We had a great time during our stay! Spent two lovely evenings relaxing in the hot tub, after spending the days out exploring the Cotswolds. For foodie recommendations we can highly recommend the Sunday roast at The Bell in Sapperton, breakfast/brunch at Jack’s in Cirencester, and pizzas from The Stump! We had brilliant communication from James ahead of our stay and a super helpful guide which contains all the info you need from checking in, places to go, places to eat, and checking out. Highly recommend Squirrels Drey to any couple looking for a peaceful break away.

Just arrived home after a wonderful stay at this little lodge. Exactly as described in the listing/photos, and Tracey had even set out some little Christmas decorations to make it feel more festive and homely (as we were there for Christmas). The new park facilities (soft play & swimming pool) are FANTASTIC for kids, we were there with our 18 month old and he loved it, but there was loads for older children too. The shop on the site isn’t open between November & February but there’s a co-op a mile away, and we didn’t eat at the restaurant onsite because we went out to some nice local pubs, but it looked nice enough. The lodge is in a really nice position not really overlooked by anyone else, and felt very spacious & homely (with proper central heating too). The hot tub was also a winner! The kitchen is fully equipped and the TV has ALL the apps plus regular freeview TV channels too (I read an earlier review that said no normal TV but this must have been updated!).

We both had a lovely stay at Otter 4 lodge! We arrived a little earlier than the stated check in but Luke was on hand to let us in as the lodge was ready. The lodge was great and the hot tub was a fantastic extra for ultimate relaxation overlooking the pond. There are geese on the pond which can be a little noisy, but that is part of being in the countryside and we loved it and added something a little special to our stay. There is also a lovely pub a stones throw away (you can see this from the lodge) and is definitely worth a visit, the food was delicious! We didn't really leave the lodge except to go for a walk around the area. If you go right out of Hunters lodge there are beautiful nature reserves and we even spotted a Muntjac deer! There are also a few geocaches, if this is your thing. Definitely recommend Hunters moon for a relaxing break away. Thank you for having us :)

Absolutely gorgeous property hidden away in the woodland. The photos do not do it justice, it is much larger than the photos make and super cosy ! The cabin is a short walk from where you will park 5-10 minutes but the walk is lovely and very easy to find. The host was really helpful and replied very fast to any questions and queries. We will be looking to book again in the next year. The photos do not do the property justice !

Beautiful surroundings and well maintained accommodation exactly as described plenty of room for young family all interactions with Tracey were prompt and informative there was no need to contact Tracy during out stay we had no problems The accommodation was clean, well equipped and cosy. There was only a short walk to the swimming pool and restaurant. Hot tub a real bonus . There were supermarkets 10 mins by car to stock up but a store on site Plenty for kids and adults to do Restaurant not too expensive Soft play, indoor pool and outdoor park facilities great Pool facilities were clean with plenty of family changing cubicles Outdoor pool and some activities were not available due to the timing of our stay we only stayed a weekend before the season started but looking at the season activities this site offers an amazing selection of activities for all ages. Lots to see locally if you were to stay longer All the staff were polite and helpful Would highly recommend.

Great place to stay.The lodge had everything you would need to feel at home. Very clean and organised. The grounds/garden were very well maintained. All round Great place to stay and relax . The fishing pool was very good,fished really well for autumn time. l will definitely be booking this lodge again in the future.

Alicja's place surpassed expectations from the minute we arrived - the cabin is set overlooking gorgeous fields and the estate itself is stunning. The cabin was pristine, very warm and welcoming, and we had no trouble finding the place even getting in late in the dark. It was amazing that we could wander through the estate gardens and use the tennis court as we wished as well. Alicja's communication was great, she was very friendly and warm and made us feel so comfortable for our weekend away. We had full use of a BBQ area, and the location being a half an hour walk through lovely countryside to the lovely village of Colerne made the whole weekend 10/10. We would come back and stay in a heartbeat!

The cabin was perfect. I had a long stay of 9 nights during a pretty chilly period. With the log burner and all the blankets it made a very cosy stay. I wasn't brave enough to use the outdoor shower this time of year but a short walk to the barn with a nice hot shower and kitchen area. it's certainly an off grid experience but with the comfort of amenities close by. Gentle starter if you want to experience that kind of stay. Also sue and her partner were lovely and very helpful throughout. I was very interested on what they do on the farm with producing probiotics so they kindly gave me a mini tour and chats on this. Overall a peaceful experience in a lovely spot by the lake.

Lazy Dayz Lodge is a little gem, it’s very comfortable and cozy with everything you could need for a happy stay, even everything my dogs could need! Spotlessly clean and had everything it said in the description. Very private and peaceful setting on the site. Debbie has thought of everything for her guests, even fresh milk on arrival. Lots to do and see in the surrounding area, well worth a stay here, you won’t be disappointed, we had a lovely stay, real home from home.

Myself, my husband and my 2 boys had a lovely overnight stay in Anne’s ‘Little House’. Anne gave us a wonderful welcome, detailing all the things we needed to know about the house and area. She was super lovely with our boys- it’s the little things like remembering names and ages of your hosts and the reasons why they are visiting you. The Little House is much more spacious than what I thought when looking at the pictures. Lovely decor, nice shower and everything was clean and tidy- also very comfortable! Anne was also very accommodating towards our dog. We didn’t think to bring a dog bed and Anne came as if like magic with one, for our dog use during our stay. All in all The Little House is a lovely place to stay and we will be coming back in the summer time. Thank you again Anne!

Perfectly situated for exploring the local area with our dogs. We walked miles, canals, hills, NT places. 2 good local pubs (we chose to drive there) both dog friendly and nice food. Supermarkets not far, area is steeped in history. Would definitely revisit Log burner & plentiful supply of logs. Electric heaters in rest of cottage. Fab shower, endless hot water. We don’t tend to cook for ourselves when away so kitchen was adequate.

My family had an amazing couple of nights in The Barn. A rare find that ticked all the boxes for us. A beautiful property, peaceful, private and in a lovely location ideal for exploring further in to Dorset. Michael was brilliant with communication and Hayley was very welcoming when we arrived; highly recommended!

Fantastic cabin in a private area, peaceful and quiet. Went for walks around the lake, chilled in the cabin (super comfortable) and explored local sights (need a car for sure). Can't really walk to anywhere out of the site, or at least it's not obvious but if you have a car no problem. Would definitely come back here again!

Really enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and clean park. Lots of bird life to observe and enjoy. The Lodge is spacious and comfortable. Will definitely book again. Donna is a great host, communicates well.

Lovely place to stay! We were a group of 9 and they were very accommodating prior to our stay, setting the beds up how we wanted and adding an extra chair to the table. It was clean, attractive, and had all the amenities we needed to cook for ourselves. Swimming in the lake followed by the sauna was a highlight. Overall a wonderful weekend stay even in drizzly February!

Just the boost I needed a tranquil spot to sit in thoughts and recover from stress . Saw heron and had a lush sun rise coffee on deck I will be back and shall recommend to friends too Thankyou Jacqueline

What a beautiful Airbnb! Tim and Mia were very friendly and welcoming and Angie is the cutest dog. The Airbnb was so cosy, it had everything we needed and more! They were kind enough to supply homemade marmalade and cookies, and lovely fresh bread with butter and milk for tea / coffee. We would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to stay in the area, it’s so peaceful and you can hear the stream from the garden. It’s 10 minutes in the car to the local train station, which was great for us to go into Bath for the evening. Thanks for such a comfy and great stay, Tim and Mia, we will definitely be back! Thank you Helen and Barry for the welcoming and hassle free check in. I used the property for a one night stay. The location is walkable from the train station in town, which has many cafes and restaurants. My instructions were clear regarding the check-in process and I immediately felt at home. Temperatures outside were quite cool, but I was warm enough inside the property and the bed was really big and comfortable. The hosts left me a few extras, milk, tea bags etc. which was a nice touch. There is a small fridge. The area was very quiet, and slept very well. Plates and cutlery were provided for me to have breakfast, no problem. Everything was spotlessly clean, including the bathroom which had a nice spacious shower with good water pressure. I would be more than happy to recommend Helen and Barry's place to anyone wishing to stay in the area. Thank you again.

So nice to stay in such a warm, clean and new place with lovely view. Really quiet and dark - slept well on the comfy bed. A long stretch of single track road brings you here to this cosy wee cabin. Mere is lovely and has a Coop. Tons of great places to visit near by or to eat. Bit low on storage space for luggage/coats or groceries but am sure they will fix that to make it simply the perfect getaway space as only recently opened.

Lovely Lodge. Very clean and the host is very responsive and accomodating. Would highly recommend.
