We had an amazing, much needed vacation. The house was beautiful and had all the amenities needed to make it feel just like home. The attention to detail was spot on.. Chris gave us so many ideas and suggestions on things to do in the area. The pool was a hit with the kids. Chris was super quick at responding to questions and even sent videos on how to do things with the pool. We will definitely be back! The beaches are so beautiful and at low tides exploring was a lot of fun. We saw stingrays, crabs, jelly fish and tons of live sand dollars (that we left alone, please don’t take them if they are alive)… This was our first time on St. Simon Island and we fell in love.

We had a great stay! Easy to walk to the beach and restaurants!

Perfect location! Host was very responsive. Only negative is it did not have a well stocked kitchen which proved to be a challenge when cooking thanksgiving dinner! Listing indicated there would at least be olive oil, salt, pepper, and there wasn’t any. Would rent again, but would be more prepared and bring basic kitchen supplies and utensils.

Adele was extremely accommodating and an excellent host! We loved the care package she left and the house was beautiful, spotless and perfect for our crew!

Mary made us feel right at home! Her place was incredible, it had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend on the island for my son’s wedding. We appreciate the welcome note and the bottle of wine and doggie treats. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

Lovely location, easily walkable. Private courtyard appreciated for morning coffee, breakfast and conversation.

Excellent stay at Amelia Island! We loved the location of the unit, and it was so wonderful to be surrounded by nature. We rented a golf cart for our family of five, and we spent time at the beach and in the town of Fernandina Beach. Chip was very responsive and the unit was lovely! We hope to return someday.

The place was really nice, and having the bikes and the beach gear is super helpful; however, a number of the bikes had issues and were not able to be used (Brandon was responsive and had someone work on them within a day or two). My son repaired 1-2 bikes himself. Also, the place says that it has a fire pit and a grill, both of which factored into our decision to stay here, but nowhere did we see in the listing that we'd have to buy the propane for these in order to use them. That was disappointing. Who would use an entire tank in a week?! Despite these issues, we had a great stay, and the airbnb is well stocked, esp in the kitchen!
