Great flat. Very clean and welcoming. Close to local restaurants and lovely walks along the quay. Bonus was a secure place to leave our bikes!

Accommodation is very homely and comfortable with lots of home comforts. It is a perfect location for access to beach, harbour and town with ease of access to some lovely bars and restaurants. Fantastic location for beautiful walks. We’ve stayed here many times and will do so again.

James is a lovely host, excellent and clear communication. The flat is perfect base to explore the local area. We had a lovely holiday!

The Bay House apartment was a great place for a short break. The place was clean, bright and airy with amazing views. It was lovely to sit and watch the boats and fishermen in the harbour. The bed was extremely comfortable with pristine linens. The bathroom was stocked with shower gels and shampoos. Westbay itself is a delightful little harbour town with plenty to see and do on a sunny day. Kiosks line the harbour selling ice creams, fish and chips etc. All in all I would recommend the apartment and the location.

Wir waren für einen Kurzurlaub in Swanage zu dritt (zwei Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind). Die Wohnung von Sebastian bietet alles, was man braucht, um sich wohlfühlen und abschalten zu können. Zudem merkt man an seiner Art, wie er die Wohnung ausgestattet hat und auch an den vielen hilfreichen Tips und Anweisungen, dass er seinen Gästen eine gute Zeit schenken möchte. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich und verdient unsere Anerkennung. Wir würden definitiv wiederkommen

I have just spent a couple of nights at Emily's place with my daughter. The flat is really lovely. It is absolutely spotlessly clean, stylish, and homely. Lots of thought has clearly gone in to make it a comfortable place to stay. The bed and sofa bed are so comfortable. Good quality kitchen wear, bathroom, and TV make for a luxurious feel. The location is very central, with the added bonus of parking. Luke & Emily we're very communicative and very kindly allowed us to check-in early. Super hosts and highly recommendable place to stay.

A great location, with great views from both front and back of the property. Stephen provided detailed information re access and parking, the latter just needs you to keep a look out for available spaces in front of the pub! Oh, and pub is great as well, with a quiz night each Thursday, questions aren't that hard!

We had a great stay at Ruth's place. Everything was as described and the flat was just as good as all the previous reviews have stated. The flat is very near to two pubs - the Spyglass and Kettle and the Commodore. The Spyglass has lovely seating outside and the Commodore has a very good menu. We had some great days out and were able to get the number 70 bus outside the apartment to some of them. Firstly, Hengistbury Head which only takes about 15 mins on the bus. There is a cafe there and another one on the other side where all the posh beach huts are. You can also pick up the same bus there to go to Christchurch which is only about another 10 minutes in the same direction. We also got the same bus into Bournemouth. Other recommendations are: Compton Acres which is a beautiful garden, set in woodland and Harry's Rocks which involves a pleasant one mile walk from Studland Car Park. Lovely house with the added bonus of a parking space. The house was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. It was very well stocked with everything you could want and it's a very easy short walk to the beach. I absolutely would recommend this.

We had a lovely time at Peter and Frances's place. The house is a decent size, and well-equipped, but it's certainly its prime location (overlooking the sea, and just a few steps away from the South West Coast Path) that makes it so special. Will gladly be back for some more family hiking if in Dorset!

The house is very spacious and in a stunning peaceful location. There was more space at the front, back and inside than the description suggested. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We had a great week, enjoying coastal walks and cycling and the local pub. The house is very comfortable and well-equipped. It has the most wonderful views from the open plan living space which you can’t really appreciate from the photos. Graeme was really helpful / responsive.

We were a group of 12, and every one of us agreed this is the best holiday house we've ever stayed in. We loved the location, right by the beach and a short walk into town, but at the end of a cul-de-sac, so quiet and safe. We loved all the many books and musical instruments in the house - we felt very at home! We loved the beautiful sea views from 3 bedrooms, and the comfy beds, and the well-equipped kitchen. Our children loved the wide range of toys and the games console. The host made us feel very welcome. We felt it was very good value for money, and we would really like to come back and stay here again.

We had a fabulous stay. The Annexe had everything we needed, was cosy and very comfortable as well as being well located for all amenities and speedy access to the coastal path. Communication from Debbie and Derek was superb and they were on hand when we arrived to explain anything that we didn't understand, they also provided local information and bus timetables. Couldn't ask for better hosts.

We stayed with our dog over new year, from arrival we loved the place, great views from the bedroom just lying in bed and from the living room. A pub was only 0.3 miles from the house and we enjoyed a leisurely walk into Poole Quay crossing the Twin Sails Bridge, plenty of places to eat and drink with a dog, and somehow the walk back seemed quicker. Really enjoyed our stay and felt very home from home. The welcome box was super nice one for us and one for our dog, really nice touch.

Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property! From the moment we arrived, everything was just perfect. The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The beds were super comfortable, and we especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing us with great tips for local attractions and making sure we had everything we needed. The location was also ideal – close to everything, yet quiet enough to truly unwind. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Apartment as shown on photos, clean with a well equipped kitchen. Central location within West Bay with stunning coastal walks and variety of restaurants. Found Chris to be very friendly and provided helpful information. Look forward to stopping at apartment again.

Really enjoyed our stay, great location for exploring the area. The apartment was clean, comfortable and cosy. Beds were really comfortable, bathroom very small but fine for three of us for a few days. We would love to stay again if we return to West bay.

This was our second visit to Carolyn's apartment in West Bay. We also visited out of season last time - West Bay has a lovely out of summer season vibe! There were plenty of shops and restaurants still open. We did have a dramatic storm for one day, but mostly the weather was dry, sunny and bracing! The apartment is in a great location, and is beautifully maintained - very clean and welcoming. Carolyn is a wonderful host - excellent communication and very useful information from entry details to local amenities.

we are just back after a lovely weekend. We came down Friday and Martin messaged to say we could get in early, a massive plus for me as I have Parkinsons and get tired, so was nice to get in, sit with a cuppa (and a yummy biscuits that were supplied, thankyou), then go off exploring. The flat is the ideal place with a wonderful view from sitting on the sofa, and easy access to the beach, shops, bars etc and heading off for walks. We are sussed we could park for free with my blue badge just along from the flat, perfect :-) Martin was the perfect host, gave us all the info we needed for getting in, and like I say early checkin. Yes the kitchen is small but my partner and my self where fine, even both being on the larger size. I think it's perfect, everything we needed. the round bed was a novelty lol but yes very comfy. basically a perfect place I highly recommend and if we are in swanage again would def rent again, thankyou Martin :-)
