Had an amazing experience at Twisted Twig Yurt! We stayed in February and the snowy location and quiet surroundings were perfect. We stayed warm with the wood stove and wood provided. Clean and had everything we needed and lots of small touches that showed forethought about our experience. Easy drive into Bayfield, shopping and great lunch at Many Penny. Experienced the Chequamegon Bay ice caves and Mt Ashwabay cross country skiing what a great experience with our cozy home base at the Yurt.

YurtSimple is a magical getaway! We loved it so much in the early fall that we visited again this past weekend, and it was just as wonderful in the early spring with snow falling this morning. Wil has thought of everything to make this a relaxing, fun, and stress-free retreat in nature. He even had the wood-burning stove rolling for us so that the yurt was warm and cozy upon our arrival. There’s plenty of cut wood, tinder, and matches, as well as light and power sources, water, all the necessities. This is really a special place and we can’t wait to stay again someday!

Wonderful stay! Views are unmatched. Worth the hike

A simple abode in peaceful woods. Fired up the wood stove and did not need the second sleeping bag in below zero temps. We enjoyed the dark skies full of stars and the quiet.

We had the best time staying at Yurtcation- truly a slice of heaven. It was the perfect blend of adventure & a more stress-free and comfortable version of camping. Cambridge was lovely to explore, and an easy less than a 5 minute drive away, but the Yurt felt like its own little world- surrounded by gorgeous views and wildlife. We would absolutely come back- such a cool and fun experience- our dog had the time of his life.

Loved staying here! Very peaceful and stunning view. Had everything I needed, including firewood, kindling, and extra lighters. Note that the 0.8 miles to get there is very steep.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at the yurts and love them. They’re located just up the highway from town, and close to howl, and the wineries. Will definitely stay again.

I had a fantastic stay! The yurt was amazing and having an outdoor space to enjoy was nice as well. The communication from Gina was great, very responsive. The directions to the site were accurate and was helpful on how the roads were laid out making finding it even easier. Gina provided quite a few suggestions on what to do and places to visit. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to do so again in the future. Thank you Gina on a relaxing stay!

The Yert is the place to be. Ashley is a great host. We have stayed here several times and will continue to do so. The Yert has always been extremely organized and clean upon our arrival and our host Ashley has always been there for us if we had any needs during our stay. I would recommend this place as a fun, unique and peaceful location for those in the Almond area!

Booked a girl’s weekend at the Redwood Yurt and was not disappointed!! Such a unique Airbnb experience. Definitely took advantage of the sauna while we were there. Izzy and Danna were outstanding from start to finish-readily available to answer any questions and gave excellent recommendations for nearby dining and winter activities. Definitely recommend booking with them!

We had a lovely and peaceful stay at Turtle Yurts! It was quiet and comfortable. It was very relaxing to watch the trees and the stars out of the dome.

Exactly what we were looking for! Very unique place with all kinds of fun things to discover throughout the house. We loved hiking on the trails and seeing the creek.

It was a quaint, peaceful, and beautiful get away for the weekend. During the winter it does get pretty cold even with the provided heater but just bringing some extra layers still makes it worth it. Dennis and Kathy were very responsive and Dennis helped us get our car out of the drive way when it snowed along with getting us more water quickly. Coqui, their dog, was the cutest and friendly. Places in town were closed due to weather but we went to Walmart for food and it turned out fine. We also ate at this great Mongolian grill restaurant in Wisconsin Dells and went to a place called Aquavia lumina where they had an outside light show that you walk and it was amazing definitely recommend that. Also did the magiquest which was surprisingly very fun and I think next time I would need a whole day for that. The next night we saw so many stars it was beautiful and with the outside string lights my boyfriend, now fiancee, proposed! Thank you Dennis and Kathy!

My friends and I had a great time at Driftless Yurt! Dan was very hospitable and kind! He made sure we had plenty of dry wood and drinking water. We loved the little wood stove that kept us warm when the temps dropped at night and how beautiful the view was over the ridge. The stars were magical every night. We will definitely be back for more yurt adventures. We want to be like Dan when we grow up.

We greatly enjoyed our stay and the beautiful setting. The yurt was very cozy and the amenities were very well maintained. The trail on the property made for a fantastic morning hike.
