We had a great stay, very beautiful area. We originally found it difficult to locate with our GPS taking us to the wrong location. However, that was our own mistake missing this detail in the listing as the hosts did mention this and described how to best locate the location. Hosts were quick to communicate with us when we got a bit mixed up in our directions. We did not realize that the Air BNB was located at a marina, but a visit in the fall was very peaceful and quiet. The fall colours were beautiful. Spacious and clean accommodations for a good price.

An amazing getaway from the city! The house is amazing, we were so impressed by the quality and neatness of everything. It’s all even nicer in person! They provided linen and towels, all very clean too. The host is so nice, replies quickly, willing to help. We wanna go back in the Summer because we fell in love.

We stayed as a group of 16 friends and had the most memorable weekend. We truly could not be more pleased with our visit; from the beautiful scenery to the stunning cottage itself. Harry was in touch from the time of booking till checkout. We ran into zero issues but I am confident that if we had, Harry would be very quick to rectify. The cottage was spacious and was more than comfortable- it felt just like being at a home away from home. Would absolutely recommend this cottage and Harry as a host to anyone.

We stayed at the House by the Locks as part of a family vacation in February 2025 and had a fantastic time. This is a unique heritage home that takes "historic character" to a whole new level. It was beautifully furnished, spacious for our party of 6, spotlessly clean, and had a well-equipped kitchen. We used it as home base for doing winter activities at Algonquin and Arrowhead Provincial Parks, and it was a pleasure to return to at the end of the day. Check-in/out was easy, and the host was friendly and responsive. 10/10. Highly recommended!

Ryan was a great host and the place was beautiful and located in a great location easy to find. We loved the place and would most definitely stay again if needed.

Kim was really communicative and good about making sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. Easily reached, easy to work with. We spent the weekend fishing/snowmobiling and the location was very good for access to Lake Nipissing. Fishing is always good on the South Shore. Space was spacious, clean, multiple bedrooms. Kitchen well stocked. Everything you need.

Such a quiet and amazing getaway! Jaime-Lee was an amazing host, on our last day there was a storm. He let us check out after the storm had passed! Would definitely recommend his places to stay!

We had an amazing stay at Red Moose cottage. It’s a great place for a cozy weekend getaway. The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean. We were even able to ice fish infront of the cottage. I would highly recommend Joshua as a host.

**Family of four with two dogs.** We loved Tami's place! It was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The location was perfect—less than 10 minutes from restaurants, shopping, and everything in town. Tami was a fantastic host—super responsive and welcoming! The cottage was cozy, inviting, and had plenty of parking. We stayed during a winter storm, so we mostly enjoyed the cottage and played in the snow ❄️ but managed to go out for dinner a couple of times. Bracebridge is a beautiful town, and we loved that it was less than three hours from home!

Couldn’t recommend Vivian’s place more! Rented this cottage for a birthday weekend & not only was it extremely spacious & clean, but it was exactly as photographed. The outdoor entertainment areas & the dock were a huge plus as well. We loved our stay, huge bang for your buck! Vivian is also a great host who was super accommodating & responsive - would definitely rent again :)

Great place to stay for groups. Lots of room and all the amenities available. We had morning coffees on the deck and then by the water, which had a beautiful view and was a short walk down the property. The tennis court was a nice addition and enjoyable to play as rackets and balls were readily available. Kobi was very friendly and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Tom and Jane are amazing hosts. They are very responsive and so hospitable. They were very accommodating in our request for a later check out. The cottage is very spacious and spotless clean, perfect for a large family. Everything was well thought out. The cottage comes with all the essentials. All you need is food and clothes. The walkout basement leads to the backyard and the lake. Our group throughly enjoyed the new hot tub. The basement washroom is newly renovated, large and bright. The beds are very comfortable. There's also a karaoke machine and board games. Our group thoroughly our stay at the cottage. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing and perfect getaway. We hope to be back in the summer and swim in the lake. Thank you Tom and Jane for being such wonderful hosts.

We had an incredible stay during the long weekend at Paul’s place! The view of the lake and surrounding foliage was stunning, the place was extremely well stocked, and we felt right at home. There were small touches that we found really nice like the wine cooler, heated towel warmers, and a closet filled with fire starting materials. We had the loveliest time and my entire family mentioned many times how much they didn’t want to leave! We would love to come back another time.

I have stayed at many places but many just give the minimum necessities for the kitchen. They had everything we needed, even a roasting pan for cooking our Xmas dinner. Thank you so much for having us 😊
