This home was absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious. The kitchen was a dream and the bedrooms were perfect for our family. The lake (frozen when we were there) is really scenic. Everything was so cozy. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a place in the middle of all the action. Right between Anchorage and Hatcher Pass!

Beautiful place and a great location.

There aren’t adequate words to say for Troy’s place! It is amazingly beautiful and relaxing. He has done an excellent job of decorating and proving necessities for a stay. The beds were very comfortable. Be easy with the heat… it feels amazing on my feet (floor heated) but it will warm up very well… cools off slowly. I just wished I had planned on staying longer. Definitely #1 on our list.

This was a perfect ending to our trip. The house felt really homely and had something for everyone. We were able to relax, cook a nice meal, catch some trout in the lake and watch the Aurora from the hot tub. Idyllic.

We had a fabulous time at Steven’s Lake. This cabin was like our own resort on the lake when we came back from our daily adventures. Ben is super responsive and provides everything to make you feel at home - and then some. Great communication and smooth checkin and check out. Area is great for access to Denali, Talkeetna, or Anchorage. We loved our stay.

Stephanie was so sweet. Her place was so comfortable I did not want to leave. It provided space for my boys and my own space. She was so nice and friendly. I would stay there again! Thank you!

The house was well taken care of and very nice to stay in. Every sunrise and sunset was picturesque. The lake was beautiful and refreshing. Loved the opportunity to step away from life at home and relax.

Loved our weekend in this lakeside cabin. It was perfectly cozy and the view from the lake can't be beat! Perfect for 2-4 people for a weekend getaway. We hope to stay again sometime!

Kitchen was stocked with everything you’d need. Queen bed was very comfortable. Upstairs day bed was comfy as well. If you are looking for a quiet pristine place this is it! Was a bit further away from what we were doing but we weren’t entirely sure of what our plans were and this place seemed exactly what we needed. Overall great place!!

Beautiful piece of Heaven … comfortable house, as described.. no words or pictures can. Describe the serenity of this place. We missed moose and bears, but the loons were amazing… like a scene from “on golden pond”. Thank you!

Sam's Place is great for what I wanted, he's a great host. The cabin makes you feel like home, very comfortable and clean. I've stayed here before and will stay again.

I can't say enough about this place! It was fabulous! Clean as whistle! Mark & Marilyn managed to supply us with everything you could think of. Mark is a master craftsman carpenter who put an enormous amount of thought into this project of building the cottage. His use of space had to be planned in advanced having a raised fridge to allow access to the trash can below, less stooping to access the fridge, a thin cabinet that slid out from next to the fridge had lots of spices, and plenty of hooks &hangers for storage. The induction double burner stove worked great. We found a steamer for our veggies and a grill to cook our steelhead trout on (from Fred Meyer's). The shower was great! Hot water in an instant! There was a deck with a fire pit we wished we had time to use. Oh, and did I mention the view? Amazing! A view of Knik River and Knik glacier! M&M were wonderful hosts who shared their stories of living in Alaska! We enjoyed our chat prior to departing. A slice of heaven!!!

Lori was very kind and nice, she was very understanding with my last minute request for a room the same night. The house was really clean and well decorated. And her two dogs were just the sweetest. Would absolutely recommend her listing for anyone needing to say in the area.

Best stay in Alaska! The kids kayaks were the perfect added touch. We loved our time in the cabin and look forward to coming back!

My husband stayed at Jim’s property for three nights and there are not enough great things I can say about it. The cabin is beautiful and we felt right at home. Jim greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us the cabin and the property. The hot tub was easy to use and so nice to hang out in. We had a lovely evening hanging out with Jim and Teresa one night too. Fishing from the dock was fun too and there are a bunch of ways to get on the water if you would like too. The place was clean and clearly very loved. Overall this is a beautiful property and our time here was just perfect. Definitely recommend!

This cabin was perfect! It has a sun soaked deck that was perfect for morning coffee or afternoon cocktail’s. The cabin has a well stocked kitchen with a full size refrigerator. Very cozy and comfortable cabin. There were 4 kayaks and a canoe for playing in the water. The dock had ladder which made it easy to get in/out of kayak. Both Cozette and Randy were very accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed. Great communication!

The place was great. The kitchen was amazing. It was great to have laundry on site. The Bathroom has a very nicely updated. The only issues we found while there—which was not the cabin’s fault— we both have bad backs, was the bed was not very comfortable – was the bed and the couch were not comfortable for us. If you’re old or have a bad back, maybe this isn’t the best for you. Otherwise this place was amazing!

We really enjoyed our time in Liz's cabin! Great location, cute and cozy cabin, lots to do in the cabin itself. The sauna was an amazing bonus. Liz was very accommodating and let us spend some extra time at her place when the town lost power. Would definitely stay again, hopefully for longer!

Quiet, clean, and private. Absolutely worth what we paid and our dogs loved it! Vickie was very communicative and even left some toys for our animals to keep them entertained. I’m sure we will be back :)

Brad's home is breathtakingly beautiful. My family of four stayed at his place for two nights (very spacious and clean) on our way from Seward to Denali. With offerings such as kayaking on the gorgeous lake to a personal sauna with a scenery, this house is a perfect place to unwind and relax. It is also a short drive to Anchorage so location is not an issue. Brad was always very quick to respond to our various questions, which made our overall stay even easier and more comfortable. I mean... this place has heated bathroom floor, that's unheard of! Highly recommend

Everything was perfect and this place was beautiful!! No complaints at all!
