We enjoyed our stay here! It was quiet, peaceful and located close to town. Cooper suggested local places to visit and places to go out to eat. Very helpful! The hot tub was great! Very clean and taken care of. The home was clean and had everything you would need as far as kitchen items and bathroom supplies. Cooper was very responsive to our messages in a timely manner! We would stay here again!

We have stayed at many guest homes and this place was charming. Very clean-exactly what you could expect in northern Wisconsin. On a lovely lake, quiet. The home was extremely clean and very had many amenities that made it feel like a north woods experience,

I have been to a lot of Airbnbs and this was by far the best one we have been to. The house was immaculate and felt like home. There were so many things to do, we really didn’t need to leave the house. The hot tub and lake were awesome!!! Jacki was very thorough and handled everything professionally! We will definitely be staying here again and will check out her other rentals too!

Amazing host, the cabins were incredible and the surrounding trees and lighting was beautiful. The whole experience felt magical.

Great spot RIGHT on the river, such beautiful details and design of the home. Very comfortable and thoughtful details. Will need to come back when the weather is warmer, but the hot tub was fantastic - well maintained and clean.

Gabby was extremely responsive and helpful. She laid everything out beforehand and always responded in a reasonable time. When we checked in I wanted to get ahold of her and she responded within minutes. Nothing really came up, but if I needed to get ahold of her I felt comfortable that she would be there for me and my folks. The cabin was as described and all of her information both online and in her physical guidebook were very helpful. It was a beautiful location and we loved it.

A beautiful drive onto the property through Highland Cow pastures leads to a dramatic cottage perched above the pastures and river that runs through the property. The interior of the cottage is spacious, very clean, extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail is outstanding. The craftsmanship of the home is top notch. A well stocked bird feeder brought plenty of life to appreciate from the sitting room. Comfortable bed, great linens and a great bathroom! The property owners are wonderful, and it is evident in the accommodations they have created. Truly a unique experience to be so comfortable in a gorgeous valley and experience the Driftless region….it is on full display at this absolute gem.

Charming house, private location but still very close to town. All the amenities that are needed were there and clearly labeled, so easy to find. The automatic door lock scared our dog, but was a nice security feature for us humans. The fenced in area of the yard was nice, but even better was the ability to walk down the long driveway and around the pond with our dog- she loved that. There were a lot of dead asian beetles upstairs, but I understand those can be out of the owners control. We loved the property on a rainy and foggy December weekend- I imagine it would be amazing if we came back during the summer when we could sit outside and enjoy a fire and the night sky. Thanks Alexandria for being a great host for our Christmas getaway.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. The home was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and my pup loved the doggy bed. Thank you for a great stay and would book again.

Kathy’s place is perfect for a north woods getaway. We snowmobiled, and even though there is no trail at the end of the driveway, there is a public boat launch that provides access to the chain of lakes just a couple of houses over and easy to get to. The place has everything you need and just the right amount of tucked away but still close to town. Kathy is nearby and willing to help with anything that comes up. 10/10

Fantastic hosts with fantastic little cabin. Absolutely loved my stay. Super cozy and warm during the coldest snap of the year! Would be even better in the summer with the beautiful location, outdoor amenities, and classic cabin on the lake!

Sweet spot, near enough to La Crosse, but not too near. Had everything we needed. Clean and well equipped.

A family-friendly getaway- perfect for relaxing with littles!

We had a nice peaceful stay. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed using the paddle boat and fishing off the pier. We saw 3 deer, black squirrels and a grouse on our walks. Laura got back to us right away when we had any questions or concerns.

Had a peaceful and relaxing weekend staying in this cozy cottage. Walked around the beautiful grounds. This place doesn't disappoint for a quiet weekend in nature. :)

If you're looking for large, sleek and modern, this is not for you. But if you want a cozy, comfy, quintessentially vintage cabin this little honey is it! Take a step back in time and appreciate how lovingly this (former) hunting cabin has been preserved. Everywhere you look you'll be treated to authenticity and sweet surprises. We loved it! AND our host made everything easy!

A great place to stay for a snowmobiling trip! Easy access to the trails. Heather is an all-star host!

I had a great experience at Tanya’s place. I ended up going alone (me time) and it was simply what I needed, a place to open my mind outside the city, quiet, private and with beautiful views! Will definitely go back!
