Nice 3-bedroom 2-bathroom spot with a hot tub and Foosball table. Located really close to Chair 9, which makes for an easy meet up spot for groups. Just be aware that there is almost no cell phone service in this area

Our stay was exactly as described and we couldn't have been happier with our selection. going forward, we will be staying here when we travel to Bellingham. The space is lovely. Beautiful, spacious, several loos, and a gaming room. Three deer greeting us one morning and there were trees aplenty. we had a minor issues with the theatre room connecting to wifi but unplugging and replugging it in fixed it right up. The host was quick to respond when we messaged. 5 stars - for sure.

We really enjoyed our stay at Retreat 19. Our friend's little dog was with us and he liked it too! Very peaceful and feels so remote, but easy to get into Bellingham to enjoy all it has to offer.

Beautiful place!! Hosts were so quick to help with any questions. My weekend was so peaceful and beautiful and I would 100% stay again. It was tricky finding the place at first, you just have to really pay attention to directions and the road. My group and I were overall very satisfied with our stay. :)

Jackie and her team is wonderful. Very communicative. Overall it’s a great experience and the house is really nice too. Lot of space to kick back and relax with your friends and family.

The whole experience in this beautiful house was better than I could have imagined. I kept finding special touches, a few that stand out: the most awesome stair lighting I have ever seen, double stoves and double washer/dryer set (not that we needed them, but...cool!), bean bag chair that made the perfect bed for an 8 year old, marble floors in bathrooms, waterfall faucets in the master bedroom ensuite, frogs and crickets chirping the night away, friendly / tame deer meandering their way through the yards and nearby golf course meadow, superior knife quality in the kitchen...I could go on and on. This was a dream home and the hosts were extremely responsive and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Devin was an excellent host and was very responsive and helpful. The house worked very well for our needs as a family with a young child. Lots of space, well-stocked kitchen, and comfortable beds. There isn't much nearby besides a couple restaurants, a (quite ample) mini mart, and a golf course, but there is good access for trails and the woodsy setting is peaceful, plus it's pretty quick to drive to downtown Bellingham. Devin does a good job mentioning this, but do be aware that if it is snowy/icy out you will need to be prepared with chains or studded tires because the hill getting up to the place is steep! There is a place you can park down the hill, but it's about 3/4 of a mile away. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again!

This was our second time staying at the Birdhouse. It got a face lift since the first time and we loved it just as much. It's cozy, conveniently located, and well equipped with just what you need for a long weekend. The covered hot tub is especially nice. When there was a slight issue with the hot tub, Luxury Getaways was very quick to respond. Love this place and will likely return!

This was a great place for our two small families to stop overnight on a road trip from Portland to Whistler. We would have been happy to spend more time there! It was very spacious and our late night check in was a breeze. Super friendly front desk, easy to find, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, and a large relaxing common space provided everything we needed.

my daughter and i brought my grand kids .. they went ga ga crazy over the pool.. they are 12 and 9... the kitchen was perfect... everything there that we needed... we did go out for fried cod fish on sat. night.. YUMMY.... had a super weekend...

Birch Bay is great, there home is excellent.

Such a great space in a great location! Took advantage of the kitchen, which had everything I needed to cook a good dinner! Right across from the water and within walking distance of multiple restaurants and coffee shops.

We booked your place 3 times back to back. We came up from California to work & your place did not disappoint. Felt just at home with your bbq & stove as we did alot of cooking there. Beach was is a 2 minute walk where we stayed out passed sunset & enjoyed the fire pits available. We also loved the indoor pool & spa & used it as we were able too. Over all we are happy to have found a place like yours! thanks for the hospitality

It was an unexpectedly wonderful and peaceful place. It felt so comfortable and home-like, making it perfect for a family stay. At first, I doubted whether it would really look like the photos, but in reality, it was even more beautiful and breathtaking. The host was very communicative, and I could feel their sincerity and thoughtfulness in making guests feel welcome. If I ever stay in this area again, I would choose this place without hesitation.
