What a fantastic place for an overnight stay. We had stayed previously in Winona in another airbnb location run by Adam. This, too, was spacious, clean, private, and comfortable. We look forward to returning!

We loved staying here! The views of the river were phenomenal and the place was so cozy! 100% would stay again!!

We stayed here since it was right next to WSU and we were visiting our daughter. The location was perfect and the size was exactly what we needed.

This space was perfect for our big group. Plenty of seating and sleeping arrangements for everyone with tons of extra towels, pillows, and bedding. The location is a quiet and private spot along the river with beautiful views. We liked that it was within walking distance from downtown Winona and loved hanging out around a fire at the end of the day. Julie went above and beyond as a host, was easy to communicate with, and flexible with our checkout time so we could spend more time enjoying each other’s company in her great space!

This is a clutter free, dust free, spacious, comfortable, affordable and calming space to stay while visiting Winona. Adam is quick to respond and amiable. Fully equipped for making meals. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved where we stayed. The place was relaxing, cozy, and trendy. Adam goes above and beyond to make sure that his guests feel comfortable and he is quick to get back to any questions. We will definitely go back and stay in one of his lovely Airbnb‘s.

Amazing! We stayed in 8 different places across the Driftless Area over two months, and this was by far our favorite. Beautiful interior, well thought out use of space, great kitchen, easy access, and lots of interesting historical photos of Rollingstone. Every little detail was pleasant and thoughtful - the practical entryway and closet for winter clothes, the welcoming snacks, the automatically timed candles, the earplugs in the bedside drawer for light sleepers, the extra toiletries and first aid kit in the bathroom, the custom soap, the varied selection of reading material…the list goes on. We especially enjoyed the espresso machine. This is also the only AirBnB I have ever stayed in that had a knife sharpener - it makes a world of difference! We really enjoyed our stay and would be delighted to come again.

This place is very nice and comfortable. It is centrally located and easy to get to great restaurants and shops. Everything went very smoothly. We were there during the winter and in the middle of the week. There was very little street noise. We only used the king bed, which was perfect--not too soft, not too hard. I might mention that the heating was a little noisy (we had to turn up the volume on the TV to hear it over the fan), but it didn't keep us up at night. The place is well equipped and made for a great getaway!

We rented Tanya’s place as overflow for our out of town Thanksgiving guests. The home is very comfortable and in a perfect location.

Everything as expected. Nice quiet neighborhood. Lots of natural light in the home made for a pleasant stay.

David's place was the perfect spot for my co-workers to rest and recharge each night after long days at work for a two week assignment. Would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, which made it easy for us to prepare meals. The location was excellent—a short drive from the La Crosse Rotary Christmas lights, which we really enjoyed visiting during our (winter) stay. While it was nice in winter, we can imagine it being even more perfect in spring or summer, given its proximity to the river and nearby parks. The hosts were fantastic—they communicated very well prior to check-in and even went the extra mile to repair the a last min issue with the refrigerator in time for our stay. Their attention to detail and effort truly made a difference. We would definitely love to return!

From beginning to end this was the perfect stay. Traveling with my parents to an Airbnb, can be nerve wracking, as they are quite discerning. To my delight, they couldn't have been more pleased. We got to all stay together, in a home, that felt like we were seeing a real piece of the town. The thoughtful touches, the comfortable beds, and the clear care and love they put into this place is apparent from every angle. After the airlines lost my baggage and delivered it to the Airbnb a day earlier than my check-in, Celeste went out of her way to meet the courier late at night to ensure my belongings were safe. Furthermore, after being out all day during a snowstorm, we came back home to shoveled and salted walk ways. Do not hesitate to stay here for one second. We will be back.

Quaint home along the Mississippi River that is well-stocked and the perfect place for a cozy fall gathering (especially with the pellet stove running). Instructions were clear and helpful, Andrew was quick to respond and is a great host! The loft area could be difficult for older guests or small children to access, but fun for kids of the right age.

Felt like home away from home! Loved our morning walks around the lake, puzzle and movie nights in the cozy living room, and the kitchen had all the cooking supplies we needed for our week at the Stone’s Throw Bungalow. Thanks a million Megan. Would definitely stay again!
