I absolutely loved my stay and would love to return later in the year. I felt completely at home and relaxed for a while without the demands of life chasing my heels!

Rachel and Dominic have fantastic places to stay at Moonacre, there are a variety of different options in a stunning location. Quirky and fun, these outdoor living spaces are a joy if you are looking for a peaceful retreat in the countryside or an adventure with your family. It’s not unusual to raise your head from your book or laptop to see a herd of deer peering at you from the fields or woods. This time I stayed in Monty the Motorhome, a converted motorhome, a very quiet and relaxing night. I will stay again when I get the opportunity.

we had a fabulous 3 night stay in the magic bus x beautiful quiet surroundings wonderful shared garden with loads of things for the kids to do x cracking wood burning stove in the bus kept us super toasty and was very easy to light x everything anyone could want provided in the bus from cheese grater to Cafeteria x super comfortable beds and hot water always in the shower xx

This is a wonderful and peaceful place. The caravan is spacious and full of games, books and general stuff to keep everyone entertained. Garden is just fabulous and the wildlife flourishes. This is a very child friendly place with lots of space for kids to run around and lots of things to do without having to leave the comfortable space…and you have chickens as your neighbours. Location is ideal for exploring nearby places & attractions and / or you can just walk to Longford which is a stunning place.

This caravan in rural Somerset is our new happy place. It's retro styling is Impeccable right down to vintage plates. you can look through a book to see the journey of its restoration which is really interesting. once you get over how quirky and wonderfully vintage the holiday home is. you start to realise literally everything has been thought of to make you comfortable. from a lovely mattress topper, to an emergency mini medical cupboard, you can sit out in the rain remaining dry under the cover or if you get the weather bbq with a fire pit. the spot itself is very peaceful and rural.

Had an amazing long weekend staying in the Gypsy Caravan. It was absolutely beautiful accommodation and with the summer house to enjoy as well we had loads of space to relax. Rachael was really lovely and we were amazed by all the thoughtful little extra touches - the blankets in the summer house for chilling on the decking in the evenings, the marshmallows for toasting over the fire pit. It was a gorgeous setting and so peaceful - perfect as a base for exploring or just relaxing and having a quiet weekend. We would highly recommend to everyone and would love to return. Caroline is the best host I’ve had on air bnb! Very quick to reply to messages and showed us around the caravan. Supplied us with milk, tea coffee and sugar and we felt soo at home! Caravan was very clean and cosy and is a beautiful, peaceful location! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very welcome!

My 12 y/o daughter and I have had a wonderful 4 night stay in Homely Horsebox. As someone with small space/off grid living aspirations one day, this is one of my favourite places to have stayed. The horsebox is so homely and cosy, with warm colours and beautiful wooden furniture with a surprising amount of space to put things. The log burner heated it up very well for our February stay. There is everything you need...tea bags, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, sauces, oil, UHT milk sachets, cleaning items etc. The little cool box is really handy for ice blocks to keep things cool overnight. The highlight for us was the big double bed in the 'snug' above the driving area - with a wonderful bookcase, fairy lights, curtains for privacy and cosy pillows, cushions and blankets - I was jealous of my daughter sleeping in it! Shower great, water toasty. Veranda with beautiful views of fields and a fab shared garden with all sorts to keep kids occupied. We 100% recommend Homely Horsebox! Thx

I will be honest - we couldnt make it to Melanie’s caravan as our car broke down on our way. However, Melanie was very much kind enough in understanding our situation and very well handled it. Thank you Melanie. While it was unfortunate we could nt make it this time, we look forward for next time. A wonderful little haven in a fabulously peaceful valley. Ideal place to get away from it all. Compact and cosy but with everything you need to relax. We had a lovely three nights escape, within really easy drive of Taunton. Great for my three year old as well as myself. I particularly enjoyed sitting out under the stars after little one was in bed. Amelia is a fantastic host and Penny is very welcoming and accommodating too. My daughter loved feeding the ducks, and seeing the goats and chickens. The trampoline was very popular too. We will definitely visit again as we have family in Taunton, and have found our home from home.

It was so much fun! We wanted to escape any New Year’s Eve fireworks, and from inside the trailer we could not see any other homes so it was very secluded. Phone reception and 5G coverage is surprisingly good for the location and toilet cabin is only 2m outside of gated garden. Bridget was kind enough to leave extra duvets and the heater warmed the place up very quickly. I wish I had brought binoculars as we stared at the stars for ages. Bridget’s communication was quick and detailed despite it being a last minute booking.

It was NYE, me and my girlfriend wanted somewhere low key and peaceful to spend the evening. We stayed at Jenni’s Shepherds hut situated in their grounds of their home. We were greeted on arrival by their housekeeper who showed us to where we were staying. The log burner had kindly been lit before we got there. Everything was very clean and the most well equipped shepherds hut we’ve stayed at and in the morning we only noticed the fresh bottle of milk, eggs, bagels, jam and clotted cream with tea, coffee and sugar. The view outside was stunning, boasting beautiful views of the countryside. We would have gone walking but the weather wasn’t great. It did make for a cosy stay indoors with the sound of rain hitting the skylight. All in all, would definitely stay here again and couldn’t recommend enough.

Amazing Stay at Matthew's Shepherd hut in Salisbury! I recently stayed at Matthew's Shepherd in Salisbury, and it was an absolute delight. The location was perfect, with easy access to all the city's attractions. Matthew, the host, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The Shepherd's hut itself was beautifully designed, combining rustic charm. The outdoor area was serene and peaceful and the dogs loved it! Overall, my experience at Matthew's Shepherd was exceptional. I highly recommend it for a unique and memorable stay in Salisbury!

I booked this as a last minute surprise for my boyfriend, and when we arrived he said it was being in a fairy tale!! Stephen and Amanda came and greeted us and showed us the caravan, which is tucked at the bottom of their garden, it was so peaceful, watching the birds and squirrels. Everything was catered for and enjoyed relaxing by the fire til midnight listening to the owls. And the bed was so snuggley! Slept so well!! Highly recommend if you want a piece of nature and outdoor living with all your creature comforts! Many thanks, definitely will return. 😊

I stayed at the Haystore for two days at the end of a work trip from Canada instead of going to London and it was unreal. It was a perfect location to relax and the carriage is impressively stocked for the size. So long as you don't mind driving a bit, it was also the perfect homebase for traveling around visiting all the cider farms in Somerset. There is a coffee shop in walking distance as well which was a pleasant surprise. I would readily come stay here again next time I'm in the UK, two days wasn't enough!

What an amazing stay. A fantastic get away from the hustle and bustle. Throughly enjoyed our stay and the treasure hunt. Will most definitely be booking again, and again and again. Sooooo....relaxing. Even Dilan was a great host. Thank you very much James.

Amazing place for holidays! My family and I had a great time! The caravan had everything we needed, was beautiful and comfy. Very clean which is something I really appreciate. Richard was very friendly and responsive at all times. I recommend this place 100% :).

We had a lovely weekend. Accommodation was clean and very well-equipped. It was a very peaceful location, our kids loved being outdoors early in the morning playing on the swings and looking for the deer. The location was lovely and Lesley and Julian were very helpful. Due to the rain causing the fields to be slippery, we didn't drive down to the tent - walking through some fields back to the car when we were checking out added to the adventure
