If you're considering other places for your trip; just go ahead and do yourself a favor and rent this incredible home. The Owners are extremely hospitable and are excellent communicators. Multiple times they reached out prior to our arrival to see if we had any special requests. This was a family Christmas gathering and they had the house wonderfully decorated complete with a 9' Christmas Tree! Welcoming treats (including fresh eggs) helped welcome us to this historic and spacious home. 5 Bedrooms each with a full bath and 2 additional 1/2 baths made gave our group plenty of room. That, coupled with 2 sitting/living rooms and a huge dining room made it just absolutely perfect for our stay. The decor is also fantastic and tasteful. If you like to cook (I do) - then you'll love the Viking range and 2 ovens as well as the Weber AND Traeger grills in the expansive back yard. The Owners were gave us our 'space' but were a quick text response away should we need anything. Loved It!

Kathryn was a great host. The apartment is in an old stable building with a fantastic brick floor and a vaulted ceiling with exposed beams. Just a great space with an excellent energy. It was easy to find, clean and super cozy. Kathryn is a self-admitted foodie and recommended the Whirlybird Italian Rotisserie in Tignall for dinner - an outstanding suggestion! Would highly recommend her place!

Honest review, this is the best airbnb I’ve stayed at in years. And it wasn’t even because of the actual home. When I think host I think just that someone who host you fortunately enough that’s what we got. They started our fire for us we made oysters, the fire was the perfect grill, they were very responsive, and just friendly all around. Now the home was so cute and quaint, the shower was amazing everything you need is in the kitchen. Anything I needed they made sure we had. Anytime I messaged she had Reccommendations. I’ll be coming back and I can’t wait. If you’re looking for peace this is where you’ll find it.

We have had the opportunity to stay in this cabin/home two different times for a race weekend at Durhamtown Off-road park. It is about 15 minutes away and allows for us to have a space that accommodates our family and needs for a race weekend. The house is incredibly private and has more than enough amenities - we don’t even get enough time to enjoy all it is equipped with. The bunk room is a favorite for the children and we are honestly very thankful for the little things like USB plugs in the lamps, extra blankets, dark towels after being in dirt dust all day, and even supplies for s’mores! The kitchen is fully stocked with well kept items so that planning for meals is easy. Our children even enjoy running around the yard, we just don’t get much time at the house. This would be an easy and fun getaway to enjoy some solitude if you’re not spending all your time at the dirt track.

We enjoyed our weekend at the cove celebrating my daughter’s 12th Birthday!! The pond is beautiful & the home is beautiful just like the pictures. I would definitely book again!!

We had such a great for an annual fishing trip that we do. We used to stay at the state parks with just little there cabins. But this place was amazing and had plenty of room and a beautiful view of the lake. Really enjoy have the boat dock that we could just tie our boats up.

Stayed here to attend the Masters. Very clean and modern fixtures. Very pleased with the stay.
