Hone was truly beautiful! Recently renovated in a great mid century model. We had a group of 11 and we were all at home instantly! Will definitely stay there again!!

Wonderful cottage. Peaceful surroundings. Lots of open grounds and 30 min drive to Charlottesville. Lots of room to spread out. Wonderful weekend getaway.

We had a lovely stay in "The Small House" over President's day weekend. The house was spacious enough for 5 guests and our dog. Loved that it was decorated for Valentine's day! The house was well situated in the valley so there was easy access to Wintergreen, hiking trails and all the breweries and wineries!!

This place is in a great location and close to many breweries and wineries. The house is clean and exactly as per the description with many extras. The hosts are very quick to respond and go above and beyond. Although we had an issue with the refrigerator not working on arrival (it looks like a pretty new refrigerator and things often break without notice), the host had a mini fridge delivered the same day! We really appreciated the attentiveness we were given. We had a great family get-together and would definitely return to this awesome house.

The Pine Meadow Retreat accommodated us and another couple beautifully, with private spaces and bathrooms for each couple and comfortable shared space, in particular the big kitchen island which easily seats four. The kitchen is spacious, up-to-date, and very well equipped. The setting is beautiful and quiet. We would gladly stay there again.

Beautiful, clean home in the middle of the 151 fun with plenty of parking & great amenities! Our group of 8 can't wait for another 151 adventure & we definitely want to stay here again!!!

This house was amazing to stay at! The plan was just to find an Airbnb to stay at while we skied at wintergreen, but we ended up getting rained out and spent almost the whole time in the house. I was so fun the house is full of surprises and fun board games we weren't board for a minute! The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need to cook!

This is a lovely, spacious home! Perfect for a large group, plenty of comfy beds and bathrooms. The hot tub was perfect, such a beautiful view of the mountains! We loved spending evenings around the fire pit. Conveniently located to visit numerous wineries around the area. Krystal was super responsive and helpful whenever we had questions! She was flexible with check in and checkout which was a huge help for us. Would definitely stay here again!

Great cozy spot in Lovingston! Ed was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. Despite all the rain we were able to have a lovely weekend getaway. Wineries and restaurant options close by.

We enjoyed our short stay in the mountains! Beverly was very friendly and welcoming. The cabin was clean, cozy, and peaceful. We hiked Crabtree Falls (only a 10-minute drive!) and had a great meal at Devil’s Backbone (about 25 min away).

This place was incredible! My friend and I decided to meet at a halfway point (she lives in PA, I’m in NC) and decided this was the perfect spot. We arrived late but there was plenty of lighting outside. The place was so serene and the view was great! From shampoo to the clean linens, everything was ready for our arrival. I definitely recommend this place if you will be in or near the area.

It was really great for our family to get away for a few days over Thanksgiving! The property is beautiful and peaceful, and the suite was cozy. Overall we enjoyed the flexibility of having a few different rooms, being able to cook (as much as we needed/wanted to), and the fact that the earth room doesn't have windows allowed us to sleep in late. As far as amenities, the tub pretty amazing. I also really enjoyed peeking at some of the crafting books on the bookshelves - the cowgirl room in particular has a workshop feel that I enjoyed! Really grateful we were able to go on this trip - thank you!

Stayed here while I was working in the area. Gregg was awesome and always responsive. The pizza place they recommended in the information book was awesome. All in all it was a very nice place that was peaceful and relaxing, especially after a long day at work. I 100% would recommend this spot to anyone!

Great stay! It was great bringing our pet on our snowboarding trip. Plenty of room and pet friendly in suite 1. Great location for local breweries, hiking, and snow sports. The bed was super comfy! Would definitely stay again!

Dina's listing was clean and well stocked. The apartment is warm and inviting. The neighborhood is a rural community of beautiful, well-kept homes, small farms, and churches. The views from the entrance are beautiful. It is safe and quiet (unless the sound of cows occasionally mooing is an issue). We had a long stay and used the listing as a base to visit friends, family, and to enjoy all that is available in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. Interstate is easily accessible. Dina actively interacts to be sure you have what you need to be comfortable.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the property! The view is absolutely stunning. The goats were friendly and so cute. Michelle was responsive and left clear instructions as well as some local recommendations. The property is ~1 mile down any paved road and can be a bit difficult to find at night. However, it added to the country feel! We had absolutely no issues during our stay and would return in the future!

Great spot! Hope very much to return. Pros: very nicely appointed cabin. Not luxury but pretty close! Has all the things you need to make an enjoyable stay. Incredibly good access to hiking, both on foot straight from cabin and by taking a short drive. We really enjoyed the bonfire pit and the supply of firewood. We went in the winter and it was nice to get a bit of snow. Would probably be gorgeous bird watching and such in the summer. Really nice to be surrounded by nothing but trees. Felt like we had a whole mountain to ourselves. Cons: I am noise sensitive, and I did find the main cabin to be pretty close quarters. So if you’re like me or are seeking privacy or quiet amongst a loud group of folks, maybe something to think about. Also not the easiest kitchen to make a big meal (no dishwasher, small drying rack) but we definitely made it work for 5 people. Also to note — we had a couple 2WD cars that made it up the hill to the cabin, but we brought them back down hill for snow

Gorgeous surroundings. The cabin itself is better than the pictures. It is a wonderful place to relax, unwind and enjoy nature. Bill is an excellent host. I felt very comfortable communicating with him. He left a detailed instruction booklet, complete with the story of the cabin. Reading it made me feel like I had met him in real life and had a personal connection.

Such a beautiful and peaceful cabin, with a fire pit next to a relaxing creek. No cell reception or WiFi, obviously, but the listing makes that clear and Gertie's restaurant a few minutes away has free Starlink if you really need to get online. There's really nothing wrong with this place, which is rare to find. Seriously, trying to think of anything negative, the bet I can come up with is that the air unit over the bed makes very high-pitched whine. It's too high for most people to hear. My wife could hear it but I couldn't until I made an audio recording and lowered the pitch. The owner probably isn't even aware of it. That's the best I can come up with for a complaint, haha. Great place to get away from the world and if you get too bored but want to stay inside, there are loads of books downstairs, and movies (new and old) upstairs.

Amazing place to stay. Ive stayed in a few other places in the shenandoah area over the years and this one tops them all. Happily would return to this haven.

I’d argue that this is one of the best places to stay in Wintergreen. The cabin itself is perfect. We are a young family and it was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The location is also perfect. It is very close to all the attractions on the resort. Clay was a great host as well. The perfect amount of communication; engaged without being intrusive. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be sure their trip is easy and successful!

Couldn’t be more happy with Sarah’s place! Exactly what we needed. Enjoyed the walks on the many trails nearby. Very peaceful. Perfect getaway for 2! Will definitely come back! Thank you Sarah!

My partner and I had always wanted to hike Crabtree Falls and decided to take a long weekend and knock it off our list. We stayed in the little cabin which was perfect for the two of us! Although it is right off the highway, we really did not hear much traffic at all and once you go into the bedroom, it is silent! The grounds around the cabin were gorgeous and we thoroughly enjoyed the front porch and deck. The kitchen had the essential cooking tools. The cabin was so quaint and cute; it was the PERFECT place for us!! We would come and stay again anytime. My partner even said she would feel comfortable staying here as a solo female traveler, although at the time the big house rental next to us was empty.

This was our second stay at this beautiful cabin we absolutely love it. Lots of fun things to do in the area. We did some four wheeling and some fly fishing. The cabin is very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back!
