A quiet and peaceful location, within minutes of many choices of restaurants and shopping. Joan and Wayne are easy-going and very responsive to any questions or concerns.

Our stay was great. The lake is beautiful. Plenty of parking. Condo was very clean. Owner was friendly and responsive and let us check in early, which made our timing much easier as we were trying to meet up with family in the area and needed to unload our car. Will definitely be back!

This place works very well for me when I am in Haleyville. And it is conveniently located to everything in town.

My family had such a wonderful time staying at Joan’s place! It felt just like home & the treats were a great added bonus! She was amazingly sweet and thoughtful (she made sure we had a Christmas tree set up for my little). The house is perfectly located for all the fun things to do around town. We definitely will check to see if it’s available for any future bookings.

The Smith Lake apartment was a total success! Besides being an incredibly beautiful place to stay with stunning views of the lake and the grounds, the apartment itself provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay: proximity to the water, privacy, and many amenities! Since our son was fishing a tournament, we actually had two boats. The dock provided plenty of space and cover for the boats, as well as electricity to charge the batteries! Each morning we could just walk a few steps out to the water and be on our fishing way! One of our favorite “amenities” was the opportunity to meet and get to know the property owners Jonas and Doris. They showed us around their beautifully landscaped property and offered their assistance for anything we might need. What a very special couple they are! We would have no reservations in recommending this gorgeous getaway and are hoping to return in the near future.

Plenty of room, very clean, close proximity to downtown Cullman. Rhonda had local recommendations, great instructions, and a welcoming place. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Host went above and beyond to create a magical atmosphere, complete with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree that perfectly captured the holiday spirit. The property exceeded our expectations in every way: safe, quiet, and picturesque. The kitchen was generously stocked with hot chocolate and coffee, while the bathroom boasted an impressive array of amenities, including shampoo, towels, shaving kits, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and makeup remover. Host's exceptional hospitality and attention to detail made our stay truly unforgettable. We can't wait to return to this incredible haven! Highly recommended – a must-visit destination!

This was a wonderful location/home for our annual ladies trip. One of the best places on Smith Lake and I would highly recommend this home for a large group or family. Amanda provided all the information to make check-in/out quick and easy.

Bill and Brea were timely and communicative hosts. We were greeted with a kind welcome gift and a space that was exactly as described. In particular, the kitchen was very well stocked - better than most rentals I’ve had before - and the coffee bar had all we needed already there for the brew-lovers. We used this house for a working retreat, and it had plenty of common space options, including the upstairs loft with a Roku TV that allowed us to cast our work for viewing and discussion. We all said we’d return, and we hope next time is lake season!

Great Lakehouse, its big and roomy, has all the amenities you would need and a great view.

We have used Airbnb before but this was by far the most satisfactory, comfortable, elegant, tasteful lodging place we have stayed in. It was overall spotlessly clean and so well appointed and comfortable that we felt right at home. The view of Lewis Smith Lake from the back porch was always breathtaking, no matter the weather. We would love to come back! Thank you, Connie, for being such a gracious host.

My girlfriends and I stayed here for a girl's weekend and it was just beautiful - very spacious and comfortable and the view can't be beat. It was super clean and really well equipped and the host left a beautiful bouquet of flowers and box of pastries for us and we thought that was a wonderful touch and a warm welcome into their home. The location was absolutely perfect! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
