What a wonderful getaway! The house was just as the pictures show, and pristine clean! The bed was comfortable with very nice linens. The decor was right out of a magazine! So nostalgic with fun colors. There was a nice selection of hair care, body washes, lotions and potions. The town square is only a couple of blocks away, and definitely walkable with better weather. We discovered Brother's Restaurant and Tavern, located on the Square, and visited 4 times in 3 days! It was THAT GOOD!! We'll hopefully get to visit again some day. Definitely recommend.

I had the most wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, the host made me feel incredibly welcome. The home itself was a perfect blend of comfort and style, with cozy furnishings and tasteful decor that made it feel like a true home away from home. The space was immaculately clean and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The location was ideal—quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything I wanted to explore. The host also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities, which made my trip even more memorable. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re looking for a place that combines warmth, comfort, and convenience, this Airbnb is an absolute gem.

Summer's home is beautiful. The location is amazing. It is private and quiet. It's close enough to town and easy to find. The lake and dock were great. The home is spacious and well furnished. Summer is a very responsive and helpful host.

Thank you for an amazing getaway! Brad was so friendly, quick to respond, & helpful with recommendations on food/activities in & around the area. The house exceeded our expectations - so clean, cozy, & comfortable for our family of 4! We enjoyed the hot tub, making s’mores by the fire, our kiddos (5 & 8) loved playing outside in the big yard under the magical cafe lights while we relaxed on the huge wraparound porch! Every detail of the house was incredible, Brad really took the time to put together the decor - we had so much fun looking at each sign & all the cute cabin treasures around the house it really made us feel far away from the Nash burbs which is what we wanted for a quick weekend trip! Foglight & Rock Island Market were great for dinner / breakfast - we hiked Fall Creek Falls (30-40min drive) but Rock Island State park is a 2 min drive away if you want to stay close (we had just been otherwise we’d have done both!). Thanks again can’t wait to come back!!

The location& house was beautiful, but we weren’t aware the 2nd master was disconnected from the rest of the house so that was a little disappointing. Also,the drive to get to the house is a little scary & that’s not the adventurous way,so it was kinda nerve wrecking leaving and coming back,but other than that the water area was absolutely breathtaking,as well as the view from the porch. Just wish description was a little clearer.

Nancy's place was a perfect setting. The surroundings were stunning and their place is so peaceful. They are also in the perfect location to go and see water falls and caves. So many outdoor adventures you can have close by. It was nice to sit in their hot tub too and have fires in the fire pit to roast marshmallows and hot dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and they were great hosts. They let us use their washer and dryer and even invited us to spend Thanksgiving dinner with them. It felt like visiting family, I would highly recommend a stay here.

If you want a peaceful getaway…this is your place. We met some family on Friday and didn’t leave until Sunday and thoroughly relaxed and enjoyed our surroundings and just being together! The home is just lovely and very clean and it offered a beautiful view! Full kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of restrooms, no worries here!!!

Rustic and peaceful hideaway for those ready for some private time. The guest cabin and treehouse offered further retreat from the main house. This was an idilic location for our private family time and everyone enjoyed the rustic vibe with modern amenities.

Wonderful little home that is close to many wonderful hikes and waterfalls which is exactly why we were staying in the area. Host was very responsive. The home was very clean which I was thankful for having a 1 year old that crawls everywhere when she doesn’t feel like walking. Hot tub was nice and clean in working condition and had a nice fire pit area with firewood stocked which is a huge plus. Dollar general as well as newts bbq & a gas station are directly across the highway. One thing we didn’t realize was there is a grill but it is charcoal which we don’t normally use but it worked out fine. It is right off a highway so there is a lot of noise if you’re sitting outside by a fire but we didn’t hear it inside when trying to sleep. We loved this area though definitely recommend visiting!
