My friends and I had a great time celebrating my birthday with a peaceful, relaxing 3-night stay at Rapids Rustic Retreat! From the moment we walked in we knew it was everything we wanted for our weekend - clean, cozy, private, peaceful! Our hosts were excellent with communication when needed and we had all the amenities we could ask for (even a crock pot that came in handy because we had forgotten ours at home!) We’ve already began discussing our next “staycation” at Rapids Rustic Retreat so that we can take advantage of the outdoor amenities during the summer months! Great place to stay and will definitely recommend to any friends or family looking for a quiet getaway.

We picked Trudi's place because we were having a girls overnight trip in the area and it was perfect. we each had our own bedrooms, the bathroom was roomy and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was clean and close to all sorts of restaurants and had everything we needed.

From the moment we walked through the door- we were awestruck at the warm and relaxing atmosphere. The Gambrel Guesthouse is beautiful and was so spacious for our large family, 8 adults and five children ages 3-12. Three levels, and every room had its own special charm, the decor is great, and always something new to see at every turn! The bedrooms were spacious, cozy and comfortable! The kitchen was great and had everything we needed to prepare meals. Our family enjoyed sitting in the different areas, talking, playing games and doing puzzles. It was an ideal space for celebrating our winter family getaway! The property grounds and wooded walking trails are beautiful in winter, and have a peaceful serenity. Would love to be here in the summer and see the prairie in bloom! Great memories made here!

We had a great time at The White House. Great location - Able to walk to nearby restaurants. House was very clean and exactly as described. Check-in was a breeze. Enjoyed playing pool and catching up with some old friends.

Nice quiet and private location. Spacious (rented entire house). Good communication with Host.

We have a group of girls that have stayed here for the last couple years when we shoot in a pool tournament in Wisconsin Rapids. The house is super nice, very convenient and close to downtown, quiet neighborhood, and the host is very friendly and professional. We had no problems whatsoever during our stay and will continue to stay there as often as we can when we visit the city

It was nice for my son and I to have our own rooms during the stay. We were gone almost all day so we mostly just slept there. But the suite was clean and very comfortable with everything we needed at our fingertips. There was one problem when I forgot the keys and locked the door behind me! I tried to contact Billie Jo, but she didn't answer until pretty late. That was on me, but one suggestion would be to install key code locks to avoid this. Overall great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone!
