We had a great time in Whanganui with lots to do over the school hols. While we weren’t in the house very much, it was comfortable and very well appointed for our group from 11 to 82! The backyard and games room are excellent for families.

Loved the house and location... views spectacular. great place for a large group... there were twelve of us and did not feel crowded. close to town and the markets. Better than we expected. Will recommend it to friends and family traveling to Whanganui.

Amazing house. Would absolutely suit a large group perfectly. Two minute walk to town. Letitcia was an absolutely amazing host, right from the beginning. Best communication ever and so responsive.

“A Perfect Stay with Stunning Views!” I had an amazing stay at this AirBnB! The location was perfect—peaceful, yet close to everything I needed. One of the highlights was the beautiful walk nearby, which offered breathtaking views that made every morning feel magical. Beautiful older home, had window latches I haven’t seen since the old state houses were rebuilt, great location easy to find shops etc

Great family week in Whanganui. Our place was amazing, comfortable, great vibe, relaxing, loved the pool and deck with outdoor bath. Wished we could stay longer. Ken and Jess so helpful and responsive, very friendly. Would love to stay there again.

myself and grandchildren loved Cecile's place..homely and has everything our lil family needed even the extras of brekky stuff, spreads, bread, milk ..truly appreciated when showing up with X4 young children ..We had a dip in pool abit cool at this time of year but refreshing ..

Such a beautiful home for our family of 5. This house had absolutely everything we needed so we decided to stay home and enjoy it. we will totally be back 😊

A great spot. Walking distance to the beautiful lake and gardens. The place was very tidy with beautiful decor, comfortable beds and a beautiful bathroom. Private with a seperate entrance except just one bathroom. Also no running water in the kitchen which I assume is work in progress. Jude was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely could return.

Like Philippa stated when villa finishes renovation it definitely looks grand and posh. But still loved interiors tastefully decorated furniture and personal touches. All of us enjoyed something different than normal air b&b experience. Thanks

What a great place to stay. Handy yo everything we needed, especially golf. Great check in treats, especially loved the OJ, Peanuts & Snickers Bars. The addition of a chipping net to practice in the back yard was a very special touch. Highly recommended & we'll definstely be back when next in Palmy. Thanks Jo for a great stay.

My family had a lovely stay in this amazingly beautiful home. Very homey, clean and spacious. The host was easy to communicate with, and very responsive too. She provided clear instructions which was very helpful to us. Great value for money. Will definitely book again 👌🏼

cute old lil Bach with some interesting history & photos on the wall. we enjoyed the location, close to.the Beach & the Citadel cafe. being pet friendly was extremely important to us too. this was my 2nd stay at Monday cottage & would stay again. recommend to others looking for a lil escape at the beach

Clean, quiet & comfortable. A very relaxing stay away with the added bonus of being dog friendly (and the best dog park by far just around the corner!!)

Great spot with an amazing view. Was so good to be able to bring our dogs, the property was a really good size and fully fenced. The deck and covered outdoor area was really nice, a great spot to chill and relax. Definitely recommend!

Great place to stay for a young family, had everything we needed. We especially liked the indoor-outdoor flow.
