What a wonderful place. House has a great layout. Views are beautiful. All amenities included are exactly as described. Carrie was extremely prompt in answering any messages. Cabin was very clean and kitchen has anything you would require. The hot tub overlooking the river is also glorious. Plenty to do in this area as well.

What a beautiful retreat in the country. Very peaceful and restorative. Wonderful extensive trails on property - well groomed, marked and cared for. We enjoyed both walking and mountain biking on the trails. Sauna was amazing - loved seeing the trees through the sauna window while sauna bathing in the day, and the stars through the window in the evening. Enjoyed the outdoor gazebo swing in the evening with the ambience lights around the gazebo. Home is welcoming and well set up. Kitchen is a lovely space. Compost toilet was a nice feature (no smell, and appreciated this eco friendly system that reduces water usage). Thank you for the opportunity to stay at Toadhall - a true haven.

This is one of our favorite AirBnBs. Right away I’ll say we would recommend this place. Actually, this was our second stay as a ‘group of friends’ cabin getaway. We booked last year as well but under someone else in the group. We really like the location, the layout of the cabin, the living room, dining room, and kitchen. Hottub is really nice and tucked away out back - so it is out of sight, no neighbours in view, only trees! Some objects are starting to show a bit of wear and tare relative to the previous year (this is likely seeing a lot of visitors as it’s a great cabin), but a little maintenance should resolve issues and didn’t impact our stay. Host is really cool and responsive with questions. There are a couple of TVs in the place, good wifi. A nice indoor fireplace. It’s got a little of everything and we found it a good comfortable space to hang with friends

My partner and I wanted a quiet getaway to celebrate his birthday and it exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. The cottage had all the amenities available. The hot tub on a cold winter day with the wood stove to warm up to afterwards was the highlight of our stay. It wasn’t too far from Winnipeg Beach or Gimli. Quaint little towns that had lots of trails to enjoy nature walks and outdoor activities. Thank you for your hospitality, responsiveness and kindness. We will definitely be back!

This place was absolutely perfect in everyway! We loved everything about it and had an incredible and relaxing few days away! Very cute and thought out place, loved the hot tub and saw lots of deer. A true gem!

The Dam Cottage was a dream come through for us. We needed a get away and a weekend to truely relax and spend quality time togethet and we felt right at home. It was squeaky clean, homely, peaceful, spaceous, the kitchen had everything we needed to make a lovely homemade meal. Steph made us feel right at home, she shared valuable information and responded timely to all our enquiries. We know we will be going back there soon.

A timeout in a class of its own We stayed here with seven people for one week in September 2024. The very clean and fully equipped cottage is located in a very quiet area on the east side of Lake Winnipeg. This gives the best view of the perfect sunsets in the evenings. The WiFi is very stable. The support from Gayle is fast and attentive. The self check-in is perfectly described. All questions are answered quickly and in detail. Communication is exemplary. The cottage is very tastefully furnished and decorated. The pictures shown on Airbnb correspond exactly to reality. I can highly recommend the cottage. We would like to book it again the next time we visit Lake Winnipeg. Thank you Gayle for creating this beautiful retreat.

Absolutely beautiful property. My family and I had all the essentials we needed and then some. Beds were incredibly neat and comfortable. We were able to set up our telescope in the backyard and see Jupiter and Saturn! Thank you for hosting us!

We had a wonderful time at the Diana's place. It was so cozy, inviting and warm. It was immaculately clean and the beds were comfortable. Diana was responsive to our questions. We had a very relaxing weekend here.

The cable and internet had been knocked out by a power outage that required a service call to restore. It took a couple of days, and she reduced the charge for the Airbnb to compensate for us having to use our own data. She was always responsive and helpful, and the house was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. If we needed a place for a group to stay in the area again, we would definitely book this one.

Awesome location, I grew up in the area and being able to visit with such an awesome location was great. definitely recommend a few nights stay if you get a chance. Keith was really helpful and friendly, would definitely visit again in the future

Graeme’s place was the perfect location for all of our needs. We were welcomed by the neighbors and we. felt right at home. The screened porch was the perfect place to relax, play games, and watch the thunderstorms. Would stay there again!

This was the perfect choice for our ice fishing trip to lake Winnipeg. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was very clean and the bed was comfy.

I cannot say enough great things about this cottage and its hosts. The location is spectacular - nestled in a quiet and calm bay, our kids loved swimming off of the dock and enjoying the two paddle boards and two-person kayak provided by Jess. The cottage is, similarly, thoughtfully appointed with a full modern kitchen that lacks nothing. An induction range made cooking a breeze, along with a terrific BBQ. The bedrooms are very comfortable. Everywhere has a great view of the lake. Jess and her husband were remarkably responsive with questions about the area and gave us terrific suggestions. We have been coming to LOTW for 30 years at a family cottage, and this was our first time here - what a change to have a new, modern and immaculate place to live! The bunkie is large, clean and has a very comfortable mattress. The location is incredible - the quiet is astounding, punctuated only by the calls of loons. We will definitely be back - thank you Jess for a wonderful stay

We had a lovely stay at Rick and Karen’s. The place was exactly as described- lots of space for 2 adults and 2 kids. The waterfront location was perfect - we paddled and fished off the dock and the sunsets were stunning. The house is as described… older farmhouse, kitchen well stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. Was very hot while we were there and the AC units worked well to keep us cool. Hosts live right next door and were very responsive to all our questions. They also recommended a trip to Hoopla Island which was a 20 min drive - and was a great suggestion… kids had a blast. Lots of great memories made.
