What an absolute gem of a little getaway, Fiona is a great host and the shepherds hut is absolutely perfect for what we needed. The addition of homemade bread, milk, butter and jam in the fridge is such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Nothing will prepare you for how big and relaxing the hot tub is, we absolutely loved sitting in it and listening to the wildlife. The hut is really private and has its own little garden, we had breakfast lunch and dinner outside as we were so lucky with the weather! We will absolutely be back, thank you for having us!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

We didn't want to return home as we had had the perfect stay. This lovely little shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful farmlands, was just what we'd hoped for and it didn't disappoint! Our hosts Peter and Rachel, were very responsive to our needs, although, gave us our privacy and let us explore the surrounding areas. The hut had lots of little touches to it that made it feel homely and cute, although, functional and great use of a small space. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut had heating, wifi and a range of options on the tv after a tiring day of adventures! Excellent stay, would absolutely return, thank you! What a fantastic oasis of tranquility to visit. Terry and Jenny are excellent hosts and could not do more for you. The huts were all styled beautifully and were spotlessly clean. The attention to detail is fantastic and Jenny has thought of everything. Sitting by the firepit at night, with a glass in hand listening to the owls was priceless. Florence, Hector and the dogs were just an added bonus. We will definitely return.

Had a great weekend at Serena’s hut! Great communication from her with fab recommendations- the potting shed pub is gorgeous! No signal in the hut and little insulation but wood for the fire is provided and lots of blankets. Gorgeous location, thanks so much

Anthony’s shepherds hurt was beautiful, it’s just like the photos, the bed is comfy too. The hot tub was so private due to fencing, however there are houses Infront of the shepherds hut which is the back of peoples properties, maybe in the summer it’s more private due to the trees having leaves, but we just put the chairs where the hot tub is for more privacy. The shepherds hut was so lovely and so clean, and Anthony was a brilliant host, left us goodies and put thought into it, which meant a lot to us. The hot tub was lovely and Anthony started it off before we got there and it was perfect temperature, loads of recommendations given by Anthony and when we said about going into bath he recommended a car park, 25 minutes drive to bath, 10 minute drive to Bradford on Avon which is beautiful. Perfect location and perfect 2 day trip, will definitely visit again. Thank you :)

A lovely find, such a peaceful area. The hut was spotless, and the hosts were amazing at communicating. The golf buggy and added extras were a lovely touch. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Shepherd’s Hut! It was just as the photos on the listing showed - spotless and super cosy. William & Rowena were lovely hosts, answered all our questions and gave us recommendations! The only feedback we would give is to maybe add more visual descriptions of what the driveway/turning looks like or perhaps a small sign outside to look for?

We stayed here for valentines and it was very cosy and the hot tub was great, Duncan and Julie were very friendly and helpful, will definitely be back in the summer months

We had an amazing time there. Honestly photos in the listing doesn’t do it justice it’s even better in real life. There was a lot of attention paid to every detail in the hut. The river, the outdoor fireplace, the birds chirping… was perfect. Not to forget to mention the amazing breakfast served in a basket, probably one of the best yogurt bowls we’ve eaten. We will 100% recommend it to our friends!

We booked both Shepard’s huts to stay with family. They were spotlessly clean, the kids loved the wood pile and we made use of the BBQ / fire pit. Thanks for a lovely stay, we’ll be back

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiona’s Shepherds Hut. It was decorated and finished to a high standard, very comfortable and actually feels bigger inside than expected! The log fire was great (although it gets very hot very quickly, probably our fault and put one too many logs on, we actually had to open a window at one point!). Fiona was very responsive to our questions and queries, including when the solar power went off due to the poor weather. (The farm shop directly over the road also do an incredible breakfast!) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and is an ideal base for a quiet weekend away. Thank you Fiona!

Our family of 4 plus our dog had a wonderful stay. The huts were clean, tidy and well equipped with everything we needed. The space, although small, was very versatile and the thoughtful planning and decor of how it was put together meant that it fulfilled all our needs for our time there. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and communicative and had a really handy folder of information available in the huts that also included fab info on the local area. The area is beautiful and great for adventures and lovely long dog walks. We made the most of the outdoor space and kitchen which the kids loved. There were some lovely breakfast treats ready for when we arrived and a bottle of Prosecco which was a lovely touch. Was an all round great stay and we made some fabulous memories. Would highly recommend!

We had an amazing time staying in Emily's shepherds hut. The hut itself was beautiful inside and really cosy but still plenty spacious enough for two people. The swan pub was a great recommendation for food and drink and was only a 20 second walk away, perfect for stumbling back to the comfy bed in the hut after a few.

fantastic stay, Rebecca gave really clear instructions on how to find her, arranged parking permits for our stay and was very responsive to our questions. well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, including milk and crumpets in the fridge, and tea and coffee, both the bed and sofa bed were very comfy and the shower had great water pressure. would definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely stay again when I'm visitng Bath

What a beautiful stay we had at the luxury shepherds hut. Everything was so carefully thought out- from the rose petals on the bed to all the finishes around the hut. The hut was well heated and had everything we needed. Went to a day trip to Frome which we really recommend. Charlotte is a friendly and responsive host.

Bex’s and Bertie were very welcoming and helpful with a list of things to do in the local area. The hut was very clean and comfortable with lots of cooking equipment etc to use as well as wood and kindling for the outside fireplace. Highly recommended!

My partner and I had the most incredible stay, we cooked on an open fire, surrounded by beautiful wildlife and bathed in the hot tub looking at the stars. Angela was an amazing host, the place was perfectly described and no stone was left unturned. We did take a stroll to 2 of the local pubs and ate at one of them on our second night but we were looking for rural, peaceful and private and the hut delivered all that and more. We took a stroll after check out to stour head as per Martyn’s recommendation and it was beautiful. We fully intend to return sometime in the future. Thanks again to Angela & Martyn for being fabulous hosts.

A lovely place with top-quality touches and great attention to detail. We had such a relaxing stay - it was so peaceful looking out over the fields with horses. The bed was comfortable, and the whole space felt warm and welcoming. Parking was easy, and we really appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket with breakfast items, drinks, and snacks. Dilly was a fantastic host, and the location made for a nice walk into Lacock. We would love to come back.

Great communication with Sharon from my first enquiry.. the grounds where the Shepherds hut is located are stunning with wild life on your door step… The hut is beautifully equipped and presented and can not be faulted! We would stay again for sure.
