Lovely house and perfect location. Worked great since we all got our own bedroom and had a full kitchen. Would absolutely stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at Adrian’s two-room bungalow! The privacy was unbeatable, surrounded by huge redwoods, with great decks and a great private hot tub. The Frank Lloyd Wright-style design added a unique touch, and the container pool was really cool—would’ve loved to try a cold plunge. Perfect location near Bodega Bay and wine country. Adrian was a fantastic communicator, and everything was well thought out. It was Valentine’s weekend very romantic, and we would definitely come back!

My family of 5 adults had a wonderful, peaceful stay. A few of us rarely left - it was so nice. Others enjoyed nearby hikes. We all cooked a lot so the well stocked kitchen was great. The home had every pot, pan, utensil we could possibly want, and Surf Market and Gualala Market had everything we needed (including Duck Fat!). The house was warm and cozy (great fireplace, lots of wood, excellent heat) despite all the amazing windows and skylights that looked out on the dripping redwood forest. The hot tub was used repeatedly. Furniture was comfy for readers and we all had a good time binging on favorite shows in the evening. lots of cozy blankets, towels and comfy beds/bedding. When we come again (and we will!), we might throw a few table top task lights in the car (or perhaps they are readily available had we asked) b/c we could have used brighter light for cooking in the kitchen, and activities at the dining room table. All in all, a winner for us!

Very convenient location. Easy access to freeway, food,etc. House was very clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated. Plenty of room for family of 4.

What a great weekend stay! My partner and I stayed for Valentine’s Day weekend and had a lovely time. Valon’s home makes for a sweet little private getaway. He was also very responsive and so kind! There was all you needed in the home for a longer stay which we would have done but we got beat to the punch by other guests on the way hahaha! Would highly recommend and we definitely can see ourselves returning with another couple! Also so many cute places to wine and dine just up the road!

This place is a true dream getaway! It was perfect from top to bottom and I felt so prepared for even the smallest of details because of the great communication. I have lived and stayed in this area my whole life and this spot has jumped to the top of my list for recommending friends and family to.

We had a peaceful and lovely stay! The cabin was cozy and was close to many hiking and lookouts spots. Great place to get back to after a day of exploring to relax.

We spent 2 nights at Emir’s place with our toddler and our dog. It was spacious for our needs and the open floor plan made it easy for us to keep an eye on both the “baby” baby and fur baby while enjoying a good time with each other! Emir went above and beyond to adjust our booking from 3 nights to 2 and get us late checkout to time it with our toddler’s nap time. During our stay, the skylight cap directly above the kitchen fell and shattered which was unfortunate and scary. Emir was very responsive and assured us that he will fix it. We did notice another solar tunnel cap missing in the laundry room. Perhaps all solar caps should be inspected and redone to ensure no mishaps happen. It would have been great to have blackout curtains in the bedrooms. It was a tad difficult to get our toddler to stay asleep without it. All in all, we had a lovely time at Emir’s place. The views were spectacular and the kitchen and place well equipped with everything you would need!

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at Christopher’s listing! It was the perfect place for our yearly friends reunion. We had everything we needed and the accommodations were top-notch. Highly recommend this listing and will likely return the next time I need a listing in the area!

Gina’s place is a sanctuary. The views are absolutely stunning and you feel transported, like you’ve gone to a tropical paradise. Everything was spotless and beautiful and at the same time cozy. I could not recommend this place enough.

Great place for our extended family. Enough nooks and crannies so peace and quiet was attainable for those who needed it. Some bedrooms are near the main area and some are remote and quiet.. A masseuse we retained used one of the bedrooms near the hot tub every day and it worked perfectly. Our family was able to really relax because the decor is modest and not new. It is very clean, and quite eclectic and interesting. We have stayed in B&Bs which were so fancy and pristine we were constantly on our guard. We were very comfortable here. The kitchen is very well stocked and the dining area is very large with seating for more than 12 people. The pool table was a hit! The road up takes a bit of getting used to, but no one found it too difficult. We had as many as 8 cars ( from a Prius to a 4 wheel drive Suburban) going up and down the road with no problems. Ample parking - four spaces right out front and 4 or more behind the house. We all had a great time and will be back.

Frank was very easy to work with and was extremely responsive. Penngrove is such a quaint town. Franks place feels like a treehouse! So beautiful inside and out.

Our family of three really enjoyed the stay in Calistoga. The house is great and very clean. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. The house is close to 5 min away from downtown and we drove there a few times for meals. We also visited the petrified forest which is about 15 min away. Overall was a great stay.

Our stay was fantastic—peaceful, quiet, and exactly what we were looking for. The host was very communicative and provided clear instructions well in advance, making check-in a breeze. Everything listed in the amenities was provided, and the hot tub was easy to use and already heated upon arrival, which was a nice touch. We even had some wildlife visitors, adding to the serene atmosphere. While it’s a little outside the city, the tranquility and nature make it absolutely worth it. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!

Exceptional hilltop home! Highly recommend. Full wall of windows offers stunning views, and living room and kitchen are flooded with natural light. Immaculately clean and thoughtfully designed throughout. Entire home has a designer touch. Well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, furniture and beds very comfortable. We enjoyed exploring the fragrant, well-maintained spring garden, with numerous blooming daffodils and hyacinths. Walking paths throughout. Geraldine was responsive and helpful, providing great recommendations for local hikes and restaurants that proved spot-on. Geraldine has clearly put careful thought into creating a comfortable, peaceful retreat. Perfect for anyone seeking a quiet getaway in a beautiful setting

Velouria made our little birthday getaway so memorable. A one of a kind cabin. Hope to come back again some day!

Bob’s place was amazing! We had such a good time and bob had all the instructions laid out and prepared for everything to make it easier for us!

If you’re looking for a place tucked away in the redwoods, look no further! The setting is so tranquil, yet also very convenient to get to Guerneville and the surrounding areas. Would definitely stay again!

Wow! What a fantastic value and so close to so many magical places! Monte Rio Park is wonderful, with scenic hiking trails, seasonal creeks, and stunning redwoods. Jenner is just a short drive away and offers plenty of beach access. We also spent a lot of time in Bodega Bay and Point Reyes—both a bit farther south, but absolutely worth the drive. On your way out of town, be sure to stop in Duncans Mills and grab the spicy mustard ham and cheese croissant at the local coffee shop—SO good! A couple of things to note: If you're driving a large truck or RV, the narrow road can be a bit tricky due to parked cars. It's definitely doable but worth mentioning. Also, if you're bringing pets, be aware that there’s no grass or designated potty area for dogs. There is a small dirt patch under the stairs that became our go-to spot, but there’s no grass at the house or on the street. We 100% recommend this place and would love to visit again! Chad was a terrific host.

Awesome clean and cozy space. Jacuzzi in the woods and the wood burning stove really made it very special.

The view!! Melody Cabin is cozy comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, plus bonus of w/d, hot tub and wild turkeys in the foggy mornings and bright stars at night. It was serene and relaxing. We also enjoyed the art and reliable wifi (tmobile had no reception, while googleFi had limited)! Finding the place at night was helped by red string lights on the outside of unit and clear instructions from Brittany and Bob. The drive up had some potholes and a bit steep in some areas but our economy rental car did just fine. Bring wood if you'd like a fire; the kitchen is on one end, then the bedroom where the entrance door is, then the bathroom with w/d, shower and the very effective heater. Because the heater is on the other end, at times I'd get a little cold while at kitchen table and wished we'd remembered firewood. But never too cold as cabin is well insulated. Would definitely stay again. Thank you, Brittany and Bob!!

We had a wonderful stay in Little River. The house was cute and cozy with all the amenities. We were never left searching for something we needed. It’s centrally located while being enough off of the beaten path to be incredibly peaceful and private. If we ever get back to this remote gem in Northern California, we will certainly try to stay here!
