Was a fantastic experience very clean and the host was very helpful would most definitely recommend. Price is very good for the area and several fantastic locations to go to around. Got to see a chicken jockey while there was very cool.

We had a wonderful stay! Gorgeous outdoor space and pool - we practically spent all of our time outside as it was just too beautiful not to! Great location close to the town of Big Stone Gap and a short drive to High Knob. Dee was a very responsive and accommodating host! We loved the stylish space and found the house to be well appointed for all of our needs.

This is our second time staying at a property Jennifer’s. She is a great host! Always responsive to any of our needs and accommodating. The house was exactly what we needed. Our two boys were so happy to have the back yard. We came in to see family and the kitchen was so well stocked we had a great meal together! There were plenty of towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo /conditioner and trash bags. Thanks to Jennifer for always making our experiences of coming back home to see family so wonderful. She is the best host! Thank you!

We came into town for a birding festival hosted by Cowan Community Center and the Tanglewood Cottage was a great place to stay. We walked on the bike path everyday, walked to festival events including the farmers market, and enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood. The cottage was clean and very comfortable, and overall really easy even with our two dogs. The host was very communicative and easy to work with. We would definitely stay there again!

The house was perfect for a small group that needed to be close to town and also had plenty of room to spread out in.

we come up for the first time to ride the spearhead trails It was just what we were looking for, older cabin style house parking for a truck and trailer was a tad inadequate but there was place to park our vehicle close to the cabin

We have stayed here multiple times, this place is definitely worth it and we enjoy how private it is.

This is a gem of a place to stay in Whitesburg. First of all, it was a wonderful, private location in a peaceful neighborhood. I felt my dog was very secure in the fenced in yard. Also, it was immaculately clean upon entering the bungalow. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was so quiet at night..... The location of the bungalow was walkable to downtown in 7 minutes and the covered bridge at night with the glowing lights was beautiful. I will definitely stay again next time I am visiting family.

The Alley House is a charming place to stay. So much so that I spent two weeks there. I am from the area but haven’t lived there for many years. It’s great to have a charming comfortable place to accommodate us while in the area visiting family. This will be my go-to for future visits.

We needed somewhere to stay the night during a roadtrip and the r-pod was perfect for our needs! All of the basic essentials were provided, plus some thoughtful touches. As a plus size gal, the bathroom was a squeeze but still doable. Be warned, it was quite chilly inside the pod for an October night! There was a small space heater provided, which came in very handy, but bringing extra blankets might be a good idea (or dress warm for bed lol). Also, a heads up that there were some loose dogs hanging out around the pod when we arrived and left. They seemed friendly, but were not scared of the car, so be on the lookout when pulling in/out. Overall, a good choice!
