Great place, as advertised. Very close to the base lift at Granby and we skied down to the back porch at closing time each day. It was a short walk through base camp in the mornings to get to the lift. Many ski in/ski out's are a stretch and aren't as advertised but this one proved to be a true ski in/ski out. Very happy with price, location and amenities. I was able to walk over to the gym for a workout in the morning (with access to pool and hottub as well) for $15/day. IF you plan to go the gym, they only allow you to come in with a clean change of shoes (BEWARE). They don't want the salt and grit on the machines and they WILL turn you away. Also, given that the house does allow pets, I'm surprised they have carpet in the upstairs. Would prefer hard surfaces throughout (wood/tile/etc) for cleanliness reasons but I realize that's a personal preference and everyone's different. Great place overall!

Highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a place to stay in Grand Lake! The house sits right on the lake, so the views from every level are incredible. It is very spacious and we had plenty of room for our family of 4. The kitchen is fully stocked. The location is great and only a short drive to downtown Grand Lake for plenty of restaurant options if desired. Everything was super clean and the host was very responsive. Check this place out if you want a mountain getaway!

Location was great! All we had to do was walk to the end of the parking lot, put our skis on, and ski down to the lift. The place was cozy and perfect for our group’s ski weekend. Would definitely return!

Wow! We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. We stayed as a family ski weekend and adored it. Very easy access to Breck without the Breck nonsense. Very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed to cook, store our ski stuff, and enjoy our family vacation! Absolutely beautiful surroundings in a warm and cozy setting. Every bathroom came with more than enough towels and had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash! The extra blankets in each bedroom was lovely for a cold weekend. We would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommend!

Very roomy, clean, comfortable beds & bedding. Kitchen had an all the necessities plus some, including Keurig and Nespresso machines! Towel warmers in bathrooms were great. Boot and glove dryers off porch were nice. We had 8 people there, had plenty of hot water for showers. We had a hard time getting our own Netflix, etc loaded up on tvs. I don’t consider this ski in/ski out as advertised. But mountain base is a short distance away. We drove back and forth. Over all we had a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend this property.

Penelope was a gracious host and her home is in a dramatically beautiful town. We stayed during winter and appreciated the hot tub and local restaurant we could walk to. My kids loved that her house sits on a great hill, perfect for playing. We all had a great time staying in Red Cliff away from the busy ski towns and were constantly amazed by the great views of the town and surrounding mountains from the living room.
