My stay with Emily was excellent. The proximity to UC Berkeley and various stores makes the room a very good accommodation for visiting scholars (and others working at the university). I also got to know Emily's son and her dog, everyone made me feel at home from the beginning, even though I was far away (from Germany). I can only recommend Emily's place :-)

What a delightful stay! Leda is a fantastic host, and her home is absolutely a great find. So quiet and safe. The house backs up onto a salt water lagoon—it’s a nature lover’s paradise. The beds are the best, excellent sleep is in your future here. The location is conveniently located to jump on the light rail to the ferry building and then San Francisco, or go to the Marin coast, or Sonoma. One should not let this opportunity pass by.

Beautiful setting in a quiet neighborhood close to Occidental and Sebastopol. The views from the bedrooms of the apple orchard and the deer grazing under the trees, made for an idyllic location. Al and Dee were very friendly and we enjoyed talking with them about the area, etc. Would love to stay again in the future!

Had a fantastic stay at Janna’s place. It’s perfectly located and walkable to downtown Napa. Janna was kind enough to leave breakfast out for me and my partner before a very early half marathon race. The house was lovely and clean, and I’d be happy to stay again!

Danna is a lovely host! She made delicious breakfast and also hosted house dinners, where she made a simple but delicious 3-course meal! The room is beautiful and has a stunning view. I also love the neighborhood. I had a great time and hope to be back soon!

We had a wonderful stay with Sandor, Giuliana and Georgio (their chihuahua)! They were extremely welcoming, kind and generous hosts and it was a real pleasure to meet them, hear their stories and act on their excellent recommendations. We stayed with our 5 month old baby who they loved meeting. They made us a lovely breakfast each morning, welcomed us with wine and cheese, and even offered us dinner. Their house is wonderful, ideally located to explore the city on foot or by public transport. The room is very comfortable with a good bed and plenty of space. The road noise was surprisingly minimal given the location and didn’t cause us any concern or issues. We would absolutely recommend staying with them and we’d be delighted to return someday.

It was the perfect place for my trip - Deb was a very kind host and everything was just as stated. I hope to stay here again on my next visit

It’s a great location in a quiet and pleasant old Berkeley neighborhood. They’ve really maximized the rentable space in the home, so getting to my nicely appointed room was a bit awkward, but following their clear instructions I got to the room without any trouble. It was spacious, well equipped (fridge, microwave, coffeemaker) with nice light through the windows and skylights. They do a great job providing snacks and homemade goodies. Would happily stay there again.

Loved our stay at the Inn. Lindsey met us & was so gracious. She gave easily understandable instructions & was very welcoming. We particularly enjoyed breakfast around the dining room table with the other guests. Getting to share the experiences & recommendations from others regarding the places to visit, where to get the type of food or wine we were interested in was great. Close walking distance to restaurants, shopping, tasting rooms yet quiet & peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

I can’t say enough good things about Heather’s home! It was a magical place surrounded by lush greenery and mountains in the distance. I got to say hello to the horses, cats, and dog before going to sleep on a comfy mattress. I’ll definitely be back!

This place is dreamy! I stayed in the farmhouse and it’s the place where you check in. It’s a beautiful building with a living room and a fireplace and lots of tables for eating. The food they make here is outstanding. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is shared with the people staying in the other room in the farm house. The other rentals on this property are all within earshot. The staff is accommodating and energetic. This place is great for a big event or a quiet getaway. I will definitely be back!

Gorgeous cottage, it made us feel like in a fairytale. The host was really sweet, gave us local recommendations and made it possible for us to join breakfast last minute (which was extremely yummy). Would definitely return again.

Pamela and Richard went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and acquainted with the space. They met us for check in and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed many a wonderful conversation with them throughout our stay over breakfast which they thoughtfully set out each morning. Their house was stunning and walking distance from Piedmont and College Ave which made our stay very fun and easygoing. There were so many personal touches along the way, including homemade jam and honey with the breakfast. We would be honored to be able to stay again sometime.

Just do it. Steve is not only a creative person who fills his home with art and engaging objects, plus a mesmerizing koi pond. He's also a warm and welcoming host who anticipated our needs so well and was extremely gracious. The place was great to stay in, and unlike any Airbnbs these days, it's actually his home and he actually wants to host you well. Steve's recommendations for what to do in the area are worth heeding as well.

What an Oasis! I’d give more than 5 stars if possible. June makes a great breakfast and Paul is a wealth of local information. The pool was perfect too!

Fantastic spot to stay in Healdsburg! Breakfast and early morning coffee were exceptional as well.

had a last minute change to my reservation and they were very kind and flexible about it. Very cool old house, private bathroom, free breakfast. I will definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Stayed here on my trip up the west coast

We had a great time here! Becky, the innkeeper, was very kind and knowledgeable about the area and cooked everybody some mean pancakes in the morning. I want to emphasize how good the free homemade breakfast was. We will be back!

Darcy's and Nick's is a true b&b in the old-school sense. My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous, home-cooked breakfast every morning. The breakfast selection changed every day. As guest Dave-from-Bozeman wrote, Darcy bakes awesome sourdough bread, and it was freshly out of the oven for us to enjoy when we arrived. So, our stay started out on a high note (which was sustained throughout the stay). The space is clean, artfully decorated, comfortable, roomy, and the area is quiet. The location is great: about 1/2 block from Golden Gate Park. The hot tub on the upper patio was a delightful place to relax after long walks around the city. Darcy is the ultimate host (Nick was out of town, so unfortunately we did not get to meet him): she communicates quickly and clearly, and she is a great conversationalist. By the time we checked out, we had become friends with her. This was a 5-star stay in every aspect, and we look forward to our next stay at Darcy's and Nick's!

We were very pleased with our stay! It was the first time my children have experienced a bed-and-breakfast. They really enjoyed the family style breakfast. We loved the beaches and the details of staying in this gem of a home, with so many old world style details. We would stay here again the next time we're in the area! The inn is managed very well and capably by Becky. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful place and inspiring. Feels really comfortable and homey with the internal decor. I love the scent options in the toilet.
