The place is great. Host is very accommodating and is easy to work with. Location is very nice and close to everything you need. I highly recommend and will definitely use them in the future.

I cannot say enough positive things about Susan's place and Susan herself. Her location is a home away from home. I felt right at home the moment I walked in. Everything was neat, clean, organized and though there was everything you could want or need for your stay, the host would still check-in to be sure you had all you needed and all was good. The house is very pretty, inside and out. The neighborhood was quiet, and felt very safe. The host herself, Susan, is very caring and beyond hospitable, as well as easy and interesting to converse with. As it shows in the pictures, she does have two small dogs who are well behaved and adorable. I could not recommend this location enough, especially for the rate.

The hosts really did think of everything and it showed! One of the most convenient and comfortable rentals I’ve stayed at. Great location just minutes to restaurants and shops. The neighborhood was quiet. The apartment was clean and nicely renovated. It felt more like a house than an apartment. Everything looked to be new. The beds were comfortable, I believe they were memory foam with plenty of pillows and bedding. The bathroom had lots of towels and the shower had great water pressure. shampoo conditioner and body wash was provided which made it convenient not having to pack my own. Each room had its own temperature control. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to make a meal. I was surprised how nice and comfortable everything was.

This was such a comfortable stay! Everything in this home helped you feel relaxed. Each room had functional items and were not overcrowded with furniture. The outside was well lit with motion censors lights. The Host (Cody) was very punctual, kind and professional with communication with me. Directions were very clear and easy to understand. Peaceful neighborhood and beautiful scenery around the home. Perfect place to stay.

Tom was a great host! The space was very clean upon arrival and lots of basic necessities were provided. Everything inside and outside of the house is well kept and maintained. Host was very communicative throughout my entire stay. I stayed in the house for over two months and never encountered any issues. Overall 10/10 stay I would definitely stay here again!

We moved out of state 5 years ago and this is our first time back to Rockford together. Bonnie’s place made us feel so at home. It is truly a gem! Not to mention It’s A Wing Thing is close by & Sams Restaurant delivered to the area!! The Airbnb is just as described, the bed was comfortable, decor was beautiful, and the space was more than enough!! Bonnie was very responsive and helpful! We’ll definitely be staying at her place when we’re back in town!!

I use airbnb extensively for our business travels. Definitely within the top 3 of airbnb's we have stayed. Huge home with everything you need right on the river. Very upscale and amenities to match. Right on the river and great for evening walks, etc.

Anthony's home is a cozy place to stay. We enjoyed the cute toy corner and the table had place for all of us. The shower felt new and the pressure was good. Anthony was kind and responsive.

We had a good stay as we were in town for a funeral. Lots of space for kids and extra family to stop by made it a perfect home. The lower level arcade games were not working, which was a bummer for the kids - but the foosball table came in clutch. The house is equipped with everything you’d need to make your own meals. Would recommend bottled water for coffee and drinking as the local water is a bit hard. Hot water is always available even after several showers! 🙌🏼 Will definitely return if we are in the area again!

Bonnie was very friendly, responsive, and easy to work with! The unit is located on the right side of house with private entrance and up a flight of steep-ish stairs. As of 11/2/24, the bottom unit is rented with permanent renters. Bonnie had a full bed in the unit when we stayed but will be changing it to a queen bed. The home is historic and has heating and cooling shared with the bottom unit; you can’t control it yourself. Thankfully, there are no cats in the home or the unit as we have cat allergies. The unit features a full kitchen, smaller bathroom, and comfortable living space. We were able to log into our streaming accounts while we were there; the internet worked well. A great location to the Anderson Japanese Garden and FLW Laurent House!

Originally from Rockford but moved to Arizona in 2011. Recently, my Mom passed and hubby and I have been back and forth from AZ handling her estate--going through her house, funeral plans, etc. and this particular trip was for her actual services that had been planned back in January (she technically passed in December). Anyways, we timed the drive from this house to her house and it was something like 4 minutes away so for us, the location was awesome. It made the days/nights we were over at her house going through things easy because after a long day of that you just want to go home and relax (back to where you're staying) and not have to drive super far to get there. So that was a plus! House is older and definitely needs updating. House needs boxes of kleenex. House needs better cleaning between guests. Other than a small heat/thermostat issue upon arrival it was a good stay. Didn't use the pool/hot tub but did play a couple games downstairs. Quiet area!
