It’s hard to beat the views from the Ocean Manor . The amenities are phenomenal Casa Calabria and the Tiki Bar both have exceptional food always consistent. Everybody is happy friendly. The service is always excellent Samantha does a great job accommodating you too. You won’t go wrong staying there.

Clean, pleasant. Just a warning, no matter what the resort offers you to take the 90 minute time share presentation, just say no thank you. They promise it will be no pressure and a maximum of 90 minutes. Don’t do it!! It is highly pressure sales and when you say no thank you they get nasty and make you feel like your are wrong to say no and you wasted THEIR time when is is 2 hours of YOUR vacation that they took from you!!

The penthouse was huge and beautiful. The place was updated and looked better than the photos. Minor hiccup at check in but they fixed it within half hour. Spectacular view of the ocean and beach. Huge balcony/deck. This penthouse had room service which was unexpectedly great. Definitely would stay here again. Michael and the staff were super helpful throughout the process and stay.

I stayed for two days and one night. Overall was good, went to the spa and the beach.

Definitely would come back!!!!

Location, location, location! If you are looking for somewhere they you can sit in your room all day in comfort and style, this isn't your place. It has the necessary amenities to sleep, shower, and snack. The beach, the ocean and the nearby restaurants and activities will keep you from even thinking about spend more time than necessary in three room. Unless your have a room with a view (which I recommend) that you can see the ocean, there's not much reason to stay in the room anyway. Yes, it needs some updating, but the value for the location is a great deal. Several restaurants within a 10 walk and several more within 15 minutes. Highly recommend Oceanic and the Beach house, and Kaluz is a 10-15 minute drive toward Ft. Lauderdale. There is a public transit shuttle that works a little like a free Uber, but definitely tip your driver; download the app called Circuit and it will have all the details. We used that to get back from getting groceries at Publix. No car is necessary for a nice relaxing stay in this area. We flew into Ft. Lauderdale, took an Uber to Ebbtide (about $35), walked everywhere, used the shuttle once, took an Uber Ft Lauderdale for dinner and back ($10/ trip) and Uber back to airport. So approximately $100 total for Uber, cost of rental car would have been over $400. Definitely plan to visit again.

Very nice property-- Fontainebleau is a great place for all ages. The unit was beautiful. Very spacious and well worth the cost. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Can't say enough about this place. It was absolutely incredible. The staff at the Beachcomber were so nice, the property/amenities were pristine, and the location was ideal. We did rent a car so we could drive to the grocery store, restaurants, etc., but Ubering would have been totally doable too. Stay here, don't hesitate!

The property and our place were both great!! The suite was VERY clean and true to the pictures! The checkin process was super easy and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Christian was very prompt with his communication! I would highly recommend and definitely stay there again!

The resort was nice and felt like a big of an oasis. The room was as advertised. Everything was neat and clean. We were surprised to find a mini fridge in the room. There was plenty of storage space. The linens were lovely and the bed was comfortable. We asked one morning for our towels to be changed and trash to be taken. Both of which were done promptly. There were lots of restaurants just a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. The beach was beautiful and there were umbrellas and chairs set up for guests. Cold water, beach towels and ice were always available. The two pools are very nice. There is a laundromat across the street. The only down side was that the window in the room does not open and the people working at the desk were not able to give us much info about anything outside the resort. However, everyone working there was professional and friendly. We had a wonderful time.

Finding the Beachcomber on Airbnb was a blessing to us! We traveled there for medical appointments & were unfamiliar with the area. The Beachcomber is in a great location with beautiful grounds. You feel like you are at a tropical island resort! Everyone was very nice and helpful, parking was good (the valet parking made it easy when first arriving), but it was also easy to park the car on our own in the dedicated lot. We arrived earlier than expected & were able to get in to the room earlier, so that was great! While we didn't have a balcony or beach view, the room was wonderful and great for my daughter and I. It is a really nice value for 2 people at a nice hotel right on the beach. The pools were nice & the beach was great and easy to access. It was also a bonus that the beach was not too crowded & that the resort provided beach towels and chairs. Not sure how they did it, but It smelled great throughout the lobby & hallways. Would stay here again if in the area!

Great mid-sized resort hotel on the beach in Pompano. It had been renovated recently and is in excellent shape. Want to spend some quality time on the beach with chairs, towels and umbrellas provided, this is a great place for that. Also nice a nice seaside restaurant in a large Tiki hut called "Deep" and a nice little Tiki Hut Bar and beautiful pool as well. The room was particularly nice and also had been recently renovated. Valet Parking for $10 a night is a deal and the valet's themselves work hard and are very friendly. Overall : 2 thumbs up!

We rented the 2 linked apartments and had a great time. Chris was very responsive with any questions or concerns, and was very accommodating during our stay. The place was clean, and very spacious as well. Couple things to note though are 2 of the bedrooms don't have floor to ceiling walls (can see the lattice at the top of the walls in the pictures), so if privacy is important or you have light sleepers in the group just keep that in mind. Also, for the private beach they don't allow you to bring your own chairs (can rent for the day for only $10 though) or coolers (essentially make you buy drinks at the tiki bar). Overall its a great rental for a large group and in a very nice area.

Hailey does a remarkable job of communicating the process and responding to any issues that come up before or during the stay.

I’ve stayed at the Marriott BeachPlace Towers two other times in the past, and it’s always been a good experience. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. Once you arrive, it really is like dealing directly with the hotel for anything you need. The rooms have undergone minor renovations and look nice. Two negatives: #1 getting Ubers/Lyfts inside the parking garage to drop you off or pick you up. Signage isn’t super clear and they don’t like to go into garages because they’re scared they have to pay to (they don’t if it’s under 10 min). #2 the four elevators are shared between all 19 floors of the hotel and the public parking garage levels, so they are very slow sometimes. All that being said, I definitely recommend this property!

Was disappointed when we thought we had 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. We thought the pictures were misrepresneting

Christian was great to work with! He answered any and all questions we had regarding our stay almost immediately and was flexible when we had to alter our dates. I would highly recommend working with him and staying at Marriott BeachPlace!

Great stay, clean and exactly like the photos. Only downside was at check-in. I arrived early, room wasn't ready and I had to wait to drop off my bags at front desk because my reservation wasn't in the system yet because host did not push it through to the hotel system. It took about total 90mins to get in touch with host and resolve. Room was ready by 4pm check-in time.

Great location for a very busy event we attended. We’ve rented from Haley before and would again. Easy process and great communication.
