This was such an incredible stay. We loved the farm and so did our dogs. They spent a long weekend off leash romping around with Luke’s very sweet dog and admiring his stunning Percheron and thoroughbred. My husband and I agreed, petting horses is good for the soul. His log cabin was disassembled, re located, and re built by him. He’s adorned it with a selection of antiques and reclaimed pieces that are truly enchanting and create such a fabulously unique atmosphere that was truly one of a kind. Prior to our stay I had read the reviews mentioning he had antiques and asked about local stores. Not only did he make recommendations, he stopped in 3 locations and got cards for us from each and let them know we may stop by prior to our arrival. We are already looking at dates for our next stay. This place is truly a slice of heaven on earth and an ode to unique and wonderful things that have existed in the world long before we existed and a display of creativity and craftsmanship. Spent New Year's with my husband and two Yorkies nestled deep in the woods, and it was everything I hoped for—and more! The property is surrounded by towering trees, offering a sense of tranquility and seclusion that's hard to come by. The bed deserves a special mention— it was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in! We spent all three days hiking some of the best trails and relaxed comfortably watching TV in the evenings with a nice glass of Malbec. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat where you can reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, this Airbnb is the perfect choice. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you Jerry and Chris.

Had a great time. Rainy weekend, didn't end up getting to see the animals but a wonderful time nonetheless hearing the rain. Dan was a great host. Recommend for a quiet weekend away.

We enjoyed our stay, houses were exactly as advertised. Host was extremely responsive over all a great place to rent.

This was the perfect spot for our trip. A friend of mine and I brought our teenage sons for a quick weekend snowboarding trip, and needed somewhere with three sleeping areas. The loft had 2 beds and a fully bath which was exactly what we needed for the boys. It was super convenient to everything with a shuttle stop right out front. Plenty of parking, great amenities, clean, and easy to find! Also very cozy! We’ll definitely return!

I am so glad we chose this spot to enjoy for a little getaway outside of Charlottesville! The place was spotless and had all the amenities you could ask for! We loved having the hot tub to enjoy at the end of the night and the unforgettable view of the mountains. Jamie was responsive and gave clear instructions for the place and the pictures were very accurate to the place! About a 15 minute drive from the heart of the city and SO close to various wineries/cideries and other activities. Highly recommend this spot!!

The place was very clean and perfect for us — 2 couples and a couple of small dogs. We came to town to enjoy some skiing at wintergreen and found the location convenient for access to the resort at a very fair price. It was a very cold weekend so we didn’t get much opportunity to enjoy the outdoor patio or fire pit but we enjoyed the view of the beautiful creek.
