Our stay at Alida’s place was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and at home. Alida is a fantastic host who truly goes above and beyond to ensure her guests have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The space itself is cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home. Everything you could need for a self-catering stay is provided, from a fully equipped kitchen to all the little essentials that make a big difference. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention has been put into making this a perfect retreat. We enjoyed the splash pool in the heat and the option to warm it up with a wood fire was amazing. The location is ideal as it’s close to town and all the shops, but secluded enough to enjoy the surrounding nature. This is a very large, comfortable, clean, beautiful apartment with great views of the ocean. It is a short five minute walk to the Lighthouse and to the convenience, store and restaurants in town. Would loved the peacefulness of this town and its non-touristy appeal even though you are right there where the Indian and Atlantic oceans meet. Hillary was a great host, staying late for our evening arrival. We highly recommend this is a place to stay.

Geeignet für jemanden der Ruhe und Erholung sucht. Witsand hat einen traumhaften Strand, der in unmittelbarer fußläufiger Nähe ist. Der Gastgeber, Anton, war äußerst aufmerksam. Er hat uns Restaurants genannt und ein Menü mit leckerem Back-Fisch nebst selbst eingelegten Oliven und roter Beete bereitet. Wir haben uns bei ihm sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great place with AMAZING views. A bit dated as many places in SA and the wind is very noisy whistling through windows and doors. Would happily stay again and great for a group of friends or family who fish or kitesurf.

Die Unterkunft hat eine super Lage – nur ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Strand und Hafen. Besonders schön ist die große Fensterfront, die viel Licht reinlässt und eine gute Aussicht bietet. Allerdings wird es dadurch auch recht warm im Zimmer – eine Klimaanlage wäre eine tolle Ergänzung. Die Küche ist zweckmäßig ausgestattet und für einen kurzen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend. Das Bett ist, wie andere Gäste schon erwähnt haben, recht klein und kurz, aber für zwei Nächte war es in Ordnung. Insgesamt hatten wir einen angenehmen Aufenthalt und können die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen!

This one bedroom apartment within easy walking distance to the beach and harbour in Stillbaai was perfect for us. Everything we needed was available in the apartment or nearby. We had a wonderfully relaxing time and would highly recommend Elizca and the apartment to others.

We loved our stay. the setting is amazing and the accomodation was spot on. Really enjoyed having two areas to relax outside - one close to the fire pit and one at the front of the cottage. All the essentials you need are there and the views are beautiful.

we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.

What a find! Perfect for two couples with kids, the splash pool was perfect for cooling off in the summer heat. Lovely veranda with braai and space to relax. Kitchen is very well supplied and the open plan layout makes for a social atmosphere. Rooms are great - beds are comfortable with good quality linen. Bathrooms are pristine, roomy and well laid out. Living area has nice couches, plenty of games, and the record player is a nice touch. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! Perfect base to explore McGregor and surrounds.

My wife and I have been traveling to globe for a year now and rarely do we find an Airbnb that fits the description; “truly awesome!!”. This home, set in a fig and pecan orchard (and stunning garden), has commanding views of the mountains surrounding Montagu. The pool and BBQ area are simply wonderful. The house is beautifully furnished with two stunning bedrooms en suite. Thank you, Michele and Martin for a truly amazing experience. We’ll certainly be back.

We had a great weekend with the family! Such a lovely house for a group of friends or family. Well equiped and great location. The enclosed yard is ideal for kids. The indoor fireplace and big table is everyone's favourite spot!

Absolutely beautiful. The hosts were super responsive, friendly and so helpful. We adored the house, it’s very stylish and homely. The surroundings are fantastic. We went to the Karoo Art hotel for a G&T and relaxed at the house. I did yoga on the stunning deck by the pool in the morning and then we went for a lovely swim in the river. It’s a wonderful place and I’d highly recommend. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home. Hope to come again. ❤️
