This apartment adjacent to the family home is the perfect place to spend a few days exploring the local area. The semi rural neighbourhood is whisper quiet while allowing easy access to the surrounding towns with the use of a car. Barb has made every effort to ensure the comfort of her guests with homely touches, attention to detail and meticulous cleaning. The well equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals with a full size refrigerator and dishwasher. The king sized bed is comfortable and furnished with pristine linen and generous pillows. The modern bathroom has plentiful hot water and supplies and there is a large laundry for the use of guests. Barb and Daniel were most welcoming when we met. We feel fortunate to have met them and are so grateful for their generous hospitality.

Comfortable and cozy apartment - perfect for two. The space was very clean with thoughtful touches throughout.the location was perfect we loved walking to get breakfast and dinner. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location and place to stay and plan to stay again!

Barbara's place was exactly what I needed for a Wilmington getaway as a solo traveler on foot. A short cab ride from Amtrak station to a beautiful block in a diverse neighborhood (rainbow and patriotic flags), very walkable to food halls, nice restaurants, local parks, historical sights, enjoy downtown Wilmington while feeling at home in your own space. You have access to a private nicely lit backyard with umbrella and seating area if you want to chill outside at night or get some air without leaving the space. All amenities were as listed, the bed was big and cozy, bathroom super clean w a shower head that lights up (cool) and the nice touches are snacks/goodies and bottles of water really helped. A great value and one I'd come back to, the icing on the cake is Barbara as a host is very kind and accomodating, there if you need her but also leaves you to enjoy your stay. 5 stars.

Amazing place, super cozy and beautiful inside. The location is great, really close to everything but backs right up to the woods so it feels really peaceful and private. Skeitha was so chill and nice! I definitely want to be back

This was my second time staying here, and it is one of my favorites! The house is beautiful and charming, and had everything we needed for a cozy weekend. Great kitchen for preparing meals, plenty of space for dining and the bedrooms were exactly what our group of 5 needed.

Lisa’s guest house was amazing. Our trip was short but we felt right at home. The farm and property are beautiful and a sight to see in person. The animals are friendly and spoiled with love ! Lisa left us baked goods , fresh eggs , milk , juice and yogurts in the kitchen and everything was delicious 10/10 . The home was clean and filled with so much charm. We will be back. Highly recommended!

Excellent stay! Super clean, tons of personality in this home. Truly one of the coolest Airbnbs we have ever stayed in. Tons of space, great for larger groups. My toddler loved exploring every book and cranny of the space, which was great since the weather was rainy and we had to stay inside. That said, huge yard with a fire pit and kids slide that we'll have to enjoy next time. Host was extremely responsive and kind. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We had a great time.

My family and I had an amazing time at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, cozy and exactly as described. We loved the hot tub — it was clean, private and the perfect way to relax. The hosts were super responsive and made check- in super easy. I’ll definitely be coming back!

This cottage is a lovely place to stay, had everything we needed and the coffee bar was wonderful :) The location is absolutely beautiful and very quiet. Stores, restaurants and Longwood Gardens are within short driving distance. We highly recommend Nicki's cottage.

I cannot say enough beautiful things about this place and the hosts. Logan and Lou were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The property itself is serene and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway. We explored the beautiful perkiomen trails- with great bikes provided by Lou and Logan. The fitness centre was amazing, not to mention the spectacular views. The Mill itself is absolutely gorgeous! The air bnb was perfect, so cozy and clean. You have everything you could possibly need and want. We had a beautiful fire one night and enjoyed the stars in the sky. One of the best parts of this property is the constant sound of the river, I highly recommend leaving the windows open and enjoying the constant flow of the river. It was spectacular!! We will definitely be back, I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Truly one of the best Air bnb’s I’ve stayed at, and Lou and Logan go above and beyond to ensure our stay was magical! The house and hosts were amazing! They were very flexible with our check in time and were both easy to reach. The house and backyard are perfect and plenty spacious! Would definitely stay here again!

Gosh, we always enjoy staying here. Glenn and Kelly are such responsive and gracious hosts. This is our third stay here and they are a big reason for that. Of course, the biggest reason is that the house is so great and always fits our needs. Kennett Square is a a family site for us so very convenient to visit from this house. Also a quick drive to the airport. I really can't imagine I'd want to stay anywhere else when I'm in the area. In fact, we'd probably change our dates to get this house if it wasn't available when we want it in the future!

A great spot for a weekend away! Walking distance to many restaurants & the convenience of coming and going is very nice. It is a little noisy if someone is staying upstairs so the sound machines are very helpful, much appreciated from the host!

Elegantly decorated and well stocked with cute little touches, in a quiet safe neighborhood, convenient hassle-less street parking. -30 mins to Longwood Gardens, friendly and super-responsive hosts.

Nikhil's place is great! Amazing location for anything going on in downtown Wilmington. Very comfortable and Nikhil was very communicative.

Great location with coffee shops, restaurants and stores nearby. Plenty of street parking and easy access to other neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Kristen is a great host and responded to questions right away. My husband and I were in Philadelphia for my son’s birthday, would stay at Kristen’s place on a future visit.

If you’re seeking artistic inspiration, look no further. Hopewell is a wonderful little historic town with a lot to see; my only regret was that I didn’t bring my professional camera. At night, close the blinds, sink into the wonderful bed, and wake up feeling positively rejuvenated. Thank you, Susan!

We were in town for a weekend and loved our stay at Christina’s place - it’s so clean and comfortable (with many nice touches) and located right in the middle of a cool Philly neighborhood with excellent food/drinks options around! We also appreciated how responsive Christina was to our questions. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again!
