it’s booked. We had an amazing stay at this riverside house! The views were absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The house was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Being so close to the water made it feel like a peaceful retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and enjoy nature!

My wife and I came into town to visit family members that lives on the same street as this Airbnb. This place was perfect for our needs! Nice and cozy, tastefully, decorated, clean, and well set up. Getting in and out was a breeze. The instructions for arrival and leaving were crystal clear and communication was timely. Also, the Wi-Fi worked great! If we return to Colonial Beach in the future, we will check first to see if this home is available! We highly recommend this house

This lovely Colonial Beach house was the perfect spot for my birthday celebration! The home was absolutely charming and styled perfectly for a beach escape. It had everything you’d need as a guest, which made the stay super comfortable. The huge yard that wrapped all the way around the house was amazing—especially for my dogs to run and play. And to top it all off, the private dock just across the way provided peaceful, relaxing moments by the water. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
