This place was absolutely breathtaking and just what my wife and I were looking for. The peaceful surroundings made our quiet getaway one to remember. The hot tub was in perfect condition and always stayed warm. This was the perfect way to unwind. We were also stunned with the amazing nature views. From a snowy wonderland to the clear skies and countless stars, we were so happy with this place. We cuddled up near the fireplace which kept us warm the whole weekend. There was plenty of space for the two of us to feel comfortable and right at home. Cooper’s communication was great and quickly answered the couple of questions we had. We highly recommend this place and plan to be back some day.

Staying at the Clementine cottage was an exceptional experience—one of the best I've had. Dustin and Betsy have created an immaculate atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. From the start, their communication was seamless, providing clear instructions that made our stay hassle-free. The highlight was definitely the hot tub; soaking under the stars added a luxurious touch to our trip. I highly recommend the Clementine cottage for anyone seeking a cozy and memorable getaway. It's a true gem!

nice place! staff was friendly and the room was cozy. we tried to use the Jacuzzi tub and it was a little dirty but other than that it was a great place to stay.

Our weekend stay was truly nostalgic and exactly what we needed. We loved everything about this place and it was exactly as described. We loved playing the retro games, relaxing in the hot tub, using the fire pit, and picking a VHS to watch while playing games. We hope to make our stay an annual trip!

Great spot RIGHT on the river, such beautiful details and design of the home. Very comfortable and thoughtful details. Will need to come back when the weather is warmer, but the hot tub was fantastic - well maintained and clean.

Loved our stay! While the home is quite small, it was stocked with anything we could have wanted/needed. It was the perfect place to unplug and decompress. The hot tub was absolutely amazing! While we didn’t use the area above the garage, it was quite impressive! Can’t wait to come back.

A beautiful drive onto the property through Highland Cow pastures leads to a dramatic cottage perched above the pastures and river that runs through the property. The interior of the cottage is spacious, very clean, extremely comfortable, and the attention to detail is outstanding. The craftsmanship of the home is top notch. A well stocked bird feeder brought plenty of life to appreciate from the sitting room. Comfortable bed, great linens and a great bathroom! The property owners are wonderful, and it is evident in the accommodations they have created. Truly a unique experience to be so comfortable in a gorgeous valley and experience the Driftless region….it is on full display at this absolute gem.

Staying at this Airbnb was an absolute delight! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how well-equipped and comfortable the place was. It truly had everything you could think of and more. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and then some, making it easy to have a cup of coffee or heat up a meal! The living spaces were cozy and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The attention to detail was evident everywhere. There were thoughtful touches like extra blankets, a variety of board games, and even a selection of books! The host went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met, providing toiletries, laundry supplies, and even brochures of things to do nearby! The location was fantastic, offering a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. Overall, this Aironb exceeded all expectations and made for a truly memorable stay. I can't recommend it highly enough!

We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend thanks to Cheryl’s place. It’s a classic lake cottage with updates that suited us perfectly. Not fancy but rather the kind of place that had everything we needed and wanted. We were so happy that our dog could join us, too. The pond is beautiful and so peaceful. The cottage is clean and welcoming and the kitchen is well equipped. Cheryl was proactive and responded quickly to my one question. I highly recommend it — but only to people who don’t want to visit when we want to go back!

What a beautiful view from the picture window! This place was charming and had everything you could need to relax. My host was very accommodating and attentive. She brought a basketful of fresh linens to accommodate my change in guests due to schedules and availability of my family and friends. The pizza place that was recommended was fantastic and they delivered. The place is in a great location, close enough to town but out in the country. The sunsets were enjoyed on the deck:) One morning early while lounging on the couch I saw a beautiful yellow autumn dressed tree and under it’s branches a buck, majestic with his antlers under the tree shaking the bottom branches:) Very peaceful. We also enjoyed siting around the smokeless fire pit. Thank you for sharing your home with us!:)

A family-friendly getaway- perfect for relaxing with littles!

The cottage was small but worked for our family of four. They were super welcoming of our puppy, too!

I did not want to leave the comfortable nest of a bed that faces three windows overlooking ducks on the river. What a restful stop! Thanks!

Patty’s place is exactly as described. Right in the heart of Fish Creek, but down a secluded drive that is very private. Patty’s communication was great. We had four adults and our Bernedoodle and could not have been more comfortable. Shops and restaurants were within easy walking distance. Most restaurants accommodate dogs on the patio, so our dog could go almost everywhere with us. Everything else is just a short drive away. We had a great time and would definitely stay at Patty’s place again.

Property was represented accurately as shown in photos and written information. The property is right on the water! It should be noted that properties away from the water access the lakefront and dock directly in front of the cabin which at times felt a bit awkward. Rhinelander is close and has everything you might need or want. Overall, a pleasant experience and would recommend.

We had a nice peaceful stay. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed using the paddle boat and fishing off the pier. We saw 3 deer, black squirrels and a grouse on our walks. Laura got back to us right away when we had any questions or concerns.

This was our second time staying at Andy’s place, and our experience has been great both times. Andy keeps a very clean and beautiful place to stay that makes you feel right at home in the Northwoods.

This was my first time using Airbnb. Based on my experience it will not be my last. In fact, I am already looking at rebooking this January for some winter hiking. Everything, I mean everything, was fantastic. The attention to detail was so apparent. It was welcoming and cozy. Wonderful host!

We had a wonderful long weekend in this super cozy, extremely clean home where we had everything we needed. The view and sunsets were amazing, and we enjoyed the backyard even though the weather was a little chilly. Check in was easy and Natasha was very responsive. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to come back again!

This home’s location could not be better—it is nestled in the trees right on the lake and just steps aways from the ski hill allowing you to ski in and ski out! It was down a winding and hilly road that was easy to find with Marks instructions; I was grateful for the all wheel drive on our vehicle to get us there :) The house itself is also very impressive—it was beautiful, well constructed, clean and well stocked. Mark and his brother were super responsive and very friendly. We had a great stay!

Very responsive host. Found unit in a condition consistent with description. Highly recommend checking out Red Pines Bar & Grill for a great meal. Very scenic view of Lake Onalaska and a short drive into town. Parking can be a challenge if you have multiple vehicles in your group during busy periods, as there are other units located nearby. Thanks Angie, we plan to be back!
