Gorgeous view. The cedar hot top with the views of the trees and sound of the stream passing by was definitely special. Inside the house, it felt very peaceful and inviting to meditate and be in the moment.

Lovely place! Such a great getaway among the trees. I really enjoyed my stay. I highly recommend. A couple things to note: The market just down the street is great for snacks, essentials you may have forgotten and firewood. The internet was not the best - fine for watching a bit of streaming but I would not recommend planning to do a bunch of zoom meetings. There are neighbors, but the way the house is set up, it feels very private.

Had a great peaceful evening in this cute cabin, enjoyed a nice hike, and really got to unplug with our pup!

This cabin was perfect for our family of four - and we’ll definitely bring our dog along next time! The bunk beds in the wall were a definite highlight for our boys. Internet speed was great. Access to Sea Ranch’s amenities, like the pool and close-to-beach parking, were awesome. We will definitely be back!

Exceeded my expectations...perfect cozy private getaway...was visited by tuxedo kitty..loved the animals...will visit again soon.

The house was perfect getaway for a relaxing spring break with my two tween kids and dog. It's definitely a place you want to cozy up in and read a book when it rains. It was decorated beautifully. The master bedroom was great, best night sleep and the little hidden loft was great for my kids. Did not miss having a TV, loved the record player and it offered us time to disconnect and play a lot of board games. However, wifi was strong when the kids did want to play/watch things on their tablets. Scenery around the house is stunning and it's close by the Sea Ranch Lodge if we wanted to go out for breakfast or dinner. Not too far from Stewarts Point General Store as well which was a cute spot. My kids loved the place so much they asked if we could move there!

This 4 bed downstairs unit was great for our crew of 4 guys on an XC motorcycle trip. The cedar hot tub was an epic bonus.

This is hands-down the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. From the get-go, Renee was proactive with her communications, flexible, and responsive. After booking, I had a concern that the space might not get warm enough with only a wood-burning stove (boy was I wrong!). When I expressed this concern, She was willing to work with me. When I got there, it was absolutely stunning, private, nestled in the redwoods in one of the most beautiful places in northern California! It was not too far a drive to the coastline or into town to Mendocino. The space feels somehow both cozy and totally spacious. It feels much less like a cabin and more like a fully stocked, fully furnished apartment with comfortable and beautiful furniture. And yet it’s still nestled in the comfort of the woods and has a rustic feel about it. I cannot recommend this place highly enough, and am sending the listing to all of my friends.

Amazing Cabin. Peter is extremely friendly and suggested lots to do. I picked the cabin because we really just wanted to relax/disconnect somewhere beautiful-not feel pressured to do too much since we already live in San Francisco- and this place did not disappoint. The place is even cuter in person, lots of natural light and so many beautiful interior details. It’s got old rustic charm but also all the amenities. The wood burning stove was cozy. Sooo many stars at night that you can gaze at from bed! I’m rambling at this point. This place was awesome. Thank you Peter!

Our stay at Kaity’s place was great and relaxing. The cabin is beautiful and so are its surroundings. We even had a small group of deer pay us a visit one morning. She was very responsive and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable. We would definitely come back in the future.

Zendo was a dream. Cabin/glamping at its best. Large house and I woke up in the midst of the forest with lushes greenery. Also that bed was so comfortable!!!!! WiFi worked well, the host had the sweetest gift basket for us when we arrived. It truly was a house of Zen. We drank coffee, made smores by the fireplace (they include the wood and all), read, relaxed and admired all the windows 🪟 and the greenery. Amazing this was real life and not a green screen. The hospitality, the host helped us with parking and we arrived late in the rain. Thank you ZENDO for an incredible weekend!

Great place, felt right at home, comfortable, with a well built kitchen with lots of equipment and a retro feel & excellent quality appliances. For a winter stay it was peaceful, private and comfortable, a great quick getaway from the Bay Area; in the summer there would be a lot of closeby activities. Judy is a very responsive host and answered questions right away. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful, peaceful and lovely stay. This was a fantastic place and one of the best Airbnb stays in my experience. Paulette is a friendly host and has included so many extras in her rental. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you would need and she has stocked the bathrooms with many extras. The location is beautiful with decks and windows that view the lake. The completely fenced back yard with the private beach really was beautiful and relaxing. We could let our dogs run free and they loved it. There are California buckeye trees there so I picked up the fruit that had dropped so my dog wouldn't chew them. There is a nice pergola on the beach so we could sit in the shade while the dogs played. Do try the Crestview walk listed in the binder. We drove to the dirt road, parked and had a really nice dog walk. We also walked the Redbud trail off of Hwy 20 which was enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in Melinh’s lovely cabin for 2 weeks and I felt at home immediately. It felt secluded and private even though there are some neighbors. Behind the cabin is a creek with moss covered logs, ferns and wildflowers. It was so peaceful. Melinh was responsive in mere minutes whenever I needed anything. I hope to return!

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

This is a very nice, and well organized house right on the lake with it's own private dock. Loved the carport and quiet setting. Easy access to town and the surrounding area. A perfect place for a country get-a-way.

Bass fisherman perspective. Host was flexible on where I could park my truck and boat. Getting back out was a little tricky in the morning so I recommend turning around when you get there so departing in the morning in the dark is easy. Host also has outlets available for charging boat batteries. Now onto the actual place. Simple and clean one bed room unit with clean bathroom and warm water. Internet available along with smart tv with fireTV installed. No complaints at all.

Absolutely surpassed the expectations given by the photos. The sound of the creek is the background music to your stay. From the kitchen, you are surrounded by outdoor beauty with trees out the huge windows above the sink while out the other windows you have a full view of the creek’s waterfall, tumbling down the mossy rocks, under the little bridge, and disappearing below the house to pop out the other side and greet you from below the trees seen from the kitchen windows. The patio on the edge of the creek is heaven for quiet contemplation or chats with your loved ones. We will be back as soon as we can.

Probably the most well stocked kitchen I have ever experienced at an Airbnb. This place truly has everything you need to be a home away from home and more. My kids loved the sea ranch kids park near shell beach. The hosts we're extremely kind and responsive, even on Christmas day for our arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

We are so glad we found Heather and her rustic cabins, it’s the only place to stay when visiting Lake Pillsbury. Such a unique location with a fascinating history, a much needed break from the city life. Our cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, was spotless with very comfortable beds! The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need We spent 4 days relaxing at the private pound, taking bike rides down the winding roads, stargazing, and exploring the trails. Heather checked in with us daily and was able to share the history of her land and the cabins. A beautiful location that everyone needs to visit!

Our stay at Andiron was unbelievably magical! My only wish is that we had discovered this gem sooner. Madeline was such a warm and welcoming host, and the place was not only impeccably maintained but also absolutely adorable. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Madeline!

We couldn’t recommend Richard & Diane’s place more highly! Truly one of the most cozy, charming, and beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. We were blown away by all of the handmade and thoughtful pieces/touches that Richard created in the cabin - the cabin itself is a work of art, let alone his sculptures on the property! The outdoor shower is better than we could have pictured. And those robes! Diane was the perfect host - she was incredibly warm and made the home extra special for us for Valentine’s Day. Thank you!! The home had everything we needed - it was hard to leave! Though it’s worth mentioning that we came to the area to go mountain biking, forage for mushrooms in Jackson, and explore Mendocino. Such a great spot to do all of these things, as well!

Great quiet spot on Albion Ridge with tranquil forest surrounding. Ladder to the upstairs bed, but there’s also a futon bed downstairs for those who would struggle with a ladder. Kitchen equipped with the basics. Very responsive and friendly host!
