The property was superb, even better than the photographs. It’s ideally situated for access to Bowness and surrounding area. The views from the outside terrace were fabulous - even though the weather was mixed! The hot tub and games room were well used and enjoyed by our mixed age group. Overall a brilliant holiday in a beautiful home and David our host met us at the property and even allowed us in early!

We have had a wonderful Easter weekend at Kim’s Place the Old School House was great! It was the right size for us as a family hence why we booked it, we enjoyed the open dining living area, the little added touches like dressing gowns, and it had the essentials for our weekend. It was a short drive to Cockermouth where we went to eat or collect takeaway from restaurants. Beautiful views and surroundings. Was a home from home for us, had everything we needed. Lovely quirky cottage in a great location for all Coniston has to offer. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay, the kids loved the foosball table. The parking is a little tricky, especially if you have a bigger car, the video provided for parking is very helpful. The hosts were great, we had a slight issue with the locks but they sorted it for us promptly which we were very grateful for. If you’d like a unique property within walking distance of coniston water and plenty of places to eat this is a great option. We would however advise booking to eat if you want a table in the evening during holiday time, super busy! Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Beautifully furnished house, perfect for what we all wanted. Location even better than i expected, no need to use the car depending how far you want to venture., lovely shops, walks and restaurants. Shame we could only stay the 2 nights so will need to come back when we get chance. Thanks Suzanne

We stayed for 2 nights over the Easter holidays. The house was clean and well stocked! Keswick is walkable which was great for us. Lots of tips given prior to check in.

This was our 2nd stay at this lovely house. The location is nice & quiet & perfect for walking in the surrounding area & for the village pubs, shops etc. The house is very clean, comfortable & warm & is well kitted out with everything you need. Pictures don’t quite do this place justice! We had an amazing time, such a cute apartment and lovely views. Away from the busyness of the larger towns but still close enough to access. Louise was very helpful and the place was exactly what we were after!

We stayed at Thomas Gray House, 2 adults with 3 teenagers. We absolutely loved the location, stunning setting and lots of nearby walks with great views. A couple of really nice pubs to walk to in local village and we combined it with a trip to morecambe on one day and Windermere on another day which were both within about half an hours drive. Jerry was uber responsive for any questions and gave nice video instructions on how to access property etc.

Perfect place to explore The Lakes, quiet retreat from the busy main street. Close to all amenities and the beautiful lake.

This is a lovely flat with wonderful views. It is conveniently located in the centre of Keswick. The flat is well equipped. We loved it!

Excellent Airbnb with everything as described and to a high standard. Friendly hosts who provide a very cosy and comfortable place to stay. The location is peaceful and close to the waterways and beautiful views and sunsets. Good choice of eateries close by. Highly recommended.

Great apartment, perfect for what we needed. We parked outside to unpack in the 1 hour free parking spaces then took the car to the local carpark where we left it for 3 days. The apartment is in a good location.

Wonderful place to stay near Wastwater. Beautiful flat, nicely decorated, comfortable and spotlessly clean. On the first floor with outdoor steps. Easy short walk down to the lake to swim or launch paddlboards. Can walk fells from the flat, perfect location. Really enjoyed our stay and would return.

It's located in a very convenient place and we had everything we needed for our stay. The dedicated parking bay was a massive relief considering that the street parking was completely taken up even on the relatively quiet working weekdays. We had a slight issue once where someone had parked in our only parking bay when we came back after a drive, but luckily there was an empty space next to it where we parked instead. We let Liam know about the problem and he immediately looked into it and made sure that we won't have an issue. He was very responsive and helpful which made our stay stress-free. It wasn't the most quiet place though because of a group of people talking loudly very loudly in the car park at night. But this is probably a one off problem. Overall, we had a great stay!

What an amazing property! Beautiful inside and out, really close to the town centre but very peaceful with gorgeous views. The hosts were really responsive with clear instructions and recommendations for parking etc- this place was exactly what I needed and I loved every minute

Amazing place with awesome hosts. Mark and Deborah. They were great with communication, always responsive and helpful with local recommendations. My family and I had an amazing time at Maple leaf cottage. The house was immaculately clean and well decorated. Great access to swimming pool my kids enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely visit Maple leaf cottage again.

Just wow. What a beautiful place, and even more wonderful hosts, Mark and Ruth. Staying here felt like stepping back in time, bringing back nostalgic memories of summer trips to the Lakes as a child. It’s a warm, traditional, and welcoming place, perfect for families or couples looking for a peaceful getaway. The hot tub and sauna were fantastic, properly heated and well-maintained, a cut above the lukewarm versions we’ve experienced elsewhere. The grounds are truly stunning: expansive gardens, a forest and stream for kids to explore, and even a private stretch of beach on a secluded part of Lake Windermere. It’s just far enough from Bowness to enjoy the tranquility, but close enough for an easy drive or quick taxi ride into town. Truly a special place. We couldn’t recommend it more!

Booking the boat with Rob was straightforward, and his clear, brilliant demonstration made it easy for us to operate the boat independently. We had an absolutely lovely time staying at High Swinside. Diana was an amazing host and went out of her way to make us all feel comfortable. I would highly recommend any of her cottages.

We had a fantastic time at the Wren, beautiful views, my cockerpoo Marley thought he was in heaven, having breakfast on the patio with views over the lake was bliss, lovely walks, would definitely go back next year👍👍👍

A wonderful place to stay. Just outside Keswick but a lovely walk into town with the dog! Great location to visit so many beautiful places. Has all the equipment you need, lovely enclosed garden and amazing to have a washing machine. We've already booked to come back next year 😃
